I absolutely love the InnerFrench podcast and eventually decided to purchase the Build a Strong Core course once I felt like I was at the appropriate level. I am so happy I did! This course felt like it was made for me - Hugo & team picked the exact topics that I struggle with and broke them down in easy to understand ways with a lot of targeted exercises for practice. I've gone through the course in its entirety and I plan to go back through the videos and exercises multiple times (you have access forever, including any updates made in the future). This course gave me much needed structure and I look forward to taking the other courses in the future

I think that this is one of the best, if not the best, course of its type for intermediate French students. I purchased the course a few years ago and learned a great deal. I have recently re-visited it for a bit of an update and still found it fresh and interesting. Some improvements have been made since my first go. Highly recommended.

Brilliantly made podcast and courses. Perfect for intermediates and, at this stage, the absolute go-to resource for an A2-B2 level student, even more advanced students too actually.

I immensely enjoy innerFrench podcasts, videos and courses. The content is interesting and off-the-beaten path plus presentations, videos, explanations are very enjoyable to watch / listen to. What I especially appreciate is the bite-size learning approach to the course design. Course activities are 5-15 minute long and are easy to complete during my day breaks without a fear that I won‘t have enough time. I often thought «I am just going to do this small exercise for 5 minutes» and then found myself sitting through 20-30 minute sessions daily. The content / exercises are not repetitive, there is a good variety in topics and exercise types. Overall, I have a feeling I am not only learning French but actually learning new things in French.

I learned about InnerFrench through the podcast, which helped me improve my French comprehension immensely in a pretty short time--in a very enjoyable way. That experience and some very positive reviews on Reddit convinced me to try the InnerFrench course Build a Strong Core. The class more than exceeded my expectations. It did a phenomenal job of identifying the things about French that are most difficult for intermediate French learners and breaking them down in a very straightforward, helpful way. I also loved how much I was able to learn about French/francophone culture during the course. Build a Strong Core is designed to be a 30-day course, and I can't believe how much I learned in 30 days. I am also taking an Alliance Française class right now, and I can say I feel like I made much faster progress in the InnerFrench class. I liked it so much I signed up for the next course in the sequence immediately. I also think the course was very affordable for what it provides.

I really enjoyed InnerFrench course and podcast in my language-learning journey. I feel like it helped me to gain a deeper appreciation for the French culture. You can really feel Hugo's genuine passion for the language in every lesson. I find topics of the lessons and the podcasts interesting and current, which makes learning a lot more pleasant and interesting.

Brilliant online language courses, podcasts and videos. I have done the Intermediate and Advanced courses and loved them. There is also a beginners course which is very popular. Hugo is genuinely dedicated to his language teaching and you really feel this. He also has a small efficient team supporting his work. The choice of subjects varies and is always current and interesting. Best of all, Hugo does it all in French (at the more advanced levels anyway - I don't know for sure about the beginners course.) Also, he speaks very clearly, but also occasionally introduces the viewer / listener to regional accents. If you want to learn French, and also you are an advanced French speaker, I can not recommend Innerfrench enough.

InnerFrench is the most interesting and original French teaching. Hugo Cotton creates an abundance of videos and podcasts (Le Cottongue Podcast) via YouTube for the general public. His topics concern contemporary cultural and political issues of modern life in France and elsewhere. In a clear resonant voice he speaks at a pace that is accessible to beginners as well as fluent French speakers—in fact many French people are in his audience! They listen because of the calibre of his content. And the actual course work (once you register) is equally compelling as well as reasonably priced. Bravo Hugo! Merci beaucoup.
