If you think this a reputable company think again. China based and they refuse to operate to UK trading standards. They will persistently try to force you to return goods, which by the way are nowhere near the sort of quality their sales site suggests, for meagre percentages of the rest of their dubious products or frighten you into thinking you have to return the goods to China. I doubt if you do you will ever receive any money back.

I'm adding my opinion that this company is totally unreliable and should be avoided at all costs and believe me it will cost you. Denying they ever received orders is about as low as you can go.

Worst company ever. They scam you out of your money. They have consistently lied across their entire website and if you have opted for a refund highly likely you would not recieve it.

Product fit for the bin - Chinese rubbish. NO refunds provided.

I ordered a long wool type winter coat from this company. It was nothing like it was advertised. It was so thin you could see through it, a paper bag would have provided more warmth. I tried to reach out to the company to get it returned and refunded but could not get hold of anyone and my emails were unanswered. This company is AWFUL, I will NEVER use them again.

I ordered a jacket for my husband, everything that other reviewers mention is totally correct. Incorrect sizing of garment, far too small, inferior cheap material. They offered for me to purchase another item from their website at £ 9.95 instead of returning the jacket. Why would anyone want to order more rubbish from a scam company. Advertised as a UK company when in fact you will need to return items to China at your cost ?? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!
Contact your bank to pursue a refund.

I recently purchased a coat from what I thought was a UK based company. Nowhere on their webpage does it mention that the product is being sent from China!! Their returns policy states that it is 30 day free return; however this is not the case!! I am trying to return the cost as it is too big and basically have been advised to get a full refund I will have to return the product to China incurring all the costs myself!!! Fuming!!! The website is extremely misleading and completely incorrect!!!

I don’t even want to give it one star. Definitely a scam. I had exactly the same experience as previous reviewer - the sweater I received was not the size it should have been according to their size chart. Poor quality as well. Would not refund it without me sending it to China or Netherlands ( which would cost £16) . Don’t believe what is says on the home page of their website regarding refunds and returns.

Everything that has been left as a review is absolutely correct. Its no use me saying exactly the same as everyone else. Absolutely disgraceful. Do not purchase from this scamming company.

Dont go near this website, paid £55 for a coat, came thin material and unlined. I contacted them offering me 70% store credit and keep coat or return, but I have to cover cost of postage. The address is Netherlands. But the return address on parcel is London. Why would I have credit when the quality of stuff are cheap & tacky.

I believe this is the same company now called Jones & Smith.

PERSONAL OPINION AND ADVICE: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU READ ALL THESE REVIEWS. THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAMMERS. 

The jumper I received was nothing like advertised. The quality was thin and scratchy and the sleeves were about 5 inches too short.

There were ZERO labels on the jumper or packaging. Nothing about the fabric composition or washing instructions.

UK law, primarily the Textile Products (Labelling and Fibre Composition) Regulations 2012, mandates that all textile clothing sold in the UK must have a durable, legible label stating its fibre content in English.


I emailed to ask about a refund as the item is not as described. I have not just changed my mind about the item, it is NOT as described and has NO labels and so I exercise my right to a refund - which they also state in their website as ‘30 days hassle-free returns’.

They will only give me a refund if I return the item at my own expense to China.

They have offered me various ’solutions’, none of which is suitable. I want a full refund and I do not expect to pay the return fee as the item is not as described. This is basic UK consumer law. ‘Solutions’ have included keeping the item but getting a new item which I can pay £9.95 for the postage of or I can keep the item and get a refund of 15% or Iatest, I can keep the item and get a 50% refund. NO. I want a FULL refund. NO labels and not as described = full refund and no shipping fees to return. 



They have a .co.uk website and a contact us UK address in Bognor Regis (which if you search on google maps is just a house on a residential street - odd for big clothing brand.)

I am initiating a chargeback through my credit card company. I know this will take longer but I will not admit defeat and accept their offers. I believe I am entitled to a full refund as the item does not look like or match the description.

This is a scam, do not buy from this website. The product quality is very poor and there is no way to return.

Complete scam. Do not go near this website. All looked good on their webpage, I bought a nice grey jacket from them for my wife's Christmas.

However, alarm bells ring when the jacket took 3 weeks to get here after leaving China. The jacket arrived. It looks nothing like what I ordered, far too small and the material feels like cheap plastic. I am furious, it cost me £60. I could never give it as a gift.

I have emailed the company and they have told me due to the complexity of international shipping and customs returns are impossible so I am best to pay £9.99 and pick something else. I will report them, this website needs shut down. Raging.

Rubbish quality and return address is in China (despite the UK address as their location on their website). When i asked for a refund they suggested i spend another £9.95 for processing and I could order any item to the same value, instead of a refund (to save shipping costs etc.). No refund, rubbish goods.

Like the others have realised this is a shonky Chinese company masquerading as a UK retailer.
Shoes took 2 weeks to arrive.
Worst quality tat I've ever seen. Worth about £2, cost £40.
Also ordered size 13 men's. Received something like a size 9.
Just avoid avoid avoid.
Will be reporting to trading standards.

SCAM. PLEASE do not buy from these people. I bought a pair of boots ( looked lovely on the website) - after four weeks, they arrived from China. The cheapest, most tacky, foul smelling plastic boots you’ve ever seen. Then I was told a refund wasn’t possible, but I could choose another item instead! Please report to trading standards.

Now trading as jonesandsmith.co.uk different name, same shit. Paid £70 for something worth about £15 arrived via a slow boat from china, yes it fits so the sizing was right but no tags attached, no labels sewn in, very poor quality. Not worth the hassle or expense to try and send back, I think this is what they are counting on. It says pay by credit card as an option but when you try it refuses and asks for an alternative payment method, that should have been a red flag but we live and learn. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS

Do not order from this company it is a SCAM!! You won’t receive what you ordered and they will not allow you to return the item or give you a refund. The
company acts as if it’s a UK company but are trading from China. Illegitimate and Unethical. AVOID AT ALL COST
