i went to the durrington manor parade one went in with a rash thepharmacist would not look at it and gave me some cream that you were not meant to put on irritated skin which my rash was obviously irritatedso later on we called 111 to get some advice on the rash 111 listen to all my symptoms and told me I needed to go down to A&Eand I ended up having shingles so I am not happy with this place because they turned me away whilst I had shingles

I've been using Kamsons off and on for several years. I've always received an extremely high level of service. Today was no exception. Shania (I think I've recalled that correctly, and forgive my spelling,) was helpful, informative, friendly, and simply excellent.
But it's not just today, or just Shania. It's every single time, every single person. I apologise for not knowing all the staff names and usually I'm in and out in a hurry and a flurry, but the descriptions I've given apply to every staff member I've ever had contact with, and those descriptions are well deserved. I must have irritated these fine people here and there with my cluelessness or my flustered, off-beat demeanor, and yet they've always been ridiculously professional, plus so warm and helpful.
So although it was today's visit that prompted this review, it's actually an accumulation of remarkable service from a team of lovely people.
Of course, the front end staff get the best and worst of us mere mortals, so they'll be familiar with regular faces and personalities. Maintaining professionalism and friendliness so consistently must be difficult sometimes, but when a visit to the pharmacy can be such a pleasant experience you know somebody is getting it right. In this case it's everybody.
Impressive, and so this is a thank you.

I visited Kamson's at 2 Cobham Court, Haslemere Avenue, Mitcham this morning to pick up my medications.

Whilst there I was offered a Flu Jab (which I needed as I'm over 65) with no waiting which was done by the Pharmacist.

At the same time I was also able to ask him some questions I had about a medication that I would now be taking.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff who work there. They are always really nice and helpful and will always give advice if I have any questions about my medicines or the best way to take them

Delivery driver aggressively banging on front door and when asked not to bang so loud he was rude and aggressive. Then he reported to Kamsons that we had been rude to him and kamsons now refuse to deliver. Awful pharmacy. Will never use them again

I'm giving one star rating due to the fact I was charged for my prescription when I am exempt and the stupid person serving didn't read it even says It on the packaging patient is exempt if you can't do your job properly get a new job!

Too few tablets supplied yet again. Staff said they can only supply whole boxes , rubbish I'm often given medication in plain boxes . They obviously failed to read the request from my surgery .

Absolutely useless. Refused to give me an emergency multiple times EVEN THOUGH my GP has approved it. They don’t even give a proper reason. “You need to get approvel from 111” which I already had. 5 times in one day I was back and forth the drs and the pharmacy.

I get the sense of judgement from a particular pharmacist. Who, despite my personal mental problems, made me speak about them front of customers. I felt the judgment from him/the other customers. He didn’t really care, talking down to me. And made me feel like he was saying “oh well you deal with it”To be honest most of the staff don’t really seem to care and don’t seem to have a clue what they’re talking about. I’ve been lied to saying the go hasn’t approved it when they have. In response to me saying “oh so I’m left with no medication, I’m screwed” a staff member whcih responded with “pretty much”

It’s not their place to judge, it’s their job to provide the medication. THATS IT! But it just seems as though this place like to have the hold over people.

You can tell that most of them (the permit with glasses in particular” has never ever ever experienced anything to do with mental health in his life. Sitting on his high horse,aiming decisions that aren’t his to make.

Every single month for like 3 years straight there will be 3-5 day period where I’m left without medication, and I feel like I’m losing my mind. Going though hell with Kamasons only to get absolutely not help what so ever from them. It’s now just part of my rousin which is absolutely disgusting. I get so much anxiety when I’m on my last few meds because I know for a fact that I’m going to go though it again and again and again.

They’re supposed to be helping me, not acting acting as if I’m being a burden. Whcih is 100% how I’m made to feel every single time I go in there.

If I could rate this joke of a place a minus zero, I would. There probably about 3/4 actual helpful human beings that work there. Unfortunately they only work the tills. And for some reason they have an utterly disgusting team of pharmacists that seem to get a thrill out of people suffering. Do they not realise that they can be the very line that tips someone like me over the line edge and cause my to do something stupid. ALL BECAUSE THEY’RE STRAIGHT REFUSING TO GIVE OUT Emergency meds. Which again, is for the doctor to decide if I should be taking them or not. NOT SOME RANDOM JUDGMENTAL NON LIFE EXPERIENCED poor excuse of a “pharmacist” it’s not his place.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE if you’re in a mental health emergency. Because they end being the one sailing your mental health worse for about 3/5 days every month.

Absolutely disgusting.
Even the lad in working behind the desk in the doctors was shocked/confused/appalled by the way that they’re been treating me.

This review of one star is for this morning as normally the staff are pleasant and really helpful.
Unfortunately the girl who served me today gave me my prescription short of another package. When I asked where the other package was she said that’s all there is. I was about to call the doctors to check but thought I’d ask politely for her to check, she found the missing package and told me it was at the back!!!
No apology and no goodbye and I think she simply didn’t care.Fortunately it wasn’t a more serious medication and didn’t have far to travel!

Received my annual flu vaccination Monday, everything handled well from the moment I entered. It is a very busy pharmacy, the staff were efficient and friendly. The pharmacist was friendly and the vaccination went well
I will use again.

I’ve never had a bad experience with anything I’ve ever needed this pharmacy for, the staff and customer service has always been fantastic, helpful & friendly!

My doctor changed my antibiotics to another one. I’m suffering right now as the Lymphoedema I have in my legs is swollen so I asked if Kamsons Pharmacy at St.Stephen’s Ashford could deliver them to me.
The guy on the phone took my name and said they are going straight out to you.
Five minutes later, knock at the door and it was my tablets.
Thank you Kamsons for your outstanding service.

Approachable, Professional, Knowledgeable, Friendly, quick and easy service.
The pharmacist took his time and asked lots of questions and really listened to my daughters answers. He gave us lots of advice on how to help my daughter with her symptoms.
I also had the opportunity to ask for advice on another medical matter without feeling like I was being rushed.
For any services they offer, I will always choose this as my first point of call when I need medical advice.
Absolutely Brilliant!

Kampsons Whitehawk Road are excellent - always helpful, supportive and professional. nothing is to much - even when the pharmacy is busy.

Another new member of staff, another circus act. A long wait!! This chemist really has gone down hill since ken left. Avoid if you want prompt service

When I needed a prescription getting for me as my husband went into hospital and the hospital kept his medication they were amazing Thankyou so much much especially to Aisha who went above and beyond to help me with this .

What an absolute pleasure to have queries answered telephonically. My call, on a busy Friday morning, was taken by Hannah who very aptly confirmed her advice given was correct. I started my weight loss journey in April 2026. And I was seen by Helen at the new Milton pharmacy. Her professional manner and detailed explanation of how to manage weight loss alongside injection was exemplar. It is now September 2026 and I have reached my goal weight coming down from 93.6 kg to 94.1 kg within five months. I believe the greatest success was Helen explaining how to change your diet so that you can maintain that loss beyond the injection. Thank you, Kamsons. This has changed my life.
