Highly dissatisfied with a recent…Unfulfilled Order & Lack of Customer Support – Immediate Attention Required
Highly dissatisfied with a recent multi-unit purchase made on behalf of a university. It has now been over a week since the order was placed, and there has been no shipment, delivery update, or confirmation beyond the initial transaction.
Despite multiple attempts to seek clarification, including email outreach to support team, I have received no response. Additionally, there appears to be no available customer service phone number or live support option, which is highly concerning given the scale and institutional nature of this purchase.
This lack of communication and fulfillment is unacceptable, particularly when coordinating for a university with time-sensitive needs and operational expectations. At minimum, I would expect timely updates, transparent communication, and accessible support channels.

Response times from their team was quick and professional, as we were able to schedule a meeting to efficiently identify which product my business needed. I own a music and lighting business and I ended up purchasing a couple of the 25.6" HDMI fans that were delivered in about 7 days.
I was hesitant at first after looking at these reviews, but after reaching out directly I am extremely satisfied with the products and services provided. I will definitely be purchasing again and will be recommending their products to my clients and peers.
Great Experience!
I purchased a 25" Holofan for one of my company's trade show for this upcoming month for marketing purposes. From the day I ordered it was delivered in just 3 days, which gave me ample amount of time to test before the trade show. the product was very easy to use and straight forward and I was able to upload my logo and products easily. At the event, it caught many eyes and I would recommend this product if you are looking to get attention.
STAY AWAY!
I hope is that someone reads these reviews before making a purchase or engaging with this company in any way. We have purchased several units from them now and the communication and support has not only been awful but has cost us business. This is more or less someone bringing in basic level equipment from China, marking up a ridiculous amount and then supplying no customer support. User manuals are all incoherent and as many people in these reviews have said they completely disappear after giving them your money. Stay away!

Do not recommend.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I purchased a hologram fan from Holofan Co, and it arrived faulty right out of the box. I reached out to their customer service immediately (Devin from there team) , and at first, they seemed responsive and promised a replacement.
That was weeks ago.
Since then, it's been nothing but delays, excuses, and broken promises. Every time I follow up, I'm told it's “being processed” or “will be shipped soon,” but nothing ever arrives. I'm now left with a non-working product and no real resolution in sight. (Brandon and Devin giving false promises)
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. A company is only as good as its customer service — and sadly, Holofan Co has failed on that front. I do not recommend buying from them unless you're okay with gambling on defective products and poor follow-up.

Poor Support
While my previous experience with ordering a fan was simplistic over a year ago, something has dramatically changed since purchasing an additional fan on June 9th.
Shipment was delayed by over a week and a tracking number was never received. When the fan finally arrived, the protective case no longer provided a way in which to access the SD card to switch out animations as we have custom designs for which we upload and the files are very large.
After reporting this I waited another week for a response to my request to have another fan sent that had the access on the casing and was informed that they don't make the casing with access anymore and to just use the app.
As stipulated, the files I use are massive and trying to transfer from my desktop to my mobile device is not possible.
Additionally, the app never worked for me before, couldn't even get my iPhone to connect to the fan, and this time round was no different.
I sent screenshots of the issues occurred and yet to no avail.
I've already missed one tradeshow that this product was supposed to be used for and am now going to miss the other as I've asked for help but receive no answer.
It's been over a month since my purchase and I've asked for a refund, but all I'm getting is crickets. Which is of no surprise as I believe they're attempting to drag out communications so that the refund window closes.
While the product does serve well for promotions (hence buying a 2nd one), the fact that they've changed how the fan can be programmed, no longer meets my needs and support is not giving me a solution to my problem other than telling me to use the app, which doesn't work and is also shady and asking to have access to all sorts of unnecessary things on my mobile device.
I will not be purchasing again as a result of these issues as they could've simply resolved by sending me a fan without a cover as that would've been a solution, but instead they'd rather have no solution other make me wait several days for a response and than tell me to use their app.

Setup anywhere fast
We've used this at outdoor markets and indoor conventions with equally impressive results. The whole system goes from packed to running in about 5 minutes which is crucial when you're paying by the hour for setup time.
No tech skills needed
I'm usually terrible with new technology but the HOLOFAN app is surprisingly intuitive. Changed our display content mid-event without needing to call our IT person.

Delivery was quick. Set up / upload / operation - seamless and flawless. Very happy with this purchase. Everything you are looking for in a product and supplier.
Fast delivery but packaging was plain
My order arrived in just 3 days, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the packaging was pretty basic, and I expected something a bit nicer for the price. Overall, happy with how fast it came.
Could use stronger materials
The fan works perfectly, but the casing feels a little flimsy. I’d feel better if it had more weight to it.
Great for modern art displays
I created an abstract hologram series, and the feedback has been overwhelming. People can’t stop asking how it’s done.

This company is bad all around. We bought 5 products from them. 2 came broken, one came 2 months late, and they have completely ghosted us both on sales and support. Very very sad to learn how bad they are, we were so excited to roll these out across the office!

Not happy with experience so far.
I purchased their Holototem on June 25th and finally received it on July 23rd. Apparently they were having some issues with their fulfillment partner. I contacted them 4 different times and each time was told, "It will ship in 1 to 2 days." Each time that was a lie.
When I finally received the unit, I followed the included instructions, but the Android app (3D.H) would not detect the unit. I reached out to support, but didn't hear back right away. I decided to do some hunting online and was able to find an app (Holoscope) provided by the manufacturer of the fan unit itself. I was able to get that app working. I did hear back from Holofanco's support and they pointed me to the same app I had already located. I'm not sure why they included a different app in their instructions.
I also paid the $5 for access to the "Premium" 3D library, but found only a handful of videos and they were all anime themed, which doesn't really work for my usage. I'm sure they would be great for someone else. The free collection listed in the instructions has far more art included and a much more broad selection as well.
The unit itself seems to work well and the pole and battery grip are nice. It is missing some features that their main competitor has though; remote control, hidden power cable, silicone shroud protector. The LEDs are super bright and the refresh rate seems good for most basic animations. I have a festival coming up, so we'll see how it holds up in the real world.
I will say that Devin (chat Support) has been very polite and helpful. Sadly, it appears that the rest of the operation leaves something to be desired.

It was late arriving by about a week. software doesn't work on the fan. the email for assistance doesn't work - you have to Chat with them which gets you absolutely nowhere if you don't sit by your computer waiting for an answer to your question. Will be requesting a refund through Paypal. Don't waste your time or your money on this hologram fan.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from holofanco. I ordered a product that ended up not working out for my needs, and I attempted to return it. The lack of communication from the company has been astonishing. No one was available to receive the return package, and it was sent back to me.
This has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the product cost over $500 and was a work expense. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with their customer service, but to no avail.
The lack of response and support is unacceptable. I need a refund for this product, and I expected a much higher level of service from a company of this caliber. I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from holofanco.
