Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy

We went to Haven burnham on sea and cannot fault the people and the site, it was very clean and the staff were so friendly and made you feel at home, would highly recommend if your looking for a break, also lots to do around the area
STAY WELL AWAY.
We bought a caravan in July 2024 at Blue dolphin holiday park. Caravan was brand new and believe me this was not cheap. We went for the let to offset method so that we would have no pitch fees to pay as the staff at haven holidays were letting this for us.
We decided to have the first week to our selves in August 2024 before they started to let out the caravan to holiday makers.
Well the plot we were put on was not the best. It was next to the laundry service where the lorries and vans were coming all day at all times. Caravan was shaking and the noise was horrendous. This was not a cheap plot' £5400 just for the plot over £7000 with everything else.
After complaining they promised to move us to a different plot which was shown to us before the move.
We agreed to the new plot and even though this was a higher priced plot (£6100). We were given it for the same price as the previous plot. No favours really as the season was now closed so we never benefited from this new plot. After Christmas 2024 we received a call saying caravan had been sited on the new plot so in January we decided to go to the park and set up the caravan but upon arriving we saw the caravan had been dumped on the plot and not even connected to the services' just left there lopsided along with nothing but mole hills all around the caravan.
This was the final straw for myself and my partner and we decided to look elsewhere and find a new park which we did and a great little site it is as well. But before the caravan was moved from blue dolphin to our new park we did notice that when the staff at blue dolphin moved our caravan from one pitch to another they had damaged our caravan as we did take photos of the caravan while it was still on their property.
When the caravan was moved by blue dolphin staff to the pickup point for our removal company to take the caravan it was noticed that blue dolphin staff had also snapped our tv ariel.
Photos of this damage was taken prior to our company picking the caravan up.
We have been in touch with blue dolphin regards the damage they have caused to the caravan but still as of yet we are still waiting to hear from them to rectify this damage.
To be honest we are not holding our breath. We are just so glad to be well shut of blue dolphin and its parent company Haven.
Now seems to discriminate against elderly/less able bodied
Have been on haven holidays for the last few years. Usually 2 or 3 times a year and except for once, the cheap start or end of season specials.. ie £49 for 4 nights. Never had problems with cleanliness of vans or their condition. Often was upgraded as well. However, I am 71 years old and sometimes I have back problems. The last few times I have been put in vans, so far from facilities that I ended up not leaving the caravans during the whole holiday. I understand I could have chosen my van but they charge almost as much as the actual holiday as an extra. Essentially I regard this as discrimination of those less able by haven.

Caravans are usually OK but the saucepans and frying pans can be dirty and well past there use dates with deep scratches etc
We have had a couple of ovens that are filthy as well ...for this reason we always take our own mini oven ....we have had to clean a few windows when we have arrived at a couple of vans

We've had numerous holidays in caravans before and with this company. But where has the customer service gone. All information is on an app, including a list of cleaning jobs when we leave. Including strip the beds. What are we paying Haven for? I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE. I AM A CUSTOMER THATS RECIEVED NO SERVICE. On the Saturday and Sunday we sat with a drink watching numerous meals been sent back uncooked from jacket potatoes to raw chicken. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACE

This season 2025 they have a cheeck to charge £5.30 for a pint of carling and that's the cheapest shocking
Give it a go
Lovely Place to stay if you are after a family fun pack break. We went and the caravan was beautiful well maintained park. it’s a must
WARNING DO NOT BOOK WITH HAVEN
Paid for the cancellation protection on booking as partner is in the forces, had to cancel due to deployment and Haven sent this email "Due to purchasing our Haven holiday protection, if you could forward some official documentation that shows you are unable to travel for this holiday for the provided reason, we can move forward with your cancellation under the correct terms. This would be at a loss of the £22.00 HHP with a refund requested for £656.00.
Kind regards,
Haven"
I called to query and they do indeed expect a letter or some form of evidence to justify why I 'cannot travel'.
This is so incredibly insensitive and inappropriate and no doubt a total breach of GDPR. Imagine If the circumstance where one of was serious/terminal Illness, death, etc they expecting a written diagnosis of terminal illness, or death cert,
I have PAID for cancellation protection!
No One should feel they need to divulge very personal and sensitive information to Haven so they can play devil's advocate and decide if a refund is warranted.
TOTAL disregard of purchasing laws and consumer rights act. Disgusting! AVOID
I am now having to have it confirmed with the MOD what I am allowed to share just to try and get my money back but I should be in this position!
Monthly payment holiday
I was paying monthly for a week easter break for me and my children, oldest is disabled. I am a single parent to 3 children and this was the only way I could afford to take them away. I missed one payment, due to my bank being hacked, so was frozen. And couldn’t make any payments, and they cancelled my holiday, I owed £116 left to pay which I said I would pay the day I called, they declined and said I would have to pay a £20 fee plus todays prices which would total to £365, I simply could not afford to pay this and they would not refund all my previous payments which in total was £280.
We now have to loose out on this holiday and the monies I had already paid.

We've had some nice holidays using haven. You can get some really good deals. Some parks are friendlier than others which is a shame. But the good ones are great!
Would have left 0 star if I could
Would have left 0 star if I could.
Went with my parents for them to have time to relax and we was left cleaning everything, getting tea cups out for a drink and what I can only think is 3 weeks worth of stains left all in the cups which left us thinking what other utensils are unclean and unhygienic, then finding a broken shower head and other little things, it did end up putting a damper on the holiday having to sort all these little things out.
Very disappointing as these are not cheap holidays anymore and for the price you pay you want a clean hygiene environment. We have been put off for definite and will probably not go back to a haven sight anymore as it seem they do not care about the customer anymore.

I'm disabled looking for accessible caravan in may. Attempted to find a caravan but I can't find one on haven Web site. Lots of talk about accessible but I couldn't find one, so I contacted sales by phone, the system at head office didn't recognise my post code so no help there either. Why they needed my post code I don't know I wasn't doing a house swap..haven I will give up now and use the company I've always used.
Don't advertise a facility if it can't be found.
MARTON MERE…EXCELLENT!!!
WE always try to visit MARTON MERE every year, if only to see the "Illuminations".
We always find, that we have a warm and friendly, welcome each and every time!!!!
The security staff are always helpful, and the our accommodation is always clean, fresh and tidy.

Terrible company customer service terrible they rob you of your money use a more reputable holiday camp haven really gone down hill won’t ever use again they need to go out of buisness
Fantastic Weekend
Returned last week from a long weekend at the Caister site and it was fantastic.
There was as hitch a couple of days before the holiday with our booked caravan, but they notified us and upgraded us to a bronze van instead at no extra cost, which was only £49 for the three nights anyway.
Every member of staff we came across at the site were genuinely happy and helpful, from the swift and efficient check in at the gate (lessons to be learned by Butlins here) to the guy who stopped when i was looking a little bemused as to where my van was (despite the excellent map they gave me that i, of course, didn't follow). Staff in the shops, bar and arcade were all the same too, nothing seemed too much trouble and they were always willing to help.
The site itself, from what i saw, was spotless. There was an incident of someone leaving a bag out overnight that the gulls got to and scattered about, but in no time, the site had someone on it and all cleared quickly and thoroughly.
Our van was spotless, a bronze level with three bedrooms (2 x Twins, 1 x Double), bathroom with shower, large living area with dining table, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, cooker with oven and central heating. It was in a great part of the camp too, just a 30 second walk to the beach which again was great, lots of soft sand, dunes and rocky outcrops to explore.
We had Sunday lunch while we were there, just £18.99 for two of us, i had beef, the wife had Turkey, it seemed no sooner had i returned from ordering, the food was at the table, hot, fresh and well cooked. The veg still had some bite to it, so not a stewed mess like some places.
I admit that it wouldn't have been their busiest time, but for us it was a great experience with plenty of great places to explore within a few miles drive and if you have no car, there is a bus service right outside the site to take you to Great Yarmouth, Hemsby, Caister itself and many other locations.
No WiFi in caravans
We visited prestayn in wales, the park and complex is really good and close to beach, I have been going to haven for many years including hafan ya more, we always have the same issue with caravans though no matter which park we go to, cannot get WiFi in caravans, u have to go to complex which is not helpful for the kids when bk at caravan, due to their complaints of this we no longer visit haven anymore and found an alternative, I do hope they make it available in all caravans in future as we really did enjoy the parks. I couldn’t even use my o2 data allowance it was very poor, I get more WiFi on a bus.
Haven just don’t seem to care anymore
Haven just don’t seem to care anymore. The vans are never cleaned properly and I don’t think the cleaners (in all cases) are to blame they probably don’t have enough time. The state of the sink in my van is so vile, 5 mins with a bit of viakal and a cloth and it would be clean. Customer services don’t want to know about any issues or rectify them. Even when you complain they don’t care. I’m in a silver right now and the sofa and carpet are just disgusting. Brown stained and they stink. I rebook as it’s cheap but they need to start looking at these reviews and actually doing something about improving the issues people are writing about
Please I beg you consider adding a couples only quiet area!
Please I beg you, a small couples only area on each park would have a huge benefit to those that are coming for a break away, lay in, relax and peaceful time! I’ve suggested it in every review and feedback form you’ve sent me but Haven never ever listens to it and responds with ‘It’s a family park’… yes well I class me and my partner as a family and just because we chose not to have children, shouldn’t mean we don’t have a nice peaceful time!
Please consider making a small area of the parks (one cul de sac area) couples and elderly only so that we can enjoy our holiday and break away too without being woken at 6:00am by small feet running up and down the caravan and at 11pm at night…
It’s slowly getting to us more and more to the point where soon, you’ll lose us as customers and although it’s not much, we visit all your parks 5/6 times a year which soon adds up and honestly, it could be a huge benefit for you and others to include a quiet couples area instead of sticking people that have paid for an upgrade to Silver or gold, next to a family of 6 with two children!!!!
Don’t go to Great Over Sands Caravan Park
Great over sands visited 21st oct 2024
Gold caravan
Smelt of damp
Oven broken
Freezer unusable
Island in kitchen work top severely damaged
Shower water drained straight out under the caravan causing the patio to lift up
We approached reception daily with different issues which was recorded .
Took photos & videos showed them it was recorded via email to them .
On our return home we also sent a complaint with photos & videos got a generic response.
How as a company can they continue offering substandard accommodation and get away with it so disappointing.
