Amazing Work!

Its incredible the way Loved Ones Forever restores cherished and aged photos and brings them back to life. They have completely transformed some of my greatest memories, its as I have relived them again. Ben has also been so kind and thoughtful in the process and I can most certainly say its brought a lot of happiness to myself and my family. Thank you so much :)

The Loved ones forever team are awesome!

Ben is really amazing and so is his loved ones forever team! , he is passionate about what he does and really tries to go above and beyond.
He takes things very personally and is incredibly compassionate.
This business started from an idea on a couch and has now flourished to this incredible service. Love my photos!!!!

The most amazing service ❤️

Loved ones forever has given back to my family so so much. When photos are the only things you have left of someone, to be able to restore their image and look like your looking at them as if they were here is the most amazing thing you can give someone.
Ben and the loved ones team have now brought back multiple images of my brother for my family and I to be able to cherish forever.
Thank you Ben & The Loved Ones Team for giving back to so many x

Amazing quality, delivery, service 👍

Absolutely amazing photo, I sent off one of my old and destroyed pics to ben and it came back like it had been taken the same day me and my partner were both in tears took 3 days wich luckily was just in time for Mother’s Day 10/10 thanks ben can’t fault you ❤️

Would give this company negative stars if I could

Edit: I was finally issued a refund. Thank you Kim. But my review still stands as per the below!

Sorry but it’s a bit of a novel! But I want to warn others against this company and horrendous lack of service!

So I reached out to Ben by his business email in August (2nd time contacting him) and asked if he could restore some photos of my sister with my mom, and also manipulate a photo to put the 2 together from my sisters wedding as she didn’t have a photo of just the 2 of them from that day. We had lost our mom in Jan 2021 to Covid and it was my sister’s first bday w/o her.

I heard nothing; I assumed it was because he was so busy, I was always seeing his posts on insta.

Contacted him again in mid/late Oct. He said that’s fine here we’re his bank details, they were his personal one as he didn’t have a business account finalised yet. This should have been the first red flag! I had found more photos to get restored 1st order was for 10 photos. He said they were all fine, and I paid £350. I had seen the work he had done was so excited to see our old grainy photos from the early 80’s restored, this excitement got the better of my judgement!

Beginning of Nov comes, I chase the order “2 more weeks and they’ll done”he says; excellent I thought, I mentioned I found 4 photos I’d like restored from the 50’s. He said that’s fine, I paid another £140! He emailed me mid November with a photo finished (one that was mentioned as a reference only for another photo), saying “they’re coming along nicely, few more days and they’ll be done!”

Few more days go and nothing. So I want until mid/late Nov, he replies “so glad you emailed me I lost your order, I can find it now and finish it”.

He sorry lost my order? How do you loose an order?

Dec comes, 6 weeks since initial order, I email him chasing that’s when he went radio silent on me, I would email but no reply. I emailed every few days for 2 weeks nothing.

I had to send him a consumer rights act letter saying “do my order or refund please” he signed for the letter but didn’t reply. Christmas and New Years come and go, nothing.

I send another letter again in Mid Jan of this year as that’s what Citizens Advice Bureau advices. He signed it again and I made damn sure to email it to him. 1 week after my letter saying “complete my order, refund me or my last resort is to take you to court.” He reply. Saying he has dyslexic and it’s been difficult for him to comprehend my letters, as well as he hasn’t been keeping track of his orders and it’s his first business etc. Okay well even you should know Ben that if you have an issue fulfilling orders you shouldn’t accept more and should inform customers on your socials that you are struggling. But no, you seem to be fine doing restorations for a bunch of celebrities, most of which I am sure never asked for these to be done, you did it to get access to their followers for more business.

Still no order, I send one final letter in Feb saying “you have 2 weekscomplete my order anyways or refund my £490 for the 2 orders, or we can have a 3rd party mediate to get me my order or I am taking you to court”, I emailed this and sent via insta as well. he replies saying he will do my order, he ignored the 3rd option to mediate and I said you are giving up that rights. He completes all but 3 pics saying he cannot do them, the photos he does do, one of them he made all my sisters and I brunettes. The photo clearly shows I’m a red head and my other sister is blonde and the 3rd one who is slightly sun damaged you can see she is also red head. But I thought screw it I’ll fix that myself!

For the 3 he couldn’t do he said he would give me a refund. Nothing, chased and he said “I’ll do it today” NOTHING.

He posts a review her saying here’s my number contact me and I’ll send a refund to those who need it. I contact him he says he’s done it. NO REFUND RECEIVED!

I’m sick of his lies and excuses, Ben I have been more than patient and it’s been now 6 months since my order and I’m waiting on a £105 refund. Just issue it!

I’m sick of you ignoring all these people here, claiming you are doing this for mental health awareness when you don’t realise this is detriment to your customers mental health when you take their money and don’t deliver their orders in full, to a good standard or at all and then have the audacity to say “I’ll give you a free photo etc” it’s not a feee photo if we’ve paid already and not gotten our money back. I’ll contact your email address you have been pasting in your copy and paste reply and I hope you actually offer it without issue!

It doesn’t deserve any stars I have paid 70£ and have received nothing I have asked for my money back but to no avail this has to be a complete scam of some sort the Instagram photos are all of mainly celebrities where does he get them? Avoid at all costs

Hi there, Benjamin here, first of all I’d like to give you my sincere apologies that you have experience this. I am honestly truly sorry with all my heart.

My mine intention with the business is to bring happiness back to others and fight back on mental health, as many know. I never ever expected that I would have so much to deal with as just one person, it’s been truly overwhelming for me, I am also highly dyslexic and have never run my own business before and this is how this has happened and is not what I expected.

I know that this is no excuse for the service you have received here and I just wanted to give you some understanding of the high pressures and difficulties that I have been facing. This year I’ve worked 7 days a week and spent hours and hours of effort into this company wanting to fight back on mental health after the loss of my mother to suicide.

I would like to make amends with you and I ask of you to please help me bring all this right, by giving us another chance. I’ll give you a full refund and also offer you one free photo at any point in time, at no cost to you.

Since dealing with your order, I’ve been fortunate enough to seek expert advice and implement a system that will help me correct any errors like this, and to make sure that this will never happen again.

Average, you’ll get your pics back but….

I imagine if you are lucky to send a photo when their not busy, you’ll get a prompt, polite service and then rate as excellent. However, let’s be clear this is just someone who has an app and a hobby that has gone viral from Instagram - not a proper set up business yet. As such I’d rate as average based on my end to end experience. I didn’t really get anything, apart from a very transactional, fairly polite communication. Once I’d transferred the money, sent the pictures I heard nothing, in fact I did all the chasing and some responses were quicker than others. I honestly thought I’d been very stupid and lost my £70. I was overly friendly as didn’t want to upset him (after seeing some reviews and his responses) in case I didn’t get my pictures. My first picture just landed in my Instagram messages, no mention of the second or when it would be ready - I got the feeling as I was chasing he didn’t really put much of an effort into my pictures - they were okay.
If this is a serious business, a proper consultation before parting with any money is needed, set up an online order form, with exact timelines and be clear what the service is an what to expect as a customer. Overpriced for what I got. I’ll be looking for another business that does this in the future to compare.
