DON'T DO IT

Dear God. I wish I had done my research before signing a contract with LENDCARE. I won't delve into too much detail about my experience, as it's very similar to the other 1-star reviews. Instead, I'd like to summarize my experience and share my conclusions.

I am fortunate to have had some savings that allowed me to pay off that fuVking predatory contract I had with them. I know many others aren't that lucky. And so if you, like me, and like so many others have fallen into the LendCare Captial Inc Hell Pit - first thing's first.

Don't shame yourself!!!

They want you to shame yourself. So you keep it hidden. So you keep yourself isolated. FuVk that noise. Everyone makes mistakes. They did what they did to me because of my vulnerabilities. Because I lacked financial literacy, because I didn't ask elders for help, and because I told myself I could do it on my own. Yeah. That's how this individualistic society fuVks us.

Listen closely - we live in a society that values and awards sociopathy, and as such, sociopathic behaviours are rewarded and even celebrated. That is why even though there are SO MANY COMPLAINTS against LendCare, they still exist. That is why, despite spending an entire month trying to get help from various departments in the Ontario government to assist with my case, they were unable to take any action. And, let me be clear, these government departments are aware of Lendcare. They know how Lendcare is fuVking over Canadians. They know.
But because this country is set up to benefit sociopaths and hurt the vulnerable, nothing will get done.

I did not have financial or contract literacy at the time I signed that contract, and trusted and depended on a 'financial advisor' who knew that, and used my lack of knowledge to fuVk me over.

I signed a contract with Lendcare without understanding it, and ended up losing $10,000 on a vehicle that is not worth even $5,000. Again. That mistake was mine. I have accepted that loss.

My experience with Lendcare was terrible. I was threatened on multiple occasions by staff and 'management', and toyed with. And oh my god, hung up on SO MANY TIMES.

Look, if you gotta deal with them, you gotta deal with them. But here are my tips in protecting yourself.

1.Don't let up. You are not the one at fault. Keep going. Be that BitOh.

2. Record every conversation you have with them on the phone. In Ontario, you are able to record a conversation without letting the other party know as a private citizen, as long as YOU are a part of that phone call.

3. Send emails documenting everything. After every conversation, send them an email. This acts as a receipt. This is for your benefit.

4. Be prepared to deal with some shit. Their staff are scared - they are just people trying to make a dollar. Their 'managers' are not good people. And very rude. I had a friend sit with me during some of the calls - the support helped - and honestly, at times her face alone helped me realize that yeah, the way I was being spoken to was not normal and definitely not professional.

5. You will be placed on LONG ASS HOLDS. They started doing this to me once they learned that I had realized I'd fallen for a scam. They would leave me on hold for long periods of time - but, here's the thing. They are listening to you while you are on hold. So speak up. I used to like recording myself having conversations about how they were treating me, and how I knew they were intentionally ignoring me. Funny how when I did that, they answered the call right away.

6. Really, the only way to get out of a hostage situation is to pay the ransom. If possible, pay them off, GET CONFIRMATION and get away from them. They will milk you for everything. They don't care that you are struggling to pay rent -they picked you because you are struggling to pay your rent. Again, sociopaths, gonna sociopath.

Do not expect any humanity from this company. Protect yourself. And stay safe. People out there are real shits

I paid off my loan with them almost two…

I paid off my loan with them almost two months ago. I had a settlement letter one before and one after with them stating I will no longer owe them if I pay them a balance of $6,600. I paid them. Payments from my bank account stopped until October came and now they are trying to steal money from my bank account even though they have been paid off. They are refusing to close my loan and ruining my credit. Stay far away from these scammers. I unfortunately have to hire a lawyer now. They have caused me so much emotional distress that’s destroying my health. It’s been a nightmare dealing with this company. Don’t ever get a loan with this company or the affiliated companies goeasy and easy financial. This is ruing my life they will pay for what they are doing to me literally.

Do not get a loan with Lendcare they will bleed you dry called in asked for full buy out they gave it to me I paid it a week later they called saying I still owed close to 900 dollars can argue with them all you want they do not back down just threaten your credit score every time and there is so much more that they screwed me on to much to list but I would borrow money anywhere but here

I had to rate the 1 star as that’s as low as I could go but honestly didn’t even want to give that much as Lendcare Financial Services is an absolute joke and a bunch of crooked, rip off artists! Bought a couple of new quads but went through a finance company that they gave me 2 diffent lenders, one of which was Lendcare. My girlfriend and I had every intention on paying these off right away with the proceeds from a house sale. When it was time to pay them off , the one lending company was absolutely professional and took less than a day to do that! Now… with Lendcare I tried letting them know I wanted to pay off my outstanding balance so what’s the payout amount? I got a run a round for how much it was cause it’s “ daily “ interest and told it depends on when they receive the money? I said I will make an “ online payment “ today and the rep said that they don’t use TD bank! I live in a small town with 1 CIBC bank which I don’t use and was told to go to a BMO bank which they use. They emailed me the company name, account number and payout amount to which I was going to deposit a “ certified “ cheque into. So I drove 2 hours to the nearest BMO, got a certified cheque from my TD bank which cost me some money and took it down to the BMO. Stood in line for 10 min and tried to deposit the certified cheque and the teller said the bank account number does not match the account holder! She was not “ legally “ able to tell me who that account number belongs too! So now back outside and call Lendcare back getting another rep who couldn’t help me! Called back to and spoke to another rep who gave me complete attitude basically telling me I was lying about the email from them with the deposit info! So got another certified cheque which cost money again and finally got it deposited into a “ sketchy name “ on the Lendcare account. I called them back and said I paid off my quad! They said it will take 10 business days to get the “ certified “ cheque cleared and that there will be “ daily interest “ charges until the the cheque clears! Well I was really mad now saying that’s BS! I said they better cancel any further payments being pulled out of my account as I provided them a “ confirmation “ number and receipt in hand from the BMO Bank in hand! They said to call back in a couple weeks to confirm it’s been paid off. So I waited 3 weeks and just called back to make sure I can get a document indicating there’s no lien on my quad now. So now I’m told that will take 2-4 weeks to get that title removed! So almost 2 months to get the quad in my name after paying it off!

Don’t use these scam artists , they are so unprofessional it’s mind blowing!

Bought my side by side in 2023 and paid it off this year.

Posting on Behalf of ROGER STURGEON. Bought my side by side in 2023. Would rate -10 if I could. Paid my side by side off in full. Next day they took out the monthly payment. Sent them my bank statement as proof for the WHOLE payment, Name everything as well as account information. They said they needed more proof. Place is BS, absolute garbage. Would 1000000000000% not recommend financing with these con artists. They will rip you off left right and center. All I’d like is my $150 dollars back. I can guarantee they make more than that in a day ripping honest people off. Lendripoff instead of lendcare. Sounds like they don’t care about anyone but themselves. Absolutely the worst customer service i’ve ever dealt with.

Lendcare is a scheme company!!

Lendcare is a scheme company!!! They tried to charge my fiance double payment saying he missed a payment when all his payment where paid out on time and automatically taking from his bank, they wanted double payment not once but several times from him and being the person my fiance is he made those payments to get back on track but a few weeks later they did it again, charging him more for so called " missed payment" however this went on for a few months. Lendcare is a crap company, don't work with them , they will lie and manipulate you into paying more then you should!

If I could give zero stars, I would

Bought an RV trailer through Flaman with their recommendation to use LoanCare for financing. The financing went through with LoanCare, but now comes the issue. We want to pay the full amount off, but when we call customer service there isn't an answer, no matter what time we call. They also do not answer any of the multiple emails we have sent. We finally got a response by calling the collections line but they apparently cannot help anyone if their loan is not in default. We spoke with SAYEEDAH in collections, who wouldn't give us her last name or employee number, and she was exceptionally belligerent and rude.She also said that she doesn't have a supervisor or manager to speak with.

At the end of the day, they simply do not want to be contacted unless you are late on your payment. I guess we have to stop paying?

Do not use loan Care. They are horrendous.

If i could leave a less STAR review I would. I have been a customer for a few years and never missed a payment. ended up paying off 20K loan and there was a few cents left. Gave lendcare new banking information but they did not update) so now I have over 75$ in NSF fees because they cant run a buisness properly and if I dont pay it "It will effect my credit" These blood suckers will call you 10 times plus a day to tell you how "Horrible" a customer you are lol also... i pressed 1 for english!!!

This is by far the worst finance company around. I bought a travel trailer and Needed a partial loan as I had a sizeable down payment. Lendcare was the lender who provided the loan. It was never explained to me that the amortization length was longer than the loan itself therefore my last payment needed to be 16k!!!! My payments don’t even pay down the principal really- in the last year, I have paid down only $300. Not to mention, I am having an issue with making payments right now due to a family issue and I reached out to avoid a repossession to work with them. I was told they have no options. That I can miss a payment and they won’t take the trailer right away but they will raise my interest 10%!!! I just spoke to a customer service escalation specialist- what a joke- she had no other options different from the regular agent. I have asked to a manager to call me but I am so shocked at the lack of customer service and scam these people are running, I may just tell them to take the trailer and shove it. If I was told sell it privately - which I have been trying to do- it is worth what I owe so I don’t get this lack of options. Steer clear if these guys and if you do deal with them- have the contract reviewed and explained by a lawyer. I should have read it but I expected the full details were explained- I have learned now!!

LIARS!!!

Everytime I call them I'm told a different story. They don't follow through on payment arrangements and then make excuses. They refuse to let me speak with a manager after I was told I would hear from one regarding an NSF that I got because THEY screwed up a payment arrangement. The list goes on and on! If you want to deal with stress and lies then absolutely get a loan through them but if you don't avoid them at ALL cost!!

Lendcare has been awful to deal with. First of all, I contacted them to request a statement of my loan account with them - they told me it would take 2-3 business days for me to receive an emailed copy of my statement. I received it later that day - the only "positive" thing about my experience. About a week later, I had to contact them again to confirm the exact payout amount for my loan - the amount they told me was over $426 more than what showed on my statement. When I spoke to Shalin Shah in financing, he gave me many excuses, including one that his manager told him that I'd have to pay the highest amount given to me, with an accrued interest for 2 days after later to ensure my payment was received. I paid using etransfer and my etransfer was deposited minutes later. I was also told that I would have to wait 5 business days to request a letter to confirm payment was received and the account has been closed. This company is untrustworthy. Once again, I HIGHLY recommend NOT dealing with them! Rainbow Systems Saskatoon- Unified Air Solutions Inc. Rainbow Vacuum Sales company uses Lendcare to do financing services.

Nothing but a bunch of bullies

If I could give a star I would, so we are in a class action lawsuit with lendcare because they didn't have a business license and the government of Alberta caught them , so therefore our loan is non void well not in lendcares eyes they think they have done nothing wrong are passing the blame on us we weren't the ones the did the loan up illegally and when we try to call to explain oh no it's your fault you signed it you went shopping blah blah and I spoke to a Micheal guy he's extremely rude cuts you off blames you lendcare you need to take accountability and fix your shit. It's not my problem and as per my lawyer I am under no obligation to pay you a dime till this lawsuit is over so you keep sending emails and I will keep saving them and showing them how you don't work with your clients you just send them the same email over and over thinking they will just resign try again do better I wish I never heard of you guys save yourself the trouble DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LENDCARE!!!

LendCare Sucks

I emailed LendCare 1.5 weeks prior to my next payment. I didn't receive an email or call that they required anything else until I noticed the payment tried to pull out of my original bank account. Since mid July I've been trying to get them to change my banking information and now they want a double payment AND for ME to cover the NSF charges THEY COST ME! (They tried pulling two payments from the old account within one week) When I've tried to talk to staff, they've been rude, disrespectful and essentially telling me it's all my fault for their f up! I'm NEVER getting another loan with LendCare. And the faster I can get out of this one, the better.

This company is a joke they rip people off huge and if they take me to court good sick of hearing that i owe more i just paid them and they say i still owe. I phoned three times before my due date, i had to catch up my quad payment and my warranty payment,, when i got my quuaf i was told it was 406.00 a month then all of a sudden three or 5 months in theres a warranty loan i dont remember even asking for a warranty loan even though they sent me an email with one with my signature on it wow... i beyond pissed!!!
