My estate agent told me to use this company for Anti Money Laundering checks. I have been charged 8.99 subscription since as I was automatically signed up for 3 months free followed by a paid subscription. I have cancelled the subscription and requested a refund. Lifetime Legal claim that they sent me 5 emails that were delivered but unopened that explained that I was being charged. I have not signed up to any of their services but they will not refund. Providing an automatic enrolment to a service with an automatic annual renewal does not seem an fair way to conduct business.

Awful company that outsourced to via Purplebricks and who seem to think they are gatekeepers of the process and are incredibly disruptive to the buying process. They seems to want to act as the conveyancer ever though they have not been instructed to act as one. First they demand an upfront £80 from the buyer, then they demand paperwork at the buyers cost (Almost all solicitors are one or the other but Lifetime legal want they money and not want to spend any on doing the checks they are paid to do) And for that cost they take between 4&5 days to actually check the documents when you send them over. Avoid like the plauge and be very concerned if buying via Purple bricks as they will trap you with these lot (As Purplebricks isn't really a proper estate agent so don't do things in house).
Also take the opportunity when they are acting on the sellers behalf to try and upsell you there services made me listen to a near 20 minute sales spiel from them to even start the process then bombard you with follow up and advertising that you haven't consented too, in breach of data protection laws.

Excellent service by Aaisha, she is friendly, professional and managed to move through the process quickly to ensure a smooth experience.

I am starting to get really concerned about this company because our experience exactly matches the recent one star reviews from other people.
I have paid them for money laundering and identity checks but they act like they are the conveyancer acting for the vendors when they are not.
It is as others have said a continual barrage of emails demanding more and more information from at least five people in the company and counting, so how secure my information is I don't know. When you send them information they say they can't find it. On one occasion they don't seem sure of their own policies.
A lot of the good reviews relate to will writing . Making a house move go smoothly does not appear to be their forte.

Dealt with Dylan Comber. Very professional and knowledgable - explained everything in a way it made it simple to understand. A quick turnaround also between stages. Left us feeling happy and confident we got exactly what we wanted. Nice to see this still can occur and would definitely recommend.

We were guided through the drafting of our wills expertly. These were provided quickly and painlessly.

All carried out online with the minimum of fuss, just uploaded requested documents to the portal with one follow on email query. Response to the claim was within days with costs paid which we would have otherwise have lost. We will definitely use this company again for our next purchase and are currently subscribed for at least another month, Very easy to use, thoroughly recommended.

LIFETIME LEGAL are very rude and incompetent.
We are buying a property thru PurpleBrick. Lifetime Legal are meant to be doing anti money laundering (AML) checks on us. We are already home owners with no mortgage. we have produced verified IDs.
Lifetime Legal continues to ask for more and more paperwork in a drip feed format. I am asked to gather paperwork from all government databases.
This has therefore slowed the whole home buying process and is causing great anxiety and stress.
We have posed this question to Purplebrick as there is no way to speak to anyone from Lifetime Legal.
