Can't find payments
Like many others, I would give Lencare negative stars if I could. I obtained a car loan through Canada Drives with them two years ago. At the time, I had just bought a house and faced several recent expenses that lowered my credit score to about 680, making it difficult to qualify for a better lender. Knowing I would pay off the car in about two years, I accepted an interest rate of around 15%, which wasn't ideal, but I needed a car quickly.
Fast forward to now—more than two years later—after no late payments and a perfect track record with them. I decided to pay off the remaining loan balance of $21,761. After waiting 48 hours for the payment to post, I contacted them to confirm receipt.
The customer service representative simply asked for proof of payment from my bank. I sent a screenshot of my account, but she replied that it was insufficient and that it could take five days for the payment to post automatically. When I inquired about ensuring the next automatic payment wouldn’t be deducted since the loan was paid off, I was told that this wasn’t possible. They claimed they would refund me for any overpayment once the payment posted.
Now, it's been seven days since the payment, and they still can't trace it. I asked if they had internal procedures to find where the money went (my bank assured me they sent the payment to the correct company with the right account number), but they insisted it was my responsibility to prove that I paid.
This company is a joke—stay away!

I called and paid with my visa card yesterday and now these losers went and took it out again now leaving me with the nsf! When I asked Bailey she says I have to get the bank to give me a letter so she can try to fix it. It wasn't my fault!!!! Then she's supposed to send her email for me to give the bank and all day I'll calling and she is lying and saying she sent it. I have to take time out my day dealing with lots of things and she give me the run around all day. Still was oh no help. They take a lot of money from me every month and now they giving me all this run around for my nsf. Guys please please DON'T ever use this company for loans or anything you will regret it. Absolutely disgusting company who loves to rip people off, will change monthly payment at any time and help themselves to your bank account at any time. Then try to legally threaten you if you question them or stop paying till I get an answer. NEVER GO THERE!!!!

Would put 0 stars if I could. They have been stealing my money for over 2 years now and always blame their computers glintching, legit heard this excuse from at least 4 diff workers. They take money out on wrong dates, and the people have no clue what they are doing its so obvious. Do not use this company, I hate them. Have costed me countless nsf fees due to taking my mkney when they arnt supposed to. Have been trying to contact them with no response, even tho I was told I'd be contacted lol like this company is such a joke idk how they are still legally running.....is there a lawyer out there reading this that can help us people get away from these people cause we're locked in with a company that does not fallow therre contract and steals from their customers with nothing ever done about it other then blaming everyone els in the world but them. If I could put 0 stars and still write a review I would. This is a terrible company, got a 2019 Chevy Malibu LT with 85,000 km on it. Should only be worth around 14,000… they are charging 36,000 for it PLUS a 45% interest rate… which puts the car to 70,000 …. They harass me and my friend even after we make payments (5/6 calls a day each) about payments. They threatened me when I couldn’t afford $1000 a month anymore. I had 3 jobs when I got the vehicle im not down to 1 part time job thanks to covid.
The worst customer service EVER. I’ve done a volunteer repossession, it’s been 2 weeks, the vehicle has no plates and is about to be impounded and Lendcare is blaming me, belittling me, threatening me, and still hasn’t picked up the car. I should not have to harass them to come pick up a car for 2 weeks. They want money from you and they harass you, the moment you need them to do something, it’s impossible to get a hold of them and get someone who actually will do something.
LENDCARE IS A SCAM
After a year of being with the company, the rep I had who was inside sales and not even billing or the payment department, reached out to me and told me my interest rate increased by 10%! due to ONE MISSED PAYMENT, ONLY ONE, that was paid within a good time and it was also when they offered me the "HOLIDAY PAYMENT DIFFERAL OFFER".
The guy was extremely unprofessional, he did not send any documents to follow up what he said, he was extremely rude and his emails hardly made sense like I was speaking with a cave man.
When I called customer care, the lady was cutting me off as I was trying to explain things to her, she then put me on hold for 10 minutes so I genuinely gave up as I am not wasting my time talking to these people when their customer service has already shown to be disgusting.
I am extremely scared of this company and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! Can someone help?!?!?

Lack of Response and Terrible Customer Service
I am extremely dissatisfied with LendCare’s lack of communication and their actions in deleting records of my attempts to reach out to them. In July 2024, I contacted LendCare regarding a loan I was misled into signing through Orogold Cosmetics. The loan was presented to me as part of a sales contract, not as a separate loan agreement, resulting in a lot of stress.
I followed up with LendCare both by email and on social media in July 2024 and again in January 2025, but received no response. What made matters worse is that when I shared my concerns publicly on Google and Twitter, LendCare didn’t just ignore me—they removed my posts and erased any trace of my attempts to contact them in February 2025. These records were clear, non-defamatory efforts to engage with the company.
As I continue with my small claims case against Orogold Cosmetics, I expected LendCare to be more transparent and responsive, especially given their involvement in the loan process. Instead, their behaviour has shown a troubling lack of accountability and customer care. I would strongly recommend caution when considering any financial agreements with LendCare, as their customer service leaves much to be desired.

Got a loan through these scam artists. Powersports put me with them, and then refused to even tell me who the loan was with until they had already started taking out payments. They even lied to me about what company I was financed with. They took out 3 payments before I even received the Trailer which was destroyed with all frozen pipes. There is easily $5000.00 in damages. Powersports refuses to deal with me and Lendcare says they don't care and to just make the payments anyhow. They did what they called a "promotional deal" which was supposed to give me a minimum $3000 back, then said after the fact that they couldn't. They did however add it to the principal of the loan and just kept it. Talked to Lendcare about it, they hung up on me twice, told me it was not their problem. I never received the goods in working order and refuse to pay for the destroyed trailer. I do not recommend using this company for anything, they should be shut down.

i would never recommend this company for a loan. They randomly take money from your bank whenever they want. They have cause my account to go in overdraft $800.00 and i eventually had to close the account. They do not call back or take responsibility for what they have done. Once my car loan is paid off i will never use them again..terrible terrible.. If i had a choice i would not even give them 1 star

If I could give LendCare zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others to stay far away. From the moment I started dealing with them, it has been an endless cycle of frustration, misinformation, and complete lack of professionalism.
First and foremost, their customer service is beyond terrible. Trying to reach a representative is like pulling teeth—long wait times, multiple transfers, and when you finally do get through, you’re met with unhelpful, clueless agents who seem more interested in getting you off the phone than actually resolving your issue. I’ve had to explain my situation over and over again, only to be given conflicting information every time. The incompetence is staggering.
On top of that, their lack of transparency and shady business practices are alarming. Fees and charges are never properly explained, and they seem to conveniently “forget” to mention critical details until it’s too late. Hidden fees, unexpected charges, and unclear terms have made dealing with them a complete financial headache. It feels like they’re intentionally trying to trap customers into paying more than they signed up for.
Their payment system is unreliable and outdated, causing unnecessary issues and delays that they refuse to take responsibility for. Even when payments are made on time, I’ve received notices claiming otherwise, leading to unnecessary stress and wasted time trying to sort out their mistakes. And don’t even think about getting a clear answer from their support team—every person you speak to will tell you something different.
To make matters worse, LendCare seems to have zero regard for their customers. They are quick to demand payments but painfully slow when it comes to providing any real assistance. They show no empathy or willingness to work with customers when issues arise, instead resorting to generic, robotic responses that do nothing to help. Their attitude is cold and dismissive, making it clear that their only concern is squeezing every last dollar out of you.
I have never dealt with a company so poorly managed, unprofessional, and downright frustrating as LendCare. If you’re considering using their services, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This company does not deserve your time, money, or trust. Save yourself the headache and go with a reputable lender that actually values its customers.
I hope this review helps others avoid the same nightmare I’ve had to endure. LendCare should be ashamed of how they operate, and I will never recommend them to anyone.

We have a loan for our camper through Lendcare, they are the worst finance company i have ever dealt with. In August we changed our payments from bi-weekly to semi monthly. After we changed it instead of the semi monthly payments we asked for, they started taking semi monthly AND bi-weekly causing our bank account to consistently go into the negatives and charge us NSF fees, plus accumulated NSF fees on the finance end of it which is $75 + $45 with our bank. This has been going on since middle of august to beginning of January. We have spoke to them, and they say they can't help it as it's an automated thing that they can't control. My husband threatened in November to put a stop payment on the account and start paying by EFT.
Fast forward to last week, we changed banks as there's been over $1000 in NSF fees and we are just done at this point. I called them to make payment over the phone with our credit card, or even by EFT. They stated nope we don't allow any other form of payment other than direct from your account which i call BS as its an open loan so we can make extra payments if wanted. I asked for a statement of account as they were trying to say we were behind a payment when we have never missed the SEMI MONTHLY payment that we switched it to (email proof as well). The next day, I receive an email from them with a letter attached stating our loan is paid off in full and we no longer have any obligation to any outstanding balance. I have been trying to get ahold of them since last week and still nothing back and I'm unsure what to do now??? We still had a $19,000 balance as of 30 days ago so it's definitely not paid off. I have been doing everything over email as I refuse to do it over the phone because they will say one thing on the phone and then a completely different thing over email so I'd rather have the proof for future if needed. I am heartbroken for every single person that has been a victim in this crime of a company, and something needs to be done to put a stop to them!
