Purchased watch December 19th 2021 for Christmas gift, watch not worn too often throughout the year but by September the leather strap starts coming apart! Tried calling Ideal World customer service for advice on warranty but couldn't get through. Eventually got round to emailing them with my details. Eventually got a response saying that the warranty didn't cover the strap, just the watch? I then replied to say about my consumer rights and a response came back telling me that they've went bankrupt in February 2022 and I had to write to admistrator regarding my claim? Apparently the business was sold and now running as Ideal World Ltd.
Totally disscusted so lots of people who purchased stuff upto 22nd February 2022 Apparently have no warranty cover! Nice the public are unaware as all we see is the channel operating as normal. SO BEWARE FOLKS!

Basically I lost my bank card, The bank issued a new one while waiting for my new card , the 2nd Flexi payment couldn't be taken. Nor could I pay on another card.
I tried calling customer services at 58 pence per minute and after 10 minutes I was cut off and told to call back later.
The company is a complete sham and should be taken off air. I'm going to write to the independent television authority.

Bought a Salter steam mop (don’t bother they should stick to making scales) the main adaptor component snapped within 5minutes of use which means can no longer use as a hand held, initial response was on, sent photos as requested, since then not a peel, no response to follow up emails, abound IW if you can as they have become terrible, zero quality, zero customer service

Beldray EH3214 700W Handy Plug In Heater plug this in for over 1 hour on top setting and it came out warm did nothing for the small room it was use for returned in the box it came in Rubbish don't waste your money

Wrote a review weeks and weeks ago about the postage being wrong on their clearance items should be £1 and being charged £3.99. The reply was they would tell customer services, well they must be sending a snail because it's just the same no wonder so many terrible reviews.

Took money from account back in September didn't recieve goods, called to see where it was to be told no order exists. Provided them with bank statement to show the money taken also sent them phone bill to show the call made to their number and they are saying I must have placed an order with somebody else. Bank statement clearly shows Ideal world and I know its them as I called to place the order. Still chasing this but looks like I'm getting nowhere, absolute con artists. BEWARE DO NOT SHOP WITH IDEAL WORLD!

How disgisting is this company they took my money from my account without me knowing..an agent rang me and said something about a discount book to send to me.I said ok i will have a look o never agreed on accepting a membership..i never knew this company worked with idealworld it was from living plus company..which i didnt know at the time i rang my bank and they told me £45 went out of my account so i thought it was fraud so the bank gave me £45 as they made inquires it wasnt fraud so now iv got to pay the bank the money iv recently lost my job..so moneys tight this company are disgusting....im telling you people out there if an agentecy ring you about a discount book from living plus DO NOT ACCEPT THERE BOOKLET they start taking money out of your account IM OUT OF pocket becouse of this company i WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AGAIN WITH THEM AGAIN THERE RUDE and FRAUDSTERS HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT I NEVER KNOW I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

Having recently tried to order items on Black Friday with free postage, I emailed IW and the reply said that I would get a reply in24 to 48 hours. The phone numbers are premium rate, so would have cost £1.05 per minute. Shame on you!!!!!

I brought a hot tub for my niece from ideal world on the 6/7/22 and on the 8/10/22 my niece told me that the pump wasn’t working. I contacted idea world and they said it wasn’t their problem and that I needed to call studio as they are the suppliers. I brought the hot tub from ideal world!! I have since received my phone bill and have realised that the call to ideal world cost me £25!! As I sit here today over 6 weeks after I first contacted ideal world nothing has been done. Today I contacted the citizens advice and trading standards office. My advice is don’t buy any expensive items from them. They will send you a faulty product and keep your money!!! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Have just received my h20e mop the parcel looked like it was resealed and no invoice in it the mop handle doesn't fit on properly was on the line to customer service service for ages (which I was paying for) said I could send it back at my expense as its a faulty item I'm not happy with this as I would also need to get proof man didn't rearly try and help at all has rearly put me of ordering of them again

I used to get payment reminder dates so I could the money to my current account. Now they take payments on diff days to what they should and if it don’t go through they bully you with threatening letters . Charge you £15 and they only provide a premium rate number to call them. When you do call and explain they do the same
Thing over again. I won’t be using their services ever again .

My bank changed my card from visa to Mastercard back in July. I updated all my online shopping accounts including ideal world. Since July their automated payment system has been unable to take my flexipay payments. No other company has had a problem just IW. I made a number of payments manually over the phone only to find when I received a letter from a debt recovery agency , that these payments had not been credited to my account. Now in November and still unable to make payments via my flexipay account. Customer service can’t seem to sort it out and have now stopped communicating with me. Ideal world CEO never replies to any communication. I am now taking matter up with trading standards and citizens Advice as well as relevant ombudsman to try to get a resolution. I have been offered £40 compensation which, when I refused was increased to £100 applied at £20 max per order. I have dealt with them for a few years now with no issues, but this is beyond a joke. I’m just waiting for the next letter to arrive from moorcroft debt recovery as yesterday once again my flexipay payments could not be taken.
Ideal world have admitted that their computer system is at fault but seem unable to fix it. NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED

I purchased the Swift battery garden in 2020 it has only been used approx 8- 10 times as we have others . The product is not durable as the handle has snapped on both sides and we can't get a replacement handle as the manufacturer has changed the design ( I wonder why) ideal world have no interest or help in resolving the faulty product as it is out of warranty disgraceful. I will not recommend buying anything mechanical from them as clearly they do not appraise the products fully

Wanted to change dilivery address .as soon as I had ordered because I had already bought 1 it assumed I wanted same.tried phoning cost me a fortune .3 e.mails .got through at 10 this morning ordered at 3 yesterday afternoon .No help at all said couldn't change .parcel will be to big for me on bus as is a present

Refers to the cop shop dept, friend placed order to be delivered to me, received text saying out for delivery, nothing arrived, now emailed ideal world several times who have said we will get back to you, i either want my mobile order or your thoughts so i can go to police with suspicion of fraud

Would I recommend IW, not on your life! I ordered goods from them which did not arrive. Emails and phone calls I thought had sorted it out, but they have taken another payment. So no goods still paying and broken promises. Keep away.

Have to complain about customer service.spent ages holding onto phone at13p a minute.once I spoke to a girl about an order that was taking too long I was put on on hold again for ages at 13p a minute and was told my order would be delivered next day.it never arrived.i then looked for a refund on a order that ideal world canceled.they refunded cost of item but didn't refund postage costs.after explaining that it was ideal world that canceled order and it was never sent.the girl said that she would refund postage which is getting worth less with the price of phone call.no refund yet.not happy.spent lots over the years.complaints not looked into properly.

Your customer service is crappie. Since August he has waited for a
Phone call from you. He has phoned and phoned. All we keep getting is ring back in 48 to72 hours. This has been going on since August. I would
not have given you a 1 star, but I had too. Joke

Shocking customer service. Trid to cancel an order over the phone took 30mins then told me he coul send an email to the warehouse. Still dispatched 2 days later.Not the first time I've had problems with stuff going missing. Won't use again
