I have used them many times with no problems but I drove 25 miles to pick up a car but the app would crash when trying to open the car. Contacted support and rebooted phone and reloaded the app but both my wife and I couldn’t open car. Support could not remotely open the car too.
No other cars available so now have no car and had to spend $100 in uber to travel to and from the Toyota garage.
Have to now wait for the $400+ refund plus the $200 that they also take a hold on.

F..this shit crooked company also I contacted kinto about service on the vehicle and replacement of front tire that was really dangerous to keep driving and they refused to get another vehicle or replace the tire. very irresponsables

Dreadful service. Told one thing by car inspector then charged over £600 would not recommend this company. Judging by their low score I am not the only one!!
What a DREADFUL and MEAN Company
Have been with Kinto for 2 1/2 years of a 3 year lease. I've NEVER missed a payment.
I took out the maintenance package with them and didn't realise that tyres were also covered. After the first service the Kinto agent went through the service with me and said one of the front tyres tread was getting low and would need replacing, with a price on the form of £164.
At the end of the second service a different Kinto agent to the first one, went through the service with me and said they'd replaced one of the tyres. I gulped thinking this will be pricey, only to be told that tyres were included in the maintenance package .
I'd paid £131 out of my own pocket for the first replacement and two weeks ago asked Kinto if I could be reimbursed this cost.
Going back and forth they've put this on me saying I could have taken the car back to the dealership or to Kwikfit to have the tyre replaced. Why didn't the first agent tell me this. I had no clue.
They also said it's on me because I should've read the T & C's properly. Whatever happened to understanding and fair play?
I guess the other 1* reviews speaks volumes and these in their entirety will bode no favours to Kinto's reputation and future business prosperity when you treat loyalty so abysmally. What goes around, comes around, right!

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Kinto.
The vehicle provided was in poor condition — not properly cleaned and clearly not prepared to a reasonable standard. For a service associated with Lexus, this was extremely disappointing and far below expectations.
The fuel card did not work, which meant I had to pay out of pocket. When requesting a refund (for a very small amount), I was then asked to provide personal bank statements. This is completely unreasonable and unnecessary for such a basic reimbursement, and raises serious concerns about their internal processes and customer trust.
The overall experience felt disorganised, inconvenient, and poorly managed. What should have been a simple, seamless service turned into a frustrating process from start to finish.
Given this experience, I would not recommend Kinto to anyone, especially considering the standard you would expect when this service is linked with a brand like Lexus.

Jeg havde en bekræftet booking hos KINTO, men da jeg kom frem til afhentningstidspunktet, var bilen der ikke. Den var åbenbart ikke blevet afleveret af forrige bruger.
Jeg kontaktede kundeservice, som bekræftede problemet – men kunne ikke tilbyde nogen løsning. Min booking blev bare annulleret, og jeg stod tilbage uden bil og måtte finde alternativ transport med kort varsel.
Samtidig undrer jeg mig over at jeg stadig modtog påmindelser om min booking helt op til starttidspunktet. Hvordan kan deres system ikke fange, at bilen ikke er afleveret? Hvorfor får man ikke besked, før man står på parkeringspladsen?
Det er en super ærgerlig præmis, at én kundes forsinkelse vælter næste booking – uden nogen form for buffer eller proaktiv håndtering. Samtidig virker det alt for let at forsinke eller forlænge en booking uden reelle konsekvenser for den næste kunde.
Det her gør desværre tjenesten upålidelig, hvis man faktisk er afhængig af bilen.
Worst company ever! - BE WARNED!
I would NOT recommend anyone to use Kinto to lease their vehicle through, I had my vehicle on the road for 4 and a half years and gave it back with a small dent and a stone chip both of which were hardly noticeable and they charged me £240. I was also told I couldn't purchase the vehicle because it was going straight to the action so I don't even think they will fix the marks they are charging me for.

Un service catastrophique, des voleurs tout simplement. En dehors des loyers prévus, les montants prélevés ça et là sont définis de façon totalement arbitraire et vous n'avez pas le choix que de payer !
1e véhicule, pendant presque 6 mois il m'a été prélevé double loyer (le mien et celui d'une autre personne) et malgré mes appels/mails à Kinto et Toyota rien n'a été traité avant plusieurs mois.
2nd véhicule rebelotte, on me préleve le nouveau loyer + l'ancien pendant plusieurs mois. Obligée de bloquer mon compte bancaire plusieurs fois ! On me rappelle sur mes vacances à l'étranger en me traitant de voleuse. Loué en pro, mon comptable était furax.
Je rends le véhicule comme neuf, 6000km de moins. Passée au garage pour refaire une beauté avant restitution ce que je considère comme normal.
Reste une micro rayure de jante et apparemment pneu usé à 3.7mm au lieu de 4mm. Aucune remise commerciale de leur part malgré leurs erreurs dont ils ne se sont jamais excusés. Mon 1er véhicule rendu était dans un bien pire état mais bon je ne reprenais pas de véhicule derrière cette fois-ci... Contrat stoppé le 23 février, nouveau prélèvement de loyer le 1er mars.
Vous avez compris, ils vous prélevent et vous remboursent (ou pas) des sommes aléatoires à leur guise. Bref du grand n'importe quoi.
La réputation de Kinto ternit bien entendu l'image de Toyota qui devrait sérieusement se poser les bonnes questions ! Plus jamais dans cette concession pour ma part. Dommage car leurs voitures sont de grande qualité pour le prix.

Location en LLD à 65 ans, défaut d'information ( absence plutôt) sur les conditions - CGV non remises suposées connues-
Je prend ma retraite, 10 jours aprés Kinto exige la restution du véhicule sous 10 jours ( mais il faut prendre un rdv avec l'expert qui n'ai pas disponible avant 20 jours).
Impossible de continuer à louer. Impossible d'acheter le véhicule
Au téléphone ( aucun écrit) d'accord pour un délai d'un mois. Au 8° jour LRAR extrémement menaçante. In fine considéré comme un voleur même si tous les loyers ont été honorés.
And at last but not least comme vous rendez le véhicule en avance ( contraint et forcé) énormes indemnités de restitution anticipées de 4885 euros !
J'attend toujours la quote part qui me revient du dernier loyer.
En conclusion bénéfice magistral pour Kinto à qui j'ai réglé prés de 26 000 euros en 20 mois pour une CHR récupée à l'état neuf ( 26 000km) Bravo!

I have contract hired several vehicles over the years and Kinto are without doubt the most unreasonable, indeed sharp, company of them all. I would never hire using them again and my advise is the same to you.
I hired a commercial vehicle, Toyota Corolla Commercial and I checked the damage before return. There were a few scratches on the nearside, just through the lacquer, certainly not through to the metal and all less that the stipulated 50mm. There was one very small door ding. All within the guidelines yet they tried to charge me for all of them including a bulge in the rear bumper but it was delivered like that so had proof.
This vehicle had covered over 80,000, that is a lot of miles for a vehicle to cover with next to no damage and is a flaw in the industry BVRLA guidance which takes no account of the miles a vehicle completes. This is not to say Kinto cannot take the mileage into account but they choose not to and hide behind the BVRLA standards. My previous hire companied didn't and i have no problem when these were returned despite being in worse condition.
I need to point out that Kinto did removed all charges after I complained but ONLY because they failed to tell me I had the right to appeal, NOT because they were wrong with their damage assessment that was already too strict to an 80,000 mile vehicle in the first place. In fact in my last call with customer services the gentleman completely refused to concede their damage assessment was wrong. Attached are the pictures (see google review or the pics), you be the judge.
These are the conditions supplied by Kinto:
Dents:
Dents of 15mm or less in diameter are acceptable provided the base metal or material is not exposed or rusted.
Scratches:
Scratches or abrasions of 50mm or less are acceptable provided the base metal or material is not exposed or rusted.
The red lines on the dent picture I scales using autocad.
The scratches are through the lacquer only.
BE WARNED, DO NOT CONTRACT HIRE WITH KINTO!

Bref, c'est à fuir absolument ! C'est honteux et scandaleux le traitement de leurs clients !

DO NOT TRUST Kinto car rental service as they are a complete scam. They disable your vehicle and try to charge you for late returns. Then when you show them photographic evidence of the vehicle not operable to return they will suspend your account permanently. STAY as far AWAY from them as you can so you don’t become a victim to their scamming ways.
So disappointing
So disappointing, 6 days later, and still waiting for my application to be approved, have phoned twice, emailed twice, have provided my drivers license number, home address and credit card, starting to thinks it is a scam, my personal car needs repairs and I need to get to work each day, living in rural Vic KINTO is my only option.
Pneumatici pagati, montaggio negato: esperienza pessima con Kinto One
La mia azienda ha due auto a noleggio con Kinto One e stiamo aspettando la fine del contratto per poterle restituire e affidarci a un’altra società. L’esperienza è stata estremamente negativa.
Abbiamo richiesto quattro pneumatici invernali per una delle vetture. Dopo giorni di attesa e numerosi solleciti, Kinto propone un aumento del canone di circa 50 € al mese per fornirli. Accettiamo e paghiamo.
A inizio novembre portiamo l’auto in officina per il montaggio, ma ci viene restituita con i vecchi pneumatici dell’anno precedente. Da lì in poi: email senza risposta, telefonate al call center con attese interminabili e solo promesse di solleciti mai seguite da fatti.
Successivamente scopriamo che Kinto ha bloccato il montaggio in attesa della misurazione dello spessore dei pneumatici esistenti, nonostante quelli nuovi fossero già stati pagati a fine ottobre. Dopo 11 giorni dalla misurazione, l’officina ci comunica che il cambio avverrà solo dopo la spedizione dei pneumatici da parte di Kinto. A oggi sono passati altri 12 giorni e non è successo nulla.
Nel frattempo, nonostante i soldi spesi, siamo costretti a utilizzare un’auto che non consideriamo sicura per la stagione invernale.
A rendere il tutto ancora più grave è il fatto che, proprio in questo periodo, avevamo bisogno di altre due auto a noleggio a lungo termine. Alla luce di questa esperienza, abbiamo ovviamente escluso Kinto e scelto un’altra società.
La domanda finale è inevitabile: che futuro può avere un’azienda di noleggio che, per quattro pneumatici GIA' PAGATI, è disposta a perdere quattro contratti pluriennali con un cliente sempre puntuale nei pagamenti?
