Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy
Welcoming touring site. My wife and I have just spent 2 weeks on the Hafan y mor touring site. Lovely welcome from the 2 wardens. John the warden offered us loads of helpful information and always... Ver más

Caravan staff entertainment 5 star…
Caravan staff entertainment 5 star caravan spotless warm perfect Devon cliffs. Had holidays with haven many times st Ives Cornwall Weymouth perranporth. Got one coming up with haven Yorkshire Xmas week. Best value all round
Dirty caravan at hafan y mor
Stayed at Hafan y Mor in a supposedly signature lakeside gold caravan. Caravan wasn't cleaned properly with dirty windows & black mould in the bathroom. Upon stripping the bed on departure I was horrified to discover a blood stain on the mattress. Emailed haven who advised because I didn't report it with 4 hours of my arrival there not interested. What a cop out who stripping the bed on arrival.
Go with an open mind!!
I felt it was important to write a review of our recent 7 day trip to Craig Tara. We booked the saver caravan which was dog friendly, the reason for this review was we read some horror reviews before we left and had major anxiaty about this trip, most of the reviews were aimed at cleanleness and with two young children we began to worry that we were in for a terrible holiday. We even read a review of the exact caravan we stayed in so again that caused a few sleepless nights before we got there. I dont want to waffle too much so when we got there and seen the caravan to our surprise and joy the caravan was everything we hoped for, clean and tidy and no major issues, maybe a little tired and run down but that is to be expected. The main thing was it was clean so hats off to the cleaners, my main point is go there with an open mind and try not to read into the shocking reviews too much, make your own mind up. I have no doubt that people have had terrible experiences and its up to haven to rectify these the right way, customers always right, but also have realistic expectations, if you book a saver caravan dont expect wifi, dont expect it to be brand new etc, aside from the caravan the site is lovely, in a great location, beach is lovely, our dog was very happy, there is plenty onsite eateries although pretty expensive but only a short journey into the town for cheaper alternatives, aldi only 15 mins away, the shop on site was reasonable and i always found plenty reduced items to save a few pennies. We done a few of the activities, my daughter loved the build a bear, and painting mugs and plates, again all this can be booked through the app. The star of the show is the pool, its excellent, so much fun for kids and adults, its very well staffed lots of lifeguards to keep you safe, can be very busy at times but with so many areas you are never short of room. To the negatives or shall we call them potential improvements or feedback, i will start with the cost of being onsite, like all these places its super expenssive for food, activities etc they do offer deals and such but it would be nice if they looked at not robbing people so much, but again we always knew this would be the case, the next thing for us was the entertainment, the issue isnt with the entertainment itself but the lack of seating/the function room being to small for the amount of people, we went on 3 different nights and each night we couldnt get a seat, again people hogging 5/6 seats saying they are waiting on people coming, but overall there just wasnt enough space, when you have young kids and are carrying nappy bags etc you really need a seat, the easy answer might be get there earlier but we arent standing waiting for an houe to get in with young kids as there is no way they would be patient enough, so our daughter missed out on the kids disco everynight we tried as we couldnt get seated, such a shame, maybe be a good idea to book seats so everyone gets a shot, or have staff monitoring seating and stopping people activley stacking seats until their friends arrive, the other feedback realates to thw pool changing areas, more enforcement of people either wearing blue pool shoes in the changing rooms or taking off there shoes would be good, as the changing rooms become very dirty, also this is more for guests, clean up after yourselfs once leaving the changing rooms, dirty nappies, dirty pool shoes, paper wrist bands can all be put in the bins dont leave it for staff to do, i will finish on a positive and a suggestion for anyone looking to book, we went when the fireworks were on and they turned out to be so much better than i expected. What a show and i think the site could do more to highlight the fireworks night, there wasnt too much information on it, i feel it could be turned into a show, maybe a speaker and a countdown etc, but again the fireworks themselves was superb so please to all think about going at that time of year for a bit of extra entertainment!!! thanks for reading and i hope your trip ends up as good as ours was!! thanks haven and all the staff (especially the cleaners) who probably are overworked at times and up against it.
Greenacres Haven Porthmadog Excellent
I took my two eldest grandchildren (8 & 5) to Greenacres Haven site near Porthmadog - we stayed in a silver standard 3 bedroom caravan on Tulip Court - it was lovely. There is so much to do, the site is lovely and clean, the swimming pool was warm and my grandchildren loved it- in fact my 5 yr old granddaughters swimming came on so well she was like a water baby!
The trampoline bungee was brilliant as was the young man who was running it and Lauren where you booked activities was really caring and helpful- we will be going back 😊
Was allocated a three bedroom instead…
Orchards Clacton on sea
Was allocated a three bedroom instead of the two bedroom that I booked. As a disabled person it was therefore difficult to sleep in the main room, so had to try to sleep in a single bed. So three nights not much sleep, due to lack of room. As this was a three bedroom, the bathroom was too small to put my toilet frame around the toilet, never had a problem in a two bedroom. A big tear in the quilt cover, dirty/marked pillow case, frying pan was unwashed, just wiped with kitchen roll , so food and oil remained on it, cooker hob looked clean but the grids were thick with grease. The coffee table and main table not cleaned, food crumbs at the under edge of both sofas, luckily we took with us a cloth and cleaning products, so our first job was to clean. It’s a shame because it was a nice van.
A little break but came home exhausted, and in pain.
New no freezer policy
We went to greenacres in Porthmadog and the caravan had no freezer not even a little on in the fridge. Like going back in time to the 60s
Dread to think how bad it was for a family in summer with mo ice cubes or frozen veg. This is the 9th time we have used haven and always been fine but will not be booking with them again
Unacceptable - dirty cutlery and crockery.
Reighton Sands - gave this two stars because of the views, lovely clean site and friendly gate staff. Was pleasantly surprised that there was gravel this year instead of a bad mud problem beside the caravans!
Caravan was spacious, warm and good storage space. First impressions of spotless toilet and mirrors was good, however, filthy crockery, saucepans and cutlery was appalling, loose grated cheese inside the fridge and uncleaned spillages inside the cupboard was unbelievable. Measuring jug filthy and smelt of urine.
Haven will probably wonder why it wasnt reported but I cannot waste a holiday waiting for someone to come and sort things every day! Wish I could show photos.
Easy and simple
Littlesea Weymouth - Jordan is amazing and we went to view a van and made the experience simple and easy to understand. The park is beautiful and clean and tidy. Purchased van and picked up the keys following week. Thank you for an easy and simple transaction.
The Orchards Holiday Park. Disgusting Filthy Caravans - Haven quite happy to put people into this awful accommodation.

I visited with family and we had three caravans between us. All of the caravans were dirty and two had carpets that stank and were covered in animal urine stains.
My sister complained at the time and two members of staff visited. They told my sister that they could spray febreeze or put in a machine which would suck out the smell - no mention of cleaning or moving to a clean caravan. My caravan was Gold Standard, it was absolutely filthy and stank - the worst caravan I have ever stayed in. The carpet was so disgusting that I covered it with my dog blankets but had to leave the outside doors open whilst watching T.V. because of the smell. Haven central staff sent a generic corporate reply to my complaints - they made no comment about the photographs of the carpet. Absolutely appalling customer service.
Incompetent
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at perran sands what supposed to be a nice 2 weeks holiday started of by arriving late at 3am with kids but after getting keys opened the door to see cupboards broken in the kitchen cupboard main bedroom carpet hadnt been Hoovered as there was dirt down both sides of the beds so went to sleep thinking would look around properly in the morning only to find dirt down side of frigde stained bedding in wardrobes absolutely disgusting how can that be pre cleaned prior to our arrival but as i seen who they have doing it doesn't surprise me one bit now i witnessed haven bus load in what i assume are very low paid agency workers or ????? But the point is I ended up paying for a deep clean by booking the wrong caravan but I watched them clean the caravan next to us and they are family with young kids and definitely don't have very high cleaning standards as they spent no more than 5 mins in there and didn't even remove the finger marks on the windows I believe my £50 has been a waste i will never go back there
Arrived to find they had no pitch for…
Arrived to find they had no pitch for us and our touring caravan. We booked and paid in advance, arrived at our alloted time only to have to wait 2 hours while they ran round like headless chickens. After a long journey up there, we then had to turn round and travel back. We got a full refund and a £50 voucher of our next booking (wild horses would not drag me back there) but I had to fight for some travel expenses costs (I wrote to the CEO to get anything). They have only given us half the amount because they want fuel receipts.
Would never go again, and would not recommend this organisation to anyone.
This ruined our annual holiday at 69 and 75 years old, this was an exhausting and upsetting experience- never again, thank you Haven.
Very bad hygiene standards.
After discovering what was probably pubic hair on a mattress and mould in the shower it was decided enough was enough. Security moved us at midnight on day of arrival. There were other issues too, such as dirty used cutlery that had been put back in the drawer without washing. The next day the staff on Reception were very rude and could not have cared less. They thought moving us should have been the end of the matter and even accused me of being aggressive which was a lie. They had no time to hear of sub hygiene standards. We should never have been put in that caravan in the first place. And totally unfit for little children never mind adults. There can only be no quality control checks on the caravans. This was Devon Cliffs at Sandy Bay. We arrived on September 30th 2024. The caravan was a Bronze but that should be no excuse for poor standards of hygiene.. Never ever again.
Haven Perran Sands Cornwall
We've just returned from Perran Sands in Cornwall and we were very impressed. We had a disabled adapted caravan which was spotless, well equipped and an upgrade from our booking 😊 the site itself is clean, neat and tidy, the security patrols regularly and the staff helpful and polite. The only niggle is the duvets - when I stripped the sheets off on leaving, I found blood and other marks on them, lesson learnt - check when you arrive!
Very poor in this day and age
We have been to Presthaven sand and so surprised in this day and age there is no WiFi in the accommodation. So do not bring kids toys which need connection or iPads etc. very poor. What year are we living in
Was shocked to find on our allocated…
Was shocked to find on our allocated arrival 1pm - 2pm for a motorhome at Haggerston Castle that the departure time was set same as caravans at 10am. Never had to leave any site in UK before 12.
The Mash & Barrel cooks should be sacked for the food they have no shame putting out to paying public.
Ordered onion rings that we couldn't eat as dark brown and overcooked or reheated several times that you'd break a tooth.
Gammon steak came drowned in a plate of oil and wasn't edible. The chips were undercooked.
We were advised by other campers to avoid the chip shop also as that was worse.
We left disgusted and went to Berwick to eat. Thankfully there the cooks took pride in presentation and edible food.
Touring toilets very tired looking and desperately needs modernising.
Ramps needed on pitches as not level.
EHU points look decades old.
The Park states dog friendly but only place we could get the dogs in was a corner in the Mash & Barrel.
Kiln park Tenby dirty caravans
The cleanliness at kiln park Tenby was shocking there was food all under sofas when we went to pull out the bed chips drinks McDonald’s . The mattresses in van were mortifying the blinds were thick with dust , the bathroom smelt really bad of urine under beds in the bedrooms dirty used pjs and balloons totally shocking to be honest

NEVER AGAIN!!
NEVER AGAIN!!! CHURCH FARM - PAGHAM
After coming here with my family for 20 years, we had the most frightening and horrible experience.
We were put next to a vile family for the week, swearing and shouting. Kids OUT OF CONTROL they woke us at 5am each morning. We called security 17 times. Nothing was done. On the last day our caravan was attacked at 5am, they were banging on it and all around it. They emptied their bins on our two vehicles and called me discusting names to which my 7 year old son heard. He was terrified, crying and shaking. I called emergency help with security and screamed for them to come. 22 minutes later they wandered up - the family had left. WE WERE UNSAFE AND PHYSICALLY ATTACKED!!! We endured this all week and l had a feeling there would be a culmination on the final day - l was right. I have since written asking for a refund of the £650 as they couldn't move us due to the park being full but what they should of done is ask the nasty family to leave - but they did nothing! Just got a letter back from Adam the Manager at Church saying sorry for what you experienced but it wasn't sufficient enough to ask that family to leave!! I am fuming! So what is sufficient? Being frightened? You son hearing you constantly being called a c...t? Having your vehicles damaged? Being verbally attacked? Being woken at 5am having your caravan kicked? Being scared? Would more than 5 days suffice???? Awful place! If you reply.... sort this out with a fair resolution. I have records of my phone calls to security, l have photographic evidence aswell. I should be treated fairly after being a patron of Church Farm for 20 years - discusting treatment! They just want to cling on to their £650 l paid whilst 7 people's holiday was utterly ruined!! You'd have made much more money out of me in the future if you'd have treated me with the dignity and respect of a decent letter. Rather than the cop out letter l received. Utterly poorly written and bodged together. Church Farm be ASHAMED of yourselves. DO NOT BOOK this place - family's and their safety comes second to money!
Agony in the torture chamber at Haggerston
We arrived on time at Haggerston Castle. Our arrival band was 1600 to 1700 hours. Our caravan was stated not to be ready. We waited in our car until 1700 and then went and found our designated caravan. A cleaner in the van next door said our van was ready. We entered, it had been sealed and marked ready for occupation. Outside there were lots of cigarette butts and a used syringe. In side the whole aspect was worn out and dingy. Pieces of fascia were missing. The kettle lid kept popping open spilling boiling water on the user. The seat smelled of sweat, and dogs. We had no key and I went to collect one, as a got back another holiday maker turned up asking if I had their key as we had theirs. We did not have theirs, or indeed any key until I went and collected it. The first night we were very uncomfortable and my wife had to get up and use a single in another room. Next morning she could hardly move with a bad back. I lifted the mattress and discovered four wooden lats were missing so that part of the mattress was on the floor. There were dog paw and nose marks on the glass door and windows. The heating would not come on. I approached a cleaner who came and banged the gas cannister with a spanner. He said it was empty, we froze for two days and then gave up and went home. The worst experience of my entire holidaying life. I wrote a long letter to Bourne Holidays the mother company but I received no reply. They should be closed down, their adverts are verging on trades description offences and their vans would fail Health and Safety regulations if the workers had to live there....which we know their cleaners actually do.
Worst customer service ever!
Unable to go on our holiday due to a close family member receiving end of life care. I tried to cancel within the 70 days using the online form. By the time I received a response… I was told I wasn’t eligible for any kind of refund😡 I could only move the dates as the person who was dying wasn’t on the booking!! 😡😡 When I phoned to complain, I was told I had to claim on my own insurance. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! Shame on you Haven holidays!!!
