I found Household Capital were extremely helpful and responsive. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS MADE RELATIVELY EASY DUE TO THE COMPANY PROVIDING A LIAISON PERSON TO ASSIST WITH THE TRANSACTION -- OUR PERSON WAS FIONA NAVARRO WHO GUIDED US THROUGH ALL ASPECTS OF THE AGREEMENT , SHE WAS CONVERSANT WITH THE COMPANY REQUIREMENTS ,VERY HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE TO US --RESULTING IN A GOOD OUTCOME . Very disappointed with the service provided this time. After 2 days and still no credit on my account I had to phone twice to have it actioned.

I cannot speak too highly of the service I received from Household Capital. Speedy, efficient, courteous and friendly at all times. Questions answered and information supplied even of some things I would not have thought of. They lifted me from to despair to hope for my future and I cannot thank them enough.
Anyone needing to negotiate finance to make the latter years of their life possible this is the company to go to.

From the very first phone call with Sam I felt I was in safe and caring hands. He arranged for me to speak with Fiona who from the start I felt I was talking with a friend. It seemed that I could ask anything, although some questions were I guess quite silly , I did not feel afraid to ask them. She was very patient and very encouraging as this was quite nerve racking wondering if I was doing the right thing. I must say I have done the right thing as a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can start living my life again without any stress.

Fiona and the Household Capital team are great. I, as an age pensioner, was stuck in an endlessly increasing LOC (line of credit) and card debt, and no banks would help me, even though I had $500,000 equity in my home. I have been able to get a loan repayable when either I die, or sell the house, that requires no set repayments. It also has a very low interest rate compared to the cards. Now I can use my income to remove debt completely instead of keeping the banks afloat by paying $13000 pa in interest and never paying down debt. I can now sleep at night and do not have to keep selling my assets for next to nothing to make ends meet.

Fiona was a great person to deal with. Understanding of our circumstances and looked after us. Since joining we have been very happy with the service offered and the simplicity of their website. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because before joining we were of the belief that the "loan" would be greater than the eventual loan we received. This was a concern but we were able to manage around it.

Our association with the personnel of Household Capital has been extremely informative, helpful, pleasant, friendly and satisfying.
The staff have been almost like family and have guided us through the process of the necessary forms, legal matters, valuations and procedures without any arduous or gruelling worries.
This concept has allowed us to utilise the equity laying dormant in our residential property without having to worry about out-laying large amounts every month now our income is considerable reduced in our retirement. It gives us the freedom to repay as and when we can, or, when we finally leave our home, whichever way that may be.
This services to the "Seniors" of Australia is quite unique and is ingenious in its conception.

My only regret is that I didn't contact Household Capital P/L ten years ago. I found them all competent, straightforward, easy to talk to, easy to understand.
I was advised of the time it might take to accomplish my financial goal and always felt that they were being completely honest with me. Not being a "figures" person, I was still able to understand what was possible and what was not. I would truly advise anyone wishing to get sound advice on the subject of household equity to contact them first as I am sure you will be completely satisfied.
