BAD SERVICE of the KINTO KASKO INSURANCE

Sono proprietario di una Toyota acquistata con formula Kinto-one in ITALIA. Trovo ASSOLUTAMENTE NEGATIVO il sistema della assicurazione Kasko. E' macchinoso e non è possibile avere un contatto diretto con un responsabile. FATE MOLTA ATTENZIONE ALLE MACCHINOSE E DIFFICILI MODALITA' DI ASSICURAZIONE KASKO IN CASO DI INCIDENTE!!!: Non solo occorre rivolgersi alle carrozzerie convenzionate (che nella mia città sono LONTANE e POCHE), ma prima di poter riparare l'auto OCCORRE OTTENERE AUTORIZZAZIONE DA PARTE DI KINTO. Cosa molto complicata pechè avviene per via informatica senza avere un contatto diretto con un responsabile della assicurazione. Oltretutto mi è capitato che mi fosse negata l'autorizzazione mettendo in dubbio le mie dichiarazioni. Veramente sgradevole. Ma, cosa molto grave è che, ottenuta la autorizzazione, occorre PRENOTARE la riparazione presso la carrozzeria convenzionata. Essendoci poche carrozzerie convenzionate si deve aspettare molo tempo prima di procedere alla riparazione del danno. Fortunatamente il danno mi permetteva di circolare, ma se fosse stato importante non avrei avuto la possibilità di circolare per pareccho tempo.. ATTENZIONE ANCHE AD INFORMARVI SULL'ENTITA' delle FRANCHIGIE (talvolta alte) e SULLA PRESENZA DI ASSICURAZINE per COLLISIONE in caso di KASKO!! Mi meraviglio che unn casa come Toyota si affidi a una organizzazione di assicurazione KASKO così macchinosa e insufficiente. MAI PIU'.

Is this legitimate or scam

I have just gone through the process of applying for a membership for car hire. Soon after I received notification that my application was denied. No reason for this was given. They asked for personnel details, driving details, a copy of driver's license, and images of me and my Visa card. Surely, they could have interrupted the application when they saw I did not fit their criteria at any point. Also, no mention that my details have been removed from their data base.

Kun gode erfaringer her i København. Det er mystisk med de mange dårlige anmeldelser? Her i København har jeg kun de bedste erfaringer - biler er fine (Toyota hybrid), rene, tankede, sprinklervæske, alt virker, biler faktisk som nye, afhentning som lovet, app virker perfekt??

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. I was driving their car and got a flat tire 2 days later. They tried to blame it on me for it and charge me $1000 dollars. Bullshit I’m not paying for something I had no control over. Worst service ever. Do not rent from them.

Incompetence beyond all belief.

I have 6 cars we run through my business on leases with KINTO. They have sent all fines, parking notices, bus lane penalties in relation to our registered address over the last 7 months instead of our contact address and now no accept no liability at all for the increased fines as a result.

I have asked for digital confirmation via email and sought to reconcile difference through appropriate channels but utter my dismay is falling on deaf ears of call centre staff who simply do not care.

I will be looking for alternative supplier at our next renewal point as it is clear our business if of no value to them at all despite a 6 year relationship.

Very bad company.

Very bad company.
My car is written off . My insurance company has settled all accounts and payments almost a month back but Kinto has not yet paused my contract. It’s been almost a month and apparently all total loss claims are dependent on one lady in this company who is forever on leave and even when in office, my work is still pending even after multiple reminders and emails .
I would give zero ratings if I could. Avoid at all costs.

If you’re a rideshare driver

If you’re a rideshare driver, I highly advise against renting from Kinto. My experience was terrible, and their policies are deceitful and designed to take advantage of customers, especially rideshare drivers.

I rented a car from Kinto for Uber, paying $442 for a week-long rental. Within just 48 hours, my tire blew out. Kinto claims to offer 24-hour roadside assistance, but when I contacted them for help, they refused to send assistance until I provided photos of the damaged tire. This happened in the middle of the night, on a dark and busy highway. Even after I sent multiple pictures, they kept giving me the runaround, delaying assistance until Texas Patrol thankfully stepped in to help.

Their policy is full of loopholes. Kinto puts the burden of maintenance on drivers. When I returned the vehicle, they informed me they would place a $1,000 hold on my account to “investigate,” with the expectation that I would pay for the tire replacement. I drove the car for fewer than 12 hours for rideshare before the tire failed. Upon inspecting the car, it was clear that the tires and overall maintenance of the vehicle were poor.

What’s worse is that Kinto never provided a clear breakdown of their policies before the rental. I didn’t receive an email or document detailing the terms. Their lack of transparency is alarming. After reading other reviews, I’ve learned that many customers have faced similar issues with poor vehicle maintenance and being charged for repairs that should have been Kinto’s responsibility.

If you’ve experienced something similar, please contact me. I’m considering filing a class action lawsuit because it’s clear this company is scamming customers by renting out poorly maintained vehicles and pushing the maintenance costs onto drivers.

Avoid Kinto at all costs if you’re a rideshare driver. Their practices are unfair, deceptive, and downright unsafe.

Total incompetence twice

My son has to you use the scheme at his work and I can’t believe the total incompetence of kinto. He’s just trying to get his 2nd car now, again he filled everything in, went through autobid confirming yes. Then 4 weeks later sorry we can’t get the car. The last time he tried they never managed to get a car he ordered and after 18monthd he ended up taking over another car from someone who left the company. So Kinto have failed at both attempts.

Worst company ever! Avoid them!

I had a lease car with Kinto for 3 years. Everything went well until the end on of my contract. Before the inspection day, I went to a professional garage to make sure the car was intact. The car was inspected and I had a confirmation that everything was in good condition. I washed the car, I even put £10 petrol in the car. Surprisingly , the guy who came to inspect the car, mentioned stupid damage on the car that I had no clue about, he said the car was not up to the standard 🙄 . I never done a repair for the past 3 years on the car but he kept talking about poor repair to different places, I was so shocked about the lie. Then few days later I received a huge bill of £800 for poor repair and damage. I've sent an email to Kinto to complain about that but still haven't received a reply from them. I'm sorry to say this but Kinto is a Thief company.
Avoid them!

BE WARNED!!

i see a 10/10 review earlier this year wondering why the low scores,,,,, you've only been with them 6 months wait till you come to the end of the contract and get hammered for about £1500 for minor dints. and that's happened twice in the past few weeks.

we will never use them ever again as its obviously a scam they are carrying out.

Rubbish company to deal with

Rubbish company to deal with. Take all of your information and will not cancel your membership. So what do they do with all of your private information. Better to go through an established car rental company that does not want so much information. Do dot use if you want to protect your personal details.

Incompetence beyond belief! If i could give zero i would! I will never lease another car through them again. They send invoices for a car even when it has been sent back and 3 months later I am still receiving invoices from their credit control dept for car tax even though their Customer Service dept have confirmed I owe nothing and assured me weeks ago that I wouldn’t receive any further invoices for a car I don’t have. Numerous emails sent which they fail to answer. The whole experience is shockingly bad🤦🏼‍♀️

Har lejet flere gange biler hos her, indtil i hæfter mig selvrisiko (5000kr) for et stenslag? Som i ikke engang har kunne dokumentere? I vælger at ignorere mig og sende mig videre i inkasso? Nu har jeg betalt, i ignorere mig stadig, når man ringer ind til jer, siger i bare skal skrive en mail, men får aldrig noget svar

Poor service and incorrect financial information given

I had a car on a 3 year lease, due to end in September, which I terminated 3 months early. My dealings with Kinto may have gone smoothly had the lease run it's course! Bungled collection attempts and 4 months to sort out the balance of the account. They take weeks to respond to emails, lose payments and the price they quote you to end your contract is incorrect. I would not use this company again. Very stressful.

No surprise

No surprise. One star is the main theme. Would be zero were that possible. Amazingly, I did actually receive an email from Kinto within a couple of minutes of asking! However, that was in order to supply me with their account details to make a final payment. My earlier emails relating to a dispute have not been met with even the courtesy of a reply. Stay away!

Incompetance beyond belief

Paid my down payment for a lease car, which they couldn't locate for 8 days! When they finally located it, it then took a further 8 days to tell the dealership that it was ok to deliver the car. Bang on three weeks later and £240 of taxi fares, I finally take delivery of the car(with minor damage!!!)

Free car

Well, where do I start, we had the lease vehicle for three months, we then found out the brand new car that we had been driving for three months was unregistered, untaxed. Etc, now we have had the car six months, they haven’t took a penny( money). I’ve tried to inform a person this week about the payments, they come back with what’s your reg number, and what’s the problem. Just look me up on your computer, I’m on there, the money is here if you want it, I’m not calling or emailing no more . It’s your problem 🙄

I note a number of complaints online about this company continuing to bill after the contract has expired and vehicles have been returned, my experience has been to suffer this for over 1 year now , these idi🤡ts will wreck your credit rating if you do not act as follows ! I raised a SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST and behold all their incompetence was there in full view i have now taken my complaint to the FCA and still they attempt to claim thousands of pounds i have resorted to replying to their communications now with the emoji 🤡.....Nuff said ...KINT🤡
