Very Poor customer service
Returned (July 2022) Beldray Airgility Max Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, as was faulty.
contacted Ideal world customer services. Various excuses, They Advised they received the Item Back but, they cannot find the item in the warehouse, can you send proof of posting, we will get the retailer to refund, and we will get the manager to call you back (still waiting)
It is October 2022 and I have not received a refund

I recently ordered 2 smart ceramic heaters from this company, with a capped p&p of £3.99 per order. At present, only one has arrived but the p&p is £3.99 per item.

I have taken the issue up with Ideal World, but they are going out of their way to argue with me. I have even suggested that they look at their own TV footage, where the sales person states that "even if you order 10 of these, the p&p is £3.99". It would appear that they would rather lose a good customer, than back down and admit an error.

The money now, is not the main issue, there is a principle at stake.

I ordered three things that came in a package, they cancelled one of them, it's like you can have a left sock and not the right sock. So cancelled the whole order, let's see if they do as instructed. Not ordering anything more from an inept company

Money taken out of my bank for item costing over £250 ordered19th Sept item not received spent 2 hrs on phone and was eventually told we had received it and had signed for it it took 2 hours for customer services to give us a tracking number which we found and there was a blurred photo of a something resembling a box against a fence with no visible address on it this photo had not been taken on our property and we have not signed for it emails are now going back and forth first an acceptance of complaint and then an email saying they had no knowledge of complaint 2 e mails from different people saying they would get back within 2 to 4 days promised return phone call still waiting I hope some of these people have a conscience this item was for my 94 year old mother who has the onset of dementia and has no central heating shame on ideal world We need that money refunded and will carry on fighting for it we are pensioners ourselves and cannot and will not let them get away with this we are told evri was the courier I have heard of responses from a man called mathew on this site are more helpful

Ideal World have refunded me for a recent Order that Evri managed to lose and which I placed online (comprising of 4 items), so I've upped my star rating from * to **. Regarding my most recent Order, however, comprising 2 Under Armour sportwear items, I now suspect that they've gone missing thanks to Evri (or maybe not, might be problems within Ideal World's despatching processes). The tracking information I viewed earlier via the link Ideal World sent me on Monday hasn't been updated from "We're expecting it". Unfortunately this is exactly the same thing that happened when eventually Ideal World told me my previously ordered items had been lost by their courier. Matthew: you've been helpfully responding to various reviews on this page - can you please look into this for me, as my emails to your Customer Services team are producing nil responses to me. Thanks.

Please be wary of trading through this company. I purchased a cordless vacuum cleaner in December 2021 which 5 months later no longer worked. After many emails they confirmed it was faulty but a replacement nor a refund could be offered as Ideal Shopping Direct had gone into administration. I am angry that my purchase was made to Ideal World which is trading and feel they have an obligation to refund my money. When I placed my order I had no way of knowing it would be directed to another company.

Recieved my oven happy , then i realised after opening the box , thoroughly scrutinise the contents ----- many parts were missing ,4 emails with no response ,4 phonecalls - at last i found a languge or a dialect that undurstood me --aftet over a week they wanted me to send it back !im due for a hip replacement in the next few weeks , the hassle they have given me beond belief !!!! i will never order expensive household items agan ----

Giving them only these stars as I’ve had good stuff from there usually true to size and happy with them only when they got an order wrong and to ill to take back as only 2 weeks you get but bought Osprey bags at 39.99 and wgat im annoyed about us reps giving impression bigger saying what you can get into it like mobile keys other and purse well you can’t my I. Mob 6 just squeezes into it and I cannot get a small purse in it looks different to the tv where appearance is bigger .. my opioion

Ordered a carpet washer, gave all my details but recieved no confirmation email. Just chased up the order to find out order does not exist. Help desk were of no use, and were quite rude. Have used this company in the past with no problems, but won't in future

I was told the third party had gone out of business so my warranty was void, avoid at all cost no matter how good the deal looks!!

Also lost nearly £450 !! They refused refund for Emma mattress. Bought in December 2021 sold from TV with 200 night no quibble guarantee. Returned in early July quote the company has gone into liquidation so no refund. Don’t give them your hard earned money. The still quote that there a credible company that have been around for years. They should be banned from ITV ! I’m now in debt they stole my money and they’ll steal yours to have contacted the courts bbc and tv watchdog to get them removed.😡

Purchased a watch in 2021 and faulty - manufacturer replaced - another faulty watch - tried to get refund from Ideal world but they have become another company so unable to give a refund - so they tell me to contact the administrator of the liquidation! Cop out - be very careful - they also refused to let me talk to a manager and they charge premium rates to call them!!

Update on previous review. No change! Almost 4 weeks since I placed order that was never delivered. Have informed them I wish the order cancelled and money refunded to me, this was 3 weeks ago.
They keep telling me to wait for a response after 2 working days and are seemingly refusing to refund my money. Isn’t this illegal? You can’t take money from customers to then not deliver goods and keep the money! Have reported to Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog and would encourage everyone else in a similar position to take action. There seems to be too many ideal world customers in similar situations.

Update on my last review. They put a message saying give us details and we will sort this out. Well- guess what !!! They haven’t . They are now saying they won’t repair phone that was under guarantee as they have gone bankrupt. Very strange as still selling on tv and online. I’ve been dealing with this on behalf of my mum who has had a stroke . Company is a joke !!! Guarantee not worth a thing when you have a problem. This has been going on since May and my poor mum is besides herself. She can’t afford to lose over £200 as a pensioner . Ideal world - you should be ashamed

Had a sliver cloud 6 person spar hot tub it was faulty so I sent it back asked for a replacement and ideal world said on the 15/08/2022 that I could have a replacement and they will send one out still not received nothing contacted there online chact numors times and also called up to ask where's my replacement as I haven't received it yet kept telling me to wait a couple of days sending same emails to me saying it's been escalated and gone to head office still nothing so I called up yesterday asking for a refund as this is not good enough I've been waiting for ages also I'll be contacting trade and standards about the issues I won't be ordering from ideal world again from now on the amount of stress it has caused me .

Ordered, money confirmation taken out, but product stayed in basket, they say use chat line, it doesn't work, emailed then told been forwarded to head office

Just watching them on tv now speaking 10ph trying to flog a low quality selfie Drone. Comparing their £160 Drone with 1k professional Drones to fool the uneducated buyer using their sales tactics. After seeing this, I wouldn’t buy a packet of peanuts from them.

Worst customer services i have ever found. They do not seem to understand anything. Will be taking them to small claims court to achieve satisfaction. Dont touch them with a barge pole.

i recently had a problem with an order getting lost i contacted customer care ideal world on the sunday and by monday everything was resolved i got a total refund on the tuesday i cant praise the team high enough everyone was so courteous anne
