Paint came off in baby’s mouth!
Bought a set of lovely looking painted wooden toys. Within two weeks of minimal use the paint had noticeably chipped and i saw paint flakes on my daughters tongue. i immediately stopped use and contacted the seller for a refund. The seller refused on the grounds that the paint was non toxic and paint can chip when a child has teeth (my daughter does not have teeth yet!). The seller also recommended i supervise my child while using the toy, as if i hadn’t been doing that…I found that rather rude.
The response was pretty cold and rather misses the point that a quality product doesn’t chip in a couple of weeks and that no one wants to see paint flakes in their child’s mouth
I love supporting independent retailers and had recommended this site to my NCT group. i have withdrawn that recommendation now with a warning about my customer service experience.

Very very bad experience i had with this website. I paid 4.99 extra for fast delivery just because its a last option for birthday party . But they ruined it .. it was not delivered on time my party was over . And i was trying to contact them and its being 2 weeks now and i am still waiting for my postage back but they are not answering .. whoever read my comment don't order from them because this website is very unprofessional.. try to order from professional and authentic website

I am sorry to hear how you feel about your experience with our online store - we always strive to give a high level customer service.
Firstly, I have looked over your email correspondence with our advisor Kelly, and I can see that she has replied to your queries every time, whether it be via an email or the online contact form you have filled in. I can also see that you have been in receipt of our reply emails, as you have in turn responded too.
You paid £4.99 for a 2-4 working days service, and you have requested a refund as you did not receive it by the 3rd working day - at that point we did advise that the parcel is still within the timeframe and therefore the postage would not be refundable.
The parcel did eventually arrive a day late albeit arriving on Saturday and therefore not a working day late. We advised that the service is not guaranteed and therefore the postage is not refundable but we will be happy to offer a refund in goodwill if you are keeping the goods.
If you wish to discuss this further, you can respond to Kelly's latest email which was send this morning.

4 days and still didn't receive…
Four days and still didn't receive anything, although I paid 9.99£ for express shipping (1-2 working days). Now it's Friday, so I'll be waiting for two more days which equals 6 days in total. I think I deserve a refund for the express delivery charges. So now I’m lying? Just go and check this order number (KB236225BR), I paid 9.99£!! And the tracking number says it's (Royal Mail Tracking 24). I swear if it is not personal data I would share the tracking number so everyone can see the truth. I was going going to order plenty of educational games for my daughter but now, no thanks. By the way, I haven't sent any emails. This will be the last response. I bought the doll from you, not from Royal Mail, and I don't care if you gave it to them on Monday!! Even if I want to talk to them they said on their website you must contact the store you bought from and they will contact us. So let's summarise this, you charge 9.99£ for a tracked 24 by Royal Mail which is actually cheaper than that on their website, and secondly, you abdicate the responsibility of your customers’ shipment!! Finally, you ignored my request for a refund of the shipping cost which is a common gesture by any respected online store. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I just wanted this to arrive faster than Amazon otherwise I would never use your website. Please don't try to justify yourself anymore just do you job and contact the Royal Mail to deliver my shipment. Thank you.

Post came on time,
Great soft toy just as it says on the description.
The delivery man/lady left the post at the front door step. Good thing I came home on time to pick it up otherwise I wouldn't have got my post.
