Simon Treadwell has been our Financial Advisor for many years. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, trustworthy & efficient person especially in this climate of poor advice & the potential for scam companies. At least we never need to lose any sleep over one of the best decisions we’ve ever made regarding our financial security in our retirement years. We can certainly recommend Simon & his company Willson Grange to anyone looking for tailor made financial planning

Wilson Grange are friendly, helpful, professional, trustworthy and understanding financial advisors. I have dealt with Simon for many years and highly recommend his services.

Simon has offered an excellent service over the last couple of years. He made an effort to get to know us and understand our needs and has been both proactive and responsive throughout our dealings with him.

I invested in a Stocks and Shares ISA with this company and dealt with Simon Treadwell who was the financial advisor. I chose this company due to the recommendations from friends who had been customers with Willson Grange for years and were happy with the service they had been given. Unfortunately, my experience was different and resulted in a complaint being made which was escalated to the Ombudsman’s Office. After investigation by the Ombudsman my complaint was fully upheld. My advice to any future potential customers is to do your research on the company and check the backgrounds of the Directors and staff managing your money. Investigate other providers too to compare their profiles. For the fees that I was charged I felt that the service and monitoring of my portfolio was lacking. There were no clear quality assurance procedures in place which became evident as time went on to ensure they do the best for their clients.
It is interesting to note that whilst writing this review on Trust Pilot, there has been a flurry of reviews on Simon Treadwell since July 2025. It makes me wonder why, especially since there were no specific reports on this Financial Advisor before the publication of my Ombudsman’s Decision. It leads me to question whether these reports have been prompted. Make your own minds up.
