Roger was an excellent instructor who always made me feel at ease when driving. He helped build my confidence whilst educating me in my mistakes. A lovely guy who believed in me and ultimately the reason why I managed to pass first time. I will miss our lessons greatly, 100% recommended.

I started learning to drive with Roger last October and I successfully passed first time in May. Roger made me feel at ease from my first lesson and was always on time, patient and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Thank you so much Roger!

My instructor, Ruth, was amazing. Could’ve have passed first time without her. She made me feel so comfortable in the car as well as being one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met.

Ruth is a brilliant driving instructor who taught me to drive and pass my test first time in just 6 months. I loved our lessons and chats and she made the process of learning to drive so much easier for me! She explained everything that I needed to know so well, and assured me that I was ready to take my test. She is a lovely person and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to have a calm and comforting atmosphere while learning to drive; she is very friendly and knowledgeable, and I am really glad I chose Lifetime Driving Standards. I looked forward to our lessons every week, and I will miss them so much!

After having a different instructor that I didn't feel I was making progress with I stopped until I was recommended Roger from work and a few friends- I immediately felt more confident in my driving and was making much faster progress- I booked a test and he ensured I was test ready- everything was explained so well and any questions answered at any time. First time pass! thank you! x

Roger was absolutely brilliant, he really improved my confidence with driving, and I highly recommend him! I had a first time pass that I couldn’t have managed without him.

Roger is a funny, patient and great teacher who stuck by me despite my initial struggles with a manual car. I would recommend Roger and the driving school to anyone who needs effective and patient tuition for manual driving, it felt weird saying goodbye after passing my test!

Well considering I was not from the area when I came to Roger to learn how to drive. He took me through all the procedures, routes and calmed me down when I didn’t think it was going right (I never felt like it was going right sometimes). As long as you can deal with him gloating when Man City has won you’ve found your best in learning to drive with Roger.

Ruth is an amazing instructor. I’ve tried so many times with other driving schools and never ever felt as comfortable or safe as I did with Ruth. The confidence in me now is unreal. part if me is a little bit gutted I passed because I will miss my lessons so much. Thank you so much. This really does mean the world to me.

Passed 1st time with Carin. Couldn’t ask for a better instructor, patient, not overbearing and prepares you well giving you the tools you need to pass. Highly recommend. (And she’s a blue!)

Rodger is a great instructor who is very patient and he really had to be with me at points. He was relaxed and kind creating a comfortable environment for me to learn and be confident in my driving I can’t thank rodger enough for what he has done and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I just passed my test (after a few attempts due to nerves) with the exceptional help of Rodger.

When I first started driving I was extremely nervous and anxious, however Rodger put me at ease immediately.

He's extremely calm, and even when I made mistakes it was never a big deal, he'd calmly have me pull over and we'd go through what went wrong and what I should do differently.

I would recommend Rodger to anyone learning to drive, particularly for anyone who's an anxious person. I have enjoyed every lesson I had with Rodger, and will miss my Sunday lessons.

I honestly cannot recommend Ruth as a driving instructor enough!! I didn’t have any theory or practical experience beforehand and was very nervous before starting lessons. Ruth reassured me so much and made me feel completely at ease. Ruth gave me the confidence I needed to not only safely drive but to actually enjoy it. Ruth had a way of explaining things so clearly and adjusted it to how I learnt best. She never made me feel bad when I made mistakes and praised me when I did well. I will really miss our lessons together. So thankful for everything and the fact I passed first time with only four faults!! Thanks Ruth and Lifetime Driving Standards! 😁

After not having the best start to driving with two other instructors, I started lessons with Carin. Despite being nervous, Carin made driving a positive experience for me and massively helped improve my confidence. I ended up passing first time and now feel confident driving by myself. Couldn’t recommend Carin enough!
