I purchased a Helix Flat turtle earring for my wife as an anniversary gift in August 2025. In May of 2026, the turtle earring I purchased broke apart. We immediately emailed the company and informed them of the issue. We also provided photos of the damage. I explained that I was aware of their 30-day window for quality concerns. I also explained that I bought this product expecting the high-quality craftsmanship for which Rowan is known. Since the jewelry broke within its first year of use, it's clear that this piece had a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. To my surprise, Rowan stated that, due to the purchase timeframe, they were unable to replace the item because it fell outside the 30-day coverage window. I was told to purchase a new earring. I was not given any other choice. I was expecting savvy customer service and a fair solution to my issue. Instead, I received a cold, unempathetic response. I am hugely disappointed and will not be doing business with this company in the future.

I made the mistake of walking into this store. I had no intention of purchasing anything, just wanted to look. I managed to let myself get talked into 2 piercings and 2 pairs of earrings. Total cost including tip was $805. When I went to check out, the store's POS software suggested a tip of 15%, 18% or 20%. I picked 18% thinking I was tipping on the piercing service which was $70. I looked at my receipt after I left the mall and saw I had tipped on the piercing, the earrings and the tax. I left $116. I called the store and they refunded me the tip money right away. That was the first questionable underhanded thing that happened. Then I looked at my new piercings and they were way too close together for the size of the earrings. I was very unhappy with the piercing placement. I asked to return them which of course they said no. So I have $646 worth of earrings I cannot wear or return. This business sleazy. They offered to sterilize the earrings & re-pierce my ear. But they cannot be returned and sterilized. I said thanks but no thanks. Don't trust them!!!!!!
