Ordering was straight forward and our equipment arrived quickly and was well packaged.

Well having been let down by one shower of a catering supplier beginning with Ad (the one that comes up first when you search anything catering) and after waiting a month for a refund for goods not delivered, I started the search for other suppliers. Be aware that some companies including NextDay are drop shipping from the same Ad that I will never buy from again. However what I noticed was that pretty much every company have poor reviews primarily for their dispatch timing and their appalling customer service. But I was getting desperate and this company JD popped up, I searched the reviews but noted this was the only company that seemed to show real live stock info, so I took a punt with JD and I am glad I did.

I placed the order on Monday night well after closing hour. All emails received etc. Tuesday I didnt hear anything but Wenesday I got two parcel force notifications for two shipments sent on a 24hr express service that was giving me a 1 hour time slot for delivery - perfect.

Then Thursday I also then got another notification for a third package arriving that day.

All parts received in good condition, Great service from JD - so much so that I already have my next order ready to put in. I did not need to contact them in anyway - it was all how an online transaction should be. Thanks

I had to write something after reading the two previous reviews. We just received two sets of catering shelving from J D Catering Equipment and while there was a hiccup at the beginning we still got what we wanted at the very best price in the UK, even delivered to Shetland (which usually costs extra). The hiccup was ordering online, which is not as effective as it could be, there is no date given for delivery. I had to telephone (and spoke with Erica) to get that. The packaging was superb, however the tape used to seal both the ends wasn't and our postie had to rewrap those, so if you are reading this Erica please tell the packing department. Overall we are very satisfied and it was even cheaper than Amazon!

Pathetic company, I ordered online, nothing ever got delivered and no reply to emails. Do not under any circumstances use this company.

Ordered online and received an email confirmation that they were getting the order ready to ship. A month later and no delivery I followed up with this company to be told that the supplier didn't actually have any stock at any stage so they are unable to deliver. So product availability on the website and email confirmation both complete nonsense. I suspect that if I hadn't chased this they would be very happy to have taken my money and not done anything further.
