Lazyday millionaires shortbread.shortbread is like biscuit not shortbread not nice crunchy not soft it's almost like it's stale

I can’t say enough good things about Lazy Day Foods! I found Lazy Day while looking for some Christmas treats for my vegan husband. I bought a Christmas hamper, and we have been delighted with everything!! It is impossible to tell that these products are free-from, they taste just as good as the originals, and in some cases, better!! My husband’s favorites are the ginger tiffins. I think the shortbreads are amazing, especially considering that there is no butter!! The hamper had a phenomenal selection, but I can’t wait to order again and try some new treats! And, the fact that all of these good things are sustainable, makes the great, even better! Thank you, Lazy Day, you made vegan Christmas a very delicious one!!

How can you get the best before dates so wrong! Selling a vegan cake 1 year out of date is so wrong. The cake should have dec 2021 on not dec 2022!

I wanted to try this brand for my lil girl but i do not want to give her a cake past its sell by date due to youselfs no even getting the date write in the first place.

Very dissapointing

I love these goods and have been a customer for a little over 2.5 years now. Products are beautiful but sustainer service been poor of late. My last two orders have arrived with a fee damaged items, with no response from customer service. This is disappointing as these products are expensive and it’s not nice to spend a lot of money and have damaged items arrive. Would have liked a response from my email regarding this but absolutely nothing. However products are very good quality and delicious.

I picked up one of the new Vanilla traybake cakes from my local Sainsbury's. I paid £4 for it. It's approximately 12 servings. I'm generous - we got six servings ;) It was perfect for our post BBQ Sunday dinner.
The cake itself is lovely. If you're used to normal cakes, you might find it drier than your average traybake. If however you are used to gluten free cakes you will rejoice! I found it to be the perfect balance of flavours. It wasn't too sweet or overbearingly vanilla. A scoop of dairy free ice cream made it feel more indulgent and naughty.
It's a great cake ideal for a treat or for the allergy table of a kids party.
In conclusion I'd say it's a cake that satisfies the sweet tooth of those who normally miss out because of allergies or lifestyle choices - without breaking the bank!

Bought this at Sainsburys in the vegan/gluten free section. My daughter is vegan but im not and we both loved this cake. Dense but moist sponge and lovely not too sweet 'butter'cream icing...lovely. definitely buy again.

I bought a variety box which contained about six of seven products from the range. As a gluten free person it's been great having a huge variety of sweet snacks to choose from while working from home.
The long shelf life is handy too so I don't need to finish them all in a month.

Only complaint would be my bundle listed two boxes of rocky road bites but instead I got tiffin bites. Would have much preferred rocky road as it was a favourite before going gluten free.

Will certainly order again in the future.

Peppermint slices are amazing! I have a dairy intolerance and it's great to finally find something that doesn't taste like something is missing. The only problem now is I think I'm addicted!

The products are so delicious! My 5 year old dairy and wheat allergic son was so excited this year to have his first ever chocolate birthday cake - his words: 'it was sooo yummy!' We've bought 5 more since for all of the other birthdays in our house! He is now working his way through sampling all of the products in the Christmas hamper - everything has been delicious so far (I had to sample them too!) Thank you so much Lazy Day Foods!

I love this company. It’s one that my sister and I both trust to make food that is ‘safe’ for us with our free-from needs. I particularly love the crispy millionaires, and the oaty cookies. Oh, and the rocky road slices.... So many good things! Think I need to go place another order ;)

The lazy day chocolate celebration cake is a bona fide WORK OF GENIUS!! Without a shadow of a doubt, the best 'free from' product on the planet, and a cake that can stand shoulder to shoulder with any other 'normal' chocolate cake I have ever tasted. I only became gf and df 3 years ago at the age of 34, so I recall very fondly and lustfully the taste of actual chocolate cake. Let's be honest, no free from product comes close. Well, this one does. This is as good as, if not better, than any normal cake. My kids, who thankfully don't share my unfortunate dietary requirements, say this is their favourite cake too. Outstanding. Thank you, lazy day, you have made the world a better place!

I was about to take my second bite I noticed a hair poking through the icing in the middle tier. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I assumed it was my own but whilst pulling it out I realised it was embedded into the cake and a completely different colour to mine. It’s a very fine, half white, half black, 6 inch strand. I wrote an email to them and waited a week with no reply back. It was a terrible experience and to top it off they don’t have the courtesy to reply to my email.

All their products I’ve tried are amazing and taste exactly like their non-vegan versions. My family bought the chocolate cake for a birthday and everybody there loved it! Highly recommend their products

Fantastic company as a gluten intollerant vegan this is my go to for nice treats i cant find anywhere else its also very affordable for the quality. Amazing customer service and packing team! Highly recondmend supporting this company give them a try if you haven't.

As a person with many food allergies, I can not tell you how difficult it is to find a brand which caters to my needs. Lazy Day has a wide selection of delicious deserts that are all free from dairy and gluten and made in a nut free environment. Ordering online is super easy and I have never had a missed delivery or damaged box. Their customer service is second to none, on the one occasion a mistake was made, their customer service rep contacted me with an apology and a solution before the parcel had even arrived! I honestly can not recommend this company enough.

I have always had a severe nut allergy and then just last year I found out, due to a stomach condition, that I could no longer eat dairy. I felt lost and unable to eat all my favorite treats, until last year I stumbled upon a box of your millionaire shortbreads - and I instantly loved them!! Now, your products have become a constant buy for me and they have helped me to except my dietary restrictions. SO DELICIOUS :))

I love Lazy Day products and the Luxury Christmas Hamper on offer this year is something else. All the products (including shortbread, tiffin, truffles, and the full-sized cake) are all gorgeous quality, and the gift as a whole is excellent value for money. Such a treat for free-from foodies over the festive season!

My son suffers from multiple food allergies some of which include egg, wheat, rye, barley, nuts, the list goes on. So you can imagine how difficult it's been to find safe products for him. Lazy day has been a trusted brand I buy and I recently discovered their Chocolate celebration cake. My son was delighted and for the first time he was able to eat a shop bought cake, he shared it with us and it was delicious! This cake will certainly be one I buy for birthdays and special occasions, it's important that my son doesn't feel left out because of his allergies and Lazy day foods have certainly helped! Keep up the good work!! 👍
