House Sitters was recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. I was nervous and unsure about the site at first but receiving a phone call from the staff reassured me. The process was simple and I had a great experience where my house and pets were well looked after for 2 weeks while I was overseas.

Plentiful photos for sitters to look at. Good subheadings where owners are prompted to give lots of information. Good to see the review section. Easy website to manoeuvre. Good notifications.

What a great experience we had with our first experience using a house sitter! The Housesitting Company was easy to use, and professional from the get go. The website was clear, and we were able to post our sit with ease. One of the best things we found was the personal service and follow up phone call after posting our sit. As it was the first time we used a house sitter, we were a bit nervous about the whole process, but the call I had from The Housesitting Company put my mind at ease, and was great to chat to a human being, rather than just an online process. The team managed to find us a sitter, and we couldn't have been happier. The process to interview the sitter and choose was very easy, and clear what you needed to do at each stage. We were nervous about sitters letting us down at the last minute, but we needn't have worried. Everything went really smoothly, and we were able to have a relaxing holiday and switch off completely. I will definitely be using The Housesitting Company for our next holiday, and have already recommended them to friends and family.

This was our first time using The Housesitting Company. There is a cost to their services, unlike the previous company we used, however we had some less than satisfactory experiences elsewhere whereas the sitters we got through HC were excellent. We will be using HC next time we need a housesitter.
