⚠️ Warning to anyone considering dealing with LendCare ⚠️

I was misled regarding GAP Insurance.
I was promised it could be cancelled at any time — but later I was told it “cannot” be cancelled, and suddenly I “owe” $1,800.

• They will not say which insurance company provides the GAP coverage
• They do not explain what the charges are for
• Support staff are rude
• They hang up during calls
• They call at 6:30 AM
• Managers say they will “help,” but nothing happens
• There is no physical office you can visit

I actually flew to Toronto to speak with them in person — there was no one to talk to.

If you are thinking about financing through LendCare — think ten times before doing so.
If anyone knows the proper legal way to resolve issues with them, please contact me.

They need help in loans as they go into your bank account when ever they feel like it they go into accounts when they are not allowed in to it

As others, too many imbeciles handling one account either no communication amongst them! Had payment arrangements with one agent in which I'm paid in full to date, meanwhile another division of go easy keeps sending me unpaid loan notices! Emailed them numerous times on this issue, and not one response, not one! Worst lenders group I have ever encountered and the customer service sucks! Never again and I hope all you readers don't get involved with this outfit! Just a bunch of deliquants! Worst part is they kept attempting to take payments out on the off weeks as I was set up bi-weekly causing numerous NSF fees! Such a joke and poorly operated!

I have been chasing this company since June 2025. I took a loan for atv, deal would have been great if there was one. Loan paid to company June 11 and I got nothing 28 the still fighting to get something for my loan finally the dealership brings a trailer and a side by side with every piece of plastic broken can tell it was rolled and front flat tire back tire big gouge outta it. Trailer stabilizer toast. Called lendcare immediately told them not going thru with deal. Was advised they will get ahold of dealer. Then nothing nothing I call and call and call and the finally after persistently calling the dealership and lendcare Christie from Lend care with her wisdom says I don't really care to hear it and this how it works, we don't care if you got nothing for the loan and that the previous agent was trying to be polite but they only provide the loan don't care if I got anything, just make the payments or we'll see you in court, click(hung up) but as the dealership took the side by side back and then I had to chase them for a month trying to find out where and what is happening which then they sent me an estimate for work needed AND PROVED THEY SOLD A A WRITE OFF by the way and info they sent me since then dealership still has it with it needing major work of upwards of $4000 as they sent me proof. and wants me to pay storage for something I don't have and can't use and also stated there not a charity they took back to either make me pay $4000 to fix what was never working from day it was seen.. (paying for having nothing). Christie in her great ignorance says again don't care if you got anything for loan all we care is we paid them in your name and you owe us just pay us and hung up. I kept calling Lendcare and Irina says I am escalating this because this is not how they want customers to be treated like that and the estimate because the machine needs a complete rehaul and $4000 should be the dealerships cost since I have never been able to use it and they validated that with all the proof from the dealership So Again go back to Lendcare and get told well are gonna contact them and of course nothing. LENDCARE DONT CARE AND Will tell you alot of lies. I am out a loan, A MACHINE AND SUPPOSE TO PAY $4000 PLUS STORAGE TO A COMPANY THAT PROVIDED a pile of garbage instead WHAT WAS TO BE PURCHASED and have nothing to show for what they want me to pay LENDCARE WILL RIP YOU OFF THEN TELL YOU TO TAKE A FLYING LEAP WITH YOU HAVING NOTHING BUT A BILL NO MACHINE AND A LOAN WITH THIS RIP OFF COMPANY WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. THIS COMPANY IS THE FULL DEFINITION OF UNETHICAL

The customer service is non existent. They keep on hiring people who dont even know what they are doing and extremely disrespectful. No sense of respect, customer service or care.
Think twice before lending from this company. The supervisors are the same.

Worst company to deal with. Terrible customer service. Constant harassment. Doesn't pull out money on planned dates. No one should use them. I intend to get out of my loan as quick as possible to end this misery.

I got approved through powersports to buy a golf cart, I have good credit at the time. I just bought a vehicle through a major bank at 9 percent interest during COVID. I had asked powersports about the payment amounts and he really didn't have a answer . But I thought it would be like my cars interest amount. I called the custom golf cart company that custom builds to your liking . With taxes etc it was a bit over 16,000. Dollars. Once I received the call from Excalibur custom carts that it was finished I let powersports know , so they could pay them. The paper work came for me to e sign and I thought my payments were 198 dollars a month. Nope biweekly for 8 yrs. At 30 percent interest from lendcare that's 40,000 dollars paid back against the 16,000 plus 600. Dollars to powersports and another 600 to lendcare for writing the loan. Over 17,000 in the end and paying in total 40,000. If I had of know I wouldn't of ordered it . After a while I was offered a unsecured loan will I had to take it to make ends meet same ordeal with interest. Nothing like being royally fck'd from every which way. 3 plus yrs later I took sick needing heart operations and I can hardly walk from the pain from issues of swelling in legs and feet now wearing size 13 plus shoes. Any ways I had to quit work. Now homeless since August and have nothing to my name. I see rendered my vehicle months ago, plus no phone etc. countless emails and calls to lendcare and all I get is threats of being sued and paying them their loans,interest,lawyer fees etc . Months behind. I'm going to call again tomorrow but I have to walk 13 kms to a payphone from the tent encampment I living in because I don't qualify for disability not being in a wheel chair. I've asked to rewrite the loans, I need lower interests etc and never hear back .I could of sold the golf cart but because I owe 13,000 plus on it and can only sell for 10,000 they won't release the lean on it. Is there ever a positive answer here? Has anyone actually been sued in this group? Please help with what to do.

account was paid in full but they added charges after and continue to attempt collection
they refuse to reply to emails
they hung up on me when they called and dint like what I was saying

We purchased a vehicle through car, Canada and one we approach them they said to us the only company I will finance us would be LendCare when all the numbers were add up when all the finance were done on paper. LendCare wanted to charge us $35,698 of interest for a $49,000 vehicle. This is to anyone who ever wants to deal with LendCare please do yourself a favor deal with a bank instead or a loan company that will give you reasonable rates and that is not difficult to deal with. They are almost impossible to communicate with there are so incompetent. They seem to hire people who cannot run the day-to-day business so this is a warning to all they’re even been reports of them to the Better Business Bureau. They are so rated below one star and unfortunately, I’ve heard also that they had quite a few lawsuits against them for fraudulent and other activities like changing interest interest on a contract that’s been signed seal and delivered.

I was told I could voluntarily give up my car and would not have to pay anything.
I live in Alberta and it is seizure sue
They took car and sold it. But are still trying to take payments for a car I don’t have any more.

The worst loan company in the world to be dealing with. They pull money out when they shouldn't be I've signed a piece of paper stating that they only pull it out at certain times that I agreed to now my account is way over and I can't get it back and lend care just tells me oh well. Be nice to talk to an English speaking person not a foreigner. They lied just to get what they want they're just like politicians take money from the people and don't let them know until it's too late.

I had never heard of these guys until they started emailing me about a supposed loan. I ignored them for a while because to my knowledge I have no loans. Eventually I answered one of their calls and found out it was related to payments that had not gone through even though I had given my details to set up direct payments.

When I asked if I could provide my details again to the company I actually set up the payments with, they said I will continue to accrue interest and hung up on me. When I called back and asked for a manager they did the same.

Terrible terrible terrible.
We went to AMQ to get meat. They gave us the option to finance, which we did. We signed up through AMQ and not Lendcare directly, gave void check directly to AMQ. 3 months later, we recieved calls from lendcare, very accusatory, very rude and condescending people.

Question: when you receive a call from people telling you you owe them money that you don't even know or have a relationship with, do you pay them? No.

We asked, reasonably if we can resend the void check to the company that we applied for financing with since we already have a relationship with them. They refused, we tried to be polite but you can only be polite so much after a while of being accused of not wanting to pay.

We were seaking reasonable solutions and they were just very pushy for us to be given a void cheque.

Hung up on 4+ times. They threatened us saying that if we do not send a void check then our credit will be affected. They also said: just let the interest rise, have a good day and they hung up.

Pure bullshit. Shady and nasty workers. Would not recommend just because of the shitty service. I'm also planning on complaining to the Ombudsman but honestly wouldn't be surprised if I was brushed off by them too.

DONT APPLY FOR LOANS WITH THIS COMPANY.
ANYTHING ELSE BUT NOT THEM.

They do not deserve a 1 star. Absolute thieves. Overcharged the interest they agreed to with me by double for nearly a year. I have in writing what they promised. No accountability. I eventually sold the car to get rid of them and they were paid out in full. They are still trying to debit my account. It is honestly shocking.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! I bought a vehicle and got approved through them( which was fine). The company i bought the vehicle off of went bankrupt and i never received my vehicle, and now im dealing with omvic. This company has zero understanding, all they care about is their dam money. They changed my interest from 14% to 25%. Ive put stop payments from my bank. Lendcare knows the situation and still continue to try and take payments and my credit went down over 150 points because of these A**HOLES!! Please dont ever ever use them!!

Zero stars! Unauthorized payments added with zero accountability! 2 months and I'm still trying to retain stolen funds and they have the audacity to ask for my financial statements! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

My daughter financed a car with them in April for $12k, she passed away july 01. Took them over a month to pick up the car, then turned around and sold it for $3000! They want the estate to pay the remaining balance on the loan, which to me is essentially stealing from the only minor beficiary. They don’t care. They are so hard to deal with, the women that is handling the estate account from LendCare does not return emails, and is rude!

I see a lot of people here having the same issues as me. They keep breaking our contract and going into my account on days they aren't authorized to and taking hundreds when they're only supposed to take $26. If anyone wants to get together and do a group lawsuit against them contact me! samanthajane0814 at Gmail dot com

Didn’t even know about them till a company I was dealing with tricked me in setting up instalment payment from them. They offer no protection to the customer should the company ghost or not provide services. Biggest mistake and already filed a complaint against them with consumer protection too.
