Amazing and educational experience
I have been working with Becky for nine weeks now and in that time, I have been amazed with the dedication to helping me achieve my fitness goals. With playing football at a high-level and already having a busy schedule I wanted to get specialised support to achieve my fitness goals whilst still making sure I was eating enough to have the energy for football.
Previously, I always thought that I’d have to eat low calorie, boring meals of chicken and rice, being hungry still have no nice snacks or foods in order to achieve any substantial weight loss which ended up in me giving up because it wasn’t sustainable.
I’m so glad that I joined and have been mentored by Becky. Because I’m not only have been able to perform at my best for football whilst continuing eat the food I love but in a more balance way, I am doing exercises that I enjoy and I have been so happy with the results so far over the last 9 weeks.
My fitness journey has been fantastic and I’m so excited to continue achieving my goals working with Becky!

I worked with Katie over a couple of months as I had hit a plateau with my weight loss, and my mindset on exercise and my diet wasn't the best. Katie helped me realise that adopting a balanced diet rather than an 'all or nothing' approach would be far more sustainable and help me achieve my goals. This mindset shift was huge! Katie gave lots of amazing, delicious recipes that made me realise I could eat all the foods I love. Throughout, Katie was so supportive and provided both gym and at-home workouts. Nothing was ever too much and I often sent screenshots of my food diaries so that Katie could support me further in suggesting small tweaks.The weekly check-ins were great to share how the week had gone, any changes coming up and successes that week. Katie's video replies to the check-ins were always really supportive.
Katie is well worth investing in as the education she provides you is invaluable.
Commit to the process & see the results!
I've been working with Katie and Becky since October and it has been one of the best experiences I've pushed myself to do. I get married in September 2024 and last year I wanted to change the way I felt about my body and overall fitness. In the past 4 months, I have begun to love my body and enjoy the process, understanding that consistency and preparation are key to seeing results! I have had none stop support, including training for a 10km race at the start of January, that without the updated program routine, I don't think I would've been able to hit a PB of 56:34! What I am saying is, this choice is a commitment, but one you'd wished you had started long ago! I have full faith in the coaching I receive that I will walk down the aisle feeling my most amazing self, all thanks to Katie and Becky!

Katie is a very nice person and a great coach! After an initial call, she has prepared a programme made specifically for me and my goals. She was always available whenever I had a question and the weekly check-ins helped to keep me motivated.

Katie & Becky have been incredible! I've been working with them since the beginning of October and so far I'm ~7kg down, building strength and massively improving my rugby performance! If you're unsure about joining them, absolutely go for it, invest in yourself and you absolutely won't regret it!

I've been working with Katie for 8 weeks now and I'm so happy I started her coaching when I did, instead of leaving it for the new year.
Before I joined I was struggling with motivation and my goals felt too much to be achieved. Katie helped me to redefine those goals, make them smarter, and gave me a clear plan of action to work with. In the last couple of months not only my body has changed (I never thought I'd be losing 3kg in the build up to Christmas), but also my fitness and energy levels have improved and my mindset has shift. That's the result of a well tailored nutrition and workout programme, and great coaching skills that get you going and make you improve even when it feels tough. I started with Katie at the end of Spring and committed to 6 months of training and coaching. Initially my aim was weight loss but I quickly realised it was more about my mind set. I always had a bad relationship with food, constantly switching diets and reducing calories drastically but never really getting anywhere. Katie transformed the way I think. I’ve never felt better about the way I feel, not just physically but emotionally too. I see food now as fuel and never deny myself food, I love food too much, but it’s more about making better choice. In total I lost just over a stone and dropped 2 dress sizes. The weight was always my main goal but I’ve realised with Katie, the measurements are more important to me, and actual the scale weight changes so much yet my measurements were still coming down. Katie has a wonderful training programme tailored to each individual and food plans too. Weekly checkins really kept me on track and I loved sharing my progress each week.
I had weeks where I lost motivation and felt like I was failing, but Katie always made sure I kept positive and remained focused on my end goal.
I’ve now finished my 6 month programme but it’s honestly changed my life and I’m looking forward to continuing on my own in the new year!

You won’t regret starting your journey here! I came to Katie thinking that I was reasonably healthy and that I had just gained some weight that was difficult to shift. I was full of excuses to not try harder.
What have I learnt? Those excuses were just my own mental barriers and it’s actually not that hard. I’m eating more than I ever have and enjoying my food. Tracking what I’m eating and being more mindful is just second nature now. Not once have I felt restricted or like I’m on a diet.
Exercise has become enjoyable, and I t’s so exciting to see results physically too.
Most of all I know and have an understanding that consistency is key but small changes are a win! I’ve lost over 5kg and the lightest I’ve been in ages, but I feel strong, more toned and starting to feel proud of the body that I’m in!
The best I’ve felt in a long time
I’ve been working with Becky since February 2023 now to December 2023 I am 11kg down and feeling the best I’ve felt. I used to always think I couldn’t lose weight and hated the idea of going to the gym but now the proof is there I can and will keep pushing, I now also enjoy going to the gym and the way it makes me feel ♥️ cannot thank Becky and Katie enough for helping me through everything.
Incredible coach and person!
I honestly don’t know where to start! I’ve worked with Katie for 2.5 years and I’ve changed both physically and mentally! She’s an incredible person, not only your coach but a true friend too. When I first joined KJcoaching in 2021 I was underweight and overtraining, which wasn’t healthy but as the months went on my relationship with myself changed. It wasn’t easy and it took me about a year in a surplus to get to a healthy weight and a good space with training too!
Fast forward to February 2022 I booked a photoshoot with her and I was amazed at how much muscle I had built and how much my mindset has changed, as I went through a transition of being in a surplus to a calorie deficit to achieve lower weight to see muscle definition. The photos were insane and I’m so glad I did it, I even considered doing another one!
Now in 2023 I am having my first baby 👶 (due 2024) and she has helped me within training throughout my pregnancy! I have the tools and the mindset now where I’m comfortable with however my body looks and where I am with food and training! I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without her help!
I am so sad to be finishing with her, as she’s been a massive part of my life the past 2.5 years, but I know she’s still there if I never needed anything!

I’ve been working with Katie for the last 4 months after working with her previously on an 8-week challenge, it was a no-brainer to go back. In my time working with Katie, I have grown in knowledge and confidence in training, tracking calories, mind-set, and that I don’t need to have an all or nothing approach. Katie is incredibly supportive and is available for advice and reassurance whenever it’s needed. She really takes the time each week to respond to check-ins with detailed feedback, I was never apprehensive to check in if I’d had a ‘bad’ day or week as I was always reassured and shown how to get right back on track. I feel so much more confident and comfortable in my clothes as we approach December, but more importantly for me, I feel happy and confident to approach the holidays knowing how to deal with the days and meals that I can’t track. I can’t thank Katie enough and highly recommend this programme.

Invest in yourself! Working with Katie has been life changing for me
In working with Katie for 2 years I gained such incredible and valuable knowledge, motivation and confidence. I was someone who always struggled to find an effective approach to fitness that worked for me and Katie demystified it all once I began working with her. I'm taking a sustainable approach to find workouts that worked for my lifestyle and a meal plan that supported my goals but also included foods I wanted to eat, I was able to build muscle and lose fat, all while living life and enjoying time out with friends. It's a balanced and achievable program, and both the physical and mental strength that came with working from Katie is immeasurable. Gone are my days of breaking down because I couldn't bear the way I looked and felt in a bathing suit or shorts. After working with Katie my focus shifted to appreciating the functionality of my newfound strength and appreciation for the aesthetic benefits that come along with it. I could go on and on but Katie is out here changing lives with her training and I'm so thankful to have found her!

being a coach myself, I know exactly what I was looking for in a coach & Katie has been that and more!
I was in the dumps with stress and complete overwhelm with life and business and I just needed someone to take charge for ME & that’s exactly what Katie did. The main goal was to lose fat & do a photoshoot for my business (and myself!) this year so we had a clear goal & vision to strive for. She made this fat loss phase feel so much calmer, she gave me accountability, and she was supportive and understanding when slip ups happened. She ensured that my mental well-being was a TOP priority over any aesthetic goal. Surprisingly, some coaches treat you like you’re a robot and box ticking machine but Katie treats you wholeheartedly like a person. The way she programmes, ensures our food is flexible and there’s no food rules, the way she works on your mindset & is willing to shift things in order to prioritise your overall well-being and not just your body. She educates you & is a shoulder to cry & scream on if you need it. Katie isn’t JUST a coach, she’s a friend & a cheerleader. It’s my time to move things in order to work on myself differently, but honestly, if I ever need a fitness coach again, Katie is the person that I’ll come back to. She’s been a dream to work with. Such a life changing experience!!
There will never be a day where I don’t appreciate Katie for all of the support and help throughout my journey. It’s safe to say I’m still in disbelief when I think back to this time 10 months ago. The transformation that has taken place has not only been positive physically, but mentally too!
I will never forget the shock after my first week, seeing that the scales had decreased by 2lbs. Little did I know that sticking at it would mean a total loss of 57lbs!! Having my own personal cheerleader to back me the whole way has been more than I could ever ask for.
Knowing that this isn’t even the end of my journey is the most exciting thing. I well and truly am so appreciative of everything that Katie has provided me with, unconditional support and an amazing programme that has changed me for the better!

I have tried everything in the past from weight loss plans/meetings, generic meal plans, online workouts, going to the gym myself not knowing what to really do both weight training and cardio wise. I never got the results I wanted, and even if I did lose weight i’d put it back on due to being too restrictive.
From the initial chat with Katie and subsequently working with Becky, they listened and took into account my goals, lifestyle, eating preferences etc to put together a personalised meal and workout plan. This meant it was achievable and I could stick to it.
I have eaten out, still gone to social events etc, but I now am able to make better decisions, and enjoy less nutritious food/drink in moderation.
If you put in the effort, follow the plans, listen to Becky/Katie (i have always checked in with Becky who has been fantastic and encouraging!), you will achieve the results you want.
I have gone from never wearing shorts, covering up on holiday, not buying bikinis to recently going on holiday down from a tight size 12 to a comfortable size 10, (loss of 7.2kg) feeling confident and happy wearing what I wanted. I went away able to eat/drink intuitively, not feeling that I restricted myself at all.
I have never felt this happy or confident about my body!
The best decision I ever made!
Before starting coaching I had always enjoyed being active and had done some different home and gym workout plans but they were generic and not specifically for me. I wanted to look strong and healthy and feel confident in my body and knew I needed to change my eating habits but I didn’t know where to start. In the past I would have cut carbs or fasted but it would just leave me with no energy and feeling grumpy.
I can’t believe the difference a few months of working with Katie and Becky has made! I have loved using their workouts and have made so many strength gains, especially in my upper body which I never thought was possible! I have lost just over 9kg without really noticing and still eating things that feel like a treat. It’s been life changing to learn how I can still eat food that is delicious and satisfying while also working towards my goals. Katie and Becky have been amazing with helping to navigate social events while still staying on track and I love their message of having a balanced life alongside your goals. Before joining Katie Nelson Coaching I was still carrying extra baby weight 4 years after having my youngest, I was going to the gym and running a few times a week I'd even had a personal trainer at the gym but I wasn't really seeing any progress.
The problem was I was stuck in a diet mentally so I was restricting calories and "bad" foods and ultimately binge eating and this wasn't healthy, my personal trainer didn't offer a meal plan and I had 1 session a week at a set time that wasn't flexible. I just wanted to lose the extra weight not even that much but I also wanted to tone my body up and I wanted to train to help my running.
I didn't feel confident in the gym as I wasn't sure what I was doing or if I was doing it right.
Since training with Katie and Becky I've lost weight and I've lost inches all over and my runs have massively improved and I feel much stronger. I feel so much more confident in my body and my mum tum has really shrunk
The app is amazing I get a full workout and meal plan with different workouts so it keeps it interesting, it's fully flexible I can go to the gym when it suits me and as many times as I want or can fit in, they've even incorporated my run training and included some knee strengthening exercises when I hurt my knee,
The meal plan is great and is tailored to what you enjoy eating and best of all its not restrictive im actually eating more calories now and I get to enjoy my favourite treats in moderation.
The weekly check ins really do keep you accountable and it's very personal and the girls are so lovely and encouraging, Becky has really helped me understand how to correctly fuel my body on my run or non run days, if I ever have a question or help with anything you can message them and they get back to you really quickly, and I can't believe I get all this for less money a month than I used to pay for 4 training sessions a month with an in gym trainer,

Amazing fitness coaching!
I started this programme as I was aiming to lose weight for my dads wedding. However, working with Becky has not only helped me reach my goals and see the strength that my body can have, but I have also gained confidence in the gym and have learned to love working out.
From the very beginning, I have had a plan which is unique to my needs and this is continually reviewed and updated. Becky has been so motivating, by keeping me accountable and on track, and making sure I meet my goals.
With Becky's support I have been able to develop a routine and live a healthier lifestyle. She is also very understanding when the check in doesn't go as planned one week, and gives great tips and advice.
Since starting I have never felt like I am on a diet, as the meal plans have always included some of my favourite things, chocolate, fruit, Oreo’s and biscoff!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the educational videos that Katie has shared, helping me understand how to live a healthier lifestyle, how to overcome barriers that may arise and how to have a balance with socialising, therefore, teaching me how to be able to continue independently.
This has definitely been the best thing that I have done in my fitness journey and has been a true investment.
I am feeling stronger, happier and more confident and could not have gotten this far without them!
