We ordered a music case to be made for our grandson’s
21st birthday as he is a music student living in Australia. The finished item has arrived there and is absolutely beautiful.
This is a wonderful company to work with. Keith was meticulous in getting every possible detail correct for making the case and so helpful in taking charge of dealing with the delivery to WA. I wish I could give the Leather Satchel Co. more than five stars. I have never experienced such incredible, personal, customer service. The care and attention that went into the consultation process alone, to ensure I was getting exactly the right kind of satchel, with the correct specifications for my needs, was just unbelievable. The satchel itself is of very high quality. You can see the love and attention to detail that went into the making of it and I am grateful I listened to all the advice in terms of the recommended add- ons and changes, as I now own this beautiful hand made satchel, that will hopefully serve me for the rest of my guiding- career, no matter what the Scottish weather will hold in store for me.

Excellent small business. Treated myself to a saddlebag, instead of the usual rucksack and I'm over the moon with my bag and the service (and the packaging it came in too, perfect as a gift). I have bought something very special which will be with me for a very long time. Handmade in the Britain and in Liverpool (where my roots are). What a treat! Smells delicious too! I'd highly recommend this company if you want a traditional leather satchel, especially if you want to be able to modify/customise the design. The pricing is transparent and a reasonable reflection of the work that goes into their products. Master craftsman Keith Hanshaw discussed my customisation requests thoroughly with me via email and made the experience incredibly accessible. Having had very negative encounters when custom ordering from other businesses, this was nothing like that at all. He took the time to help me understand every step of the process, and never treated my ignorance or inexperience as a hinderance. Buy from this company—you won't regret it.

My bag is exactly what I wanted. The quality is excellent. The attention to detail is meticulous! They went through the details of what I required to ensure that I received exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with my satchel, which I know will last me a lifetime. I felt that they actually care about keeping their customers happy, makes my bag feel all the more special.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with my new bag! I chose the 14 inch satchel in Pillarbox Red. It's exactly what I wanted, and Keith and I had a great discussion via email about my bespoke monogramming request. You can tell that everyone's really passionate about their work, the quality is top notch and Keith was so knowledgeable and went into clear, detailed answers with all my questions. Once it arrived, the unboxing experience was so carefully designed and so much fun! There hasn't been a single thing through the process that I'm at all unhappy with. This bag is one that will easily last for decades or more if it's cared for! I do have two small suggestions for the bag itself — perhaps you could consider an option for metal studs on the base of the bag for standing it on the ground, and it would be great to have some loops on the straps (like you get on watches) to keep the tail neat and tidy.

After 8 years of daily use the clasp on the strap broke on the large satchel model. The repair was quick and well done. The bag is back in working order and given how it has lasted in over the last 8 years I think it will give more than another 8 years of use. Great service I recommend to anybody looking for a quality product that will last may years and any issues can be quickly and professionally dealt with.

I have bought a number of items from The Leather Satchel Co and each one has been beautifully made with quality materials and the colours closely match those on the website. In addition I have found the After Sales support to be first class. Even if you don't choose the Gift option, your order still arrives carefully packaged to protect the item(s).

I’ve had my patent leather tote for over 10 years now and ruined it by using normal leather polish on it (husbands fault) ,when I reached out for some advice on how to fix it, I received the most incredible surprise.
Keith sent me a patent cleaner and a video tutorial showing me exactly how to use it!

Firstly the service is brilliant, my 1st order was placed in 2021 a Leather Satchel (birthday present) quality like no other. My second order was a made to order A4 Portfolio again The quality is outstanding. I have just placed another order for my daughter`s birthday.
