I gave Hobby Warehouse a 2nd go as they seem to have good rating here.
After 2 weeks the item has not shipped and they cannot tell me when it will, despite the item being listed as In Stock.

They also expect customers to wait 10+ business days for a refund (But they take your money instantly)

I will never use this company again.

I purchased the HSP 94107-88802 Fury 2.4GHz 4WD Off Road RTR 1/10 Scale RC Buggy. Car arrived ready to run after charging. It's plenty fast for a 10YO beginner and the component quality exceeded my expectations. Two things I wish I had known before purchase:
1) the run time of this car with a 2000mAH NIMH pack is about 6-8 mins which is over pretty quick. If I had known I would have bought a second pack. Now my son has to pay postage again to buy a 2nd pack.
2) the instructions are not specific to that car (generic about many models like nitro engine etc). The ONE thing I needed to know to begin was not in the instructions!: How long do I charge the battery pack? I found a website calculator that says full charge time is 4.8 hrs (with 500 mA charger). So, I've been charging for 5 hours which brings the voltage to 8.4 V on my DMM. I think this is right?

I recently purchased a Skyrc Imax B6v2 AC from Hobby Warehouse via Ebay.

I am very happy with the product and the delivery service provided by Hobby Warehouse and hope to deal with them again.

I ordered a present for my Daughters birthday and we are now 2 weeks from the order being processed and it still hasn't been dispatched. The item was in stock and the I paid for shipping. After enquiring the reason they gave me was "Every order is different and some do take longer than others to pick and pack." A skateboard in-stock takes longer to pick and pack? This is a generic scripted response with no customer service attributes.

Hobby Warehouse did offer a refund but I think after waiting two weeks and my daughters birthday is in 3 days it's absolutely pointless as nowhere else will not get it delivered on time... I'll just have to wait and let her know.
