Sustainability should be reflected in practice, not just in marketing.
I asked to exchange completely unworn, tagged clothing for the exact same items in a larger size and offered to cover the postage, but Jamie Kay refused.
I’d purchased a size 1 dress well in advance for my daughter’s baptism next year, but after an unexpected growth spurt she has basically outgrown it at only 3 months old. :-(
What disappoints me most is that Jamie Kay promotes sustainability, reducing waste and keeping garments in use, yet their policy won’t facilitate a simple size exchange even when the garment is unused and tagged, the replacement size is in stock, and the customer is willing to pay the postage.
I’ve had almost exactly the same situation with another baby clothing brand after receiving newborn clothes as gifts. They happily exchanged them for larger sizes, with me simply covering the postage.
Sustainability feels much more meaningful when it’s reflected in how a business actually operates, rather than just being part of the messaging used to sell its products.

We understand how quickly little ones can grow, especially when purchasing ahead for a special occasion. As outlined in our returns policy, sale items are non-returnable, and change of mind returns are eligible for store credit only. In this case, the items were also outside our 21-day returns period. However, as the garments were in their original condition with tags attached, we were pleased to offer a one-time exception for their return in exchange for a store credit which was highlighted in our email response.
While we appreciate this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, we always aim to find a fair and reasonable solution within our policies where possible.
We wish you and your family all the very best for your daughter's upcoming baptism.
Wonderful customer service & Quality
I have been buying from Jamie Kay for over a year now, and have always had wonderful experiences with them. The quality of their clothing is great. I recently ordered some hair accessories that were not up to Jamie Kay's usual standard, I contacted them to ask for a replacement and before I had even woken up the following morning the team had replied and had dispatched a replacement to me. Wonderful customer service! Couldn't recommend this brand more.

Rubbish quality. Glitches galore and non-existent customer service
I am incredibly frustrated with my recent experience trying to use Jamie Kay’s current promotion. Their rewards system is completely glitching, preventing me from applying my points properly. When I reached out to customer support to point out the issue, I was met with zero actual assistance. Instead of looking into the technical glitch, customer service simply cut and pasted the exact same scripted response over and over again. Dealing with their support team feels like talking to a brick wall. It is incredibly disappointing to see a brand charge premium prices but offer such lazy, inflexible customer service when their own website fails to work.
To make matters worse, the clothing quality has plummeted. The fabric feels paper-thin and cheap, honestly mimicking the basic quality you would expect to find at Kmart, yet Jamie Kay still charges premium designer prices. It is incredibly disappointing to see a brand offer such low-quality garments alongside lazy, inflexible customer service when their own website fails to work.

This company is a scam. I ordered from them a dress it’s not even close to the website picture. Its is cheap see through fabric with no option to return. Such waste of money.

The item I purchased had a little fault (these things happen). I emailed the team to let them know and within a few hours they had replied and already sent out a replacement!

I recently purchased a few items and was honestly so impressed with the quality, especially considering how reasonable the prices are. Everything was beautiful and felt much more premium than I expected for the price.
I also had a small issue with one of the items and contacted customer service. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and quick to resolve the issue. They arranged a replacement right away and made the whole process completely hassle-free.
Great products, amazing value, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend this brand and will definitely be shopping with them again! ❤️

Jamie Kay is an absolutely phenomenal brand, from the quality of their clothes to their excellent customer service! It’s my trusted go -to for my toddler aswell as the mom’s in my friend group. I emailed customer Service and received an email back within hours reassuring me that my shipment was already being processed and would make it in time! What customer experience
The app and online shopping experience is incredibly glitchy. So much so I have incorrectly ordered sizes on several occasions and there is no recourse, they take no responsibility despite their platforms constantly resetting during a shopping experience.
Terrible customer service who hide behind their policies and remain incredibly inflexible. Damage to products, well you didn’t tell us in time, wrong size, well no returns or exchanges, no restocks no replies.
You have lost a customer.

I’ve purchased Jamie Kay clothing for years as a regular customer. I’ve never been given free items or discounts in exchange for a review.
With my most recent order the quality was noticeably worse. The fabric was thin and felt like tissue paper, nothing like the thicker, high-quality material I thought was their standard. The knits have gone downhill as well. They also cheapened the hardware: the buttons are now tiny plastic ones that make changing a wiggly baby frustrating and slow.
I used to recommend these pieces without hesitation. I’m not sure I can anymore unless the fabric and construction go back to what they used to be.

Someone commented on their Facebook page how very thin one of the models for their new extended size girls range, which was completely true. The comment was promptly removed. Which leads me to wonder of the authenticity of all reviews. Allow all the comments, and do better with your model selection. Set a good example for young girls.

Great Custom Service!
I recently received an order full of beautiful, quality pieces. There was a minor defect on one of the clothing items, so I emailed customer service with photos asking if I could initiate an exchange. They responded immediately to make it right. Not only are the products adorable and timeless, but I will for sure order again because of the commitment to quality that this business clearly displays!

I ordered about 10 or so items and one of them came in the wrong size, I emailed a photo to customer service and they (within the hour!!) immediately replied stating to keep the item as a one time courtesy to prevent me from having to go through the trouble of returning and I got immediate notification of the item being shipped in the correct size. Amazing customer service, have never experienced a remedy so quickly from anywhere before.
