I find Beam very useful and helps me to focus on the meeting at hand. I can provide my direct report with my full attention and really home in on key aspects of any meeting. Absolutely love it!

Have just used Beam Notes for the first time and very impressed at how easy it is to set up and record meeting.
The minutes produced of the discussion - after just 5 mins or less - are comprehensive/detailed and split into headings/paragraphs addressing the different issues raised during the discussion - outcomes also clearly laid out. I look forward to exploring more options this service provides. Highly recommend it.

The notes are detailed, written in a professional and empathic manner, they write directly to the parent and child when asked to and save me so much admin time.

Beam Notes in Adult Social Care – Practitioner Perspective.

I work in Adult Social Care within a newly established prevention team, where we have adopted Beam Notes alongside a bespoke template tailored to our service needs.
This template enables Beam Notes to securely record assessment visits conducted in individuals’ homes, with their consent. The impact of this has been significant. While Beam Notes captures the conversation, practitioners are able to focus entirely on engaging with the individual—ensuring that all relevant areas are explored thoroughly and that responses are captured naturally and accurately. This has noticeably improved rapport and the overall quality of interactions.
One of the key benefits is the time saved. Because Beam Notes produces structured outputs aligned to our template, the need for extensive write-up is greatly reduced. Although, like all AI tools, it requires practitioner oversight, accuracy checking, and some editing, the initial output is typically very accurate. As a result, finalising notes for entry into the case management system takes minimal time.
Another strength is that conversations can flow naturally. There is no need to follow a rigid questioning style, as Beam Notes intelligently organises and themes the content according to the selected template. This supports a more person-centred, natural dialogue during assessments.
I have used Beam Notes regularly on my mobile device during client visits and would highly recommend its use within Adult Social Care settings, particularly for community-based assessments.
It is worth noting that Beam Notes is sometimes described as an “app” in reviews; however, it is actually a web-based platform.

It has become a valuable tool for my work and saves me so much time. Also frees up the meeting so I am fully engaged and makes it much more person centred

I find Beams very helpful. I was able to focus on the discussions during the visit without worrying about key information being missed. This is a must have for all.

It is a great service that really supports my neurodiversity needs and role and makes my admin so much easier, leaving me the time to do meaningful work with my families and give a much-needed work-life balance.

love magic notes i know its called beam now but to alot of us it is still magic notes, but what ever it is called it is total game changer , it has cut down my admin time and is far more elequent then my own vocabulary.

Amazing, taken the pressure and time out of writing notes/minutes. Accurate and informative.

Magic notes has improved my assessments by capturing even minute details. it makes assessment more informal giving the client a more relaxed assessment and engaging conversation. Magic note will adjust information in many ways. I love it.

I have used Magic Notes for a variety of purpose
1. Recording integrated assessments
If service user prefers not to be recorded, then I can record by hand and then read into magic notes who can type up quicker than I can
2. Recording team meetings
3. Recording supervision sessions.

Beamnotes is a fantastic service that has made a real difference to how I work. As someone who is dyslexic and dyspraxic, I’ve always found dictation helpful, and Beamnotes makes it so much easier to record conversations, edit notes, and use the templates provided.

It’s an incredibly useful tool for creating accurate, well-structured notes, and it fits neatly with company policies and practices. While I still review and edit everything to make sure it reflects my own wording, Beamnotes gives me a brilliant foundation to work from and saves me a huge amount of time and effort.

The accuracy is impressive, and I especially value being able to quote specific points from conversations. Overall, it has made note-taking much less complicated and far more manageable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone considering it — 10 out of 10 from me.

you do have to sometimes ask to change wording a few times.

I’ve been a social worker for nearly 30 years. In all that time, this is singularly, after the invention of the computer and the floppy disk, the best thing we have been given as a profession to enhance our work. Its not even about the time it saves which is significant! It’s about the way in which I can now sit and have meaningful active listening conversations without having to constantly write things down. The summary it provides is highly accurate in most cases. It picks up the tone and pace of the conversation and actively manages to disregard chit chat and information of no relevance. Well done to the creators of this! Absolutely brilliant!

this tool is amazing , and gives me time to be more in the room with my clients as i don't have to think about what we are talking about the sessions now seem more fluid

I’ve recently started using Beam Notes and I’m already seeing a huge difference in my workflow. As a new user, it has reduced my admin time by around 50% so far, which has made day-to-day work much more efficient and less stressful.

Saves time; spell out unusual names when necessary

Before making case notes was terribly hard, even with things like copilot to support rewriting your notes it was reliant on information taken by yourself and ultimately information and substance was lost. This is so practical for social workers and even helps pull things into case note templates with further prompts and easy to copy and paste where required. I have noticed when I am using my summaries to pull together MASH triage outcomes my analysis and decision making overall is much more professional and considered. I think the outcome for children and families will be amazing.

Magic Notes records the conversations I have with customers and can be used with specific Social Care templates. This makes it easy for me to collect information during face-to-face meetings, so that I don't have to take lengthy handwritten notes, and allows me to pay more attention to your customers.
I have dyslexia, Magic Notes is especially helpful because it lets me rephrase details as needed.
Since I started using Magic Notes, my workday is much smoother, and I no longer need my annual software subscription that I have previously needed to help me with report writing.
