The bags are useable, and designs attractive but they are of moderate quality and made in China. Nothing like what they purport to be. Worth £10 each. No more.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam, the bag is cheap plastic with a picture on it, no quilting whatsoever, total ripoff
Scam - avoid!
Unfortunately, I realised after ordering that this is a scam. I have now seen the identical bags advertised on different websites including Maples Stitches, SnugNest, Mega Craft, Madison Elara, Sarah- Cambridge, Temu, Maison Elara, Linda & Susan Atelier, Amazon & Curveline. There are probably more! The adverts are false, inaccurate & misleading. I received my bag today which (like other customers have described) is certainly not hand made & has been cheaply produced - probably in China. Hopefully, Trading Standards will catch up with them.
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. THE GOODS ARE NOT AS SHOWN IN all their photographs and reviews. I immediately tried to return and sent 4 emails in 3 days with no reply. There is no contact form with the goods delivered. No way to return, no return address. THIS IS A SCAM. The ladies holding the advertised bags are not holding what is delivered. I don't think there is a dear lady in Hay on Wye making them . The label codes looked like a warehouse order.
Completely false advertising
Completely false advertising. I do not believe these bags were made by one woman above a shop in Hay-On-Wye, I’m cross I fell for the SCAM, Like others I would give zero stars. My bag arrived today weeks after the order. It is definitely NOT hand stitched, as a sewer myself I know the difference between machine stitching and hand stitching. Clearly it has been made and shipped from China. Why don’t they just sell the bags for what they are instead of pretending they are hand crafted in the UK. It says 30 day money back but I am not hopeful.
ABSOLUTE SCAM
ABSOLUTE SCAM, SCAM, SCAM 💯 % false advertising.
Definitely not hand stitched above a book shop in Hay on wye nothing artisan about these bags. Not fast shipping as they are mass produced in China & come from China. You think 🤔 your getting a bargain from expensive beautiful hand stitched padded hand crafted bags when infact there cheap thin nylon machine made. If bought in sale NON REFUNDABLE OR RETURNABLE
Another con
As same as other people have said, not what I expected, i.e. not quilted and not made in the UK. Took a while to arrive, I have complained about the quality now they are asking me to send pics which i have, I've also requested a refund. Charlatans. They're not listed on Companies House, thinking of contacting Trade and Standards don't know what they can do?
RIP off
There’s nothing hand-crafted about the bag I just received, it’s ok but obviously cheaply and machine made, just printed fabric with machine stitching across it to resemble quilting.
I was definitely overcharged for this item. Feel foolish and ripped off.
DO NOT USE!!
I would give no stars if that was an option
Poor quality product, definitely not as described and in the sale reduced at £30, I wouldn’t give £5 for it never mind £100 at full price . Plus when you read their returns policy’s they do not allow returns on sale products so as a pensioner I’m stuck with 2 bags I bought for presents for my sister and sister in law that I definitely cannot give them and having to purchase other gifts to give them.
It’s a total scam of a site, never seen Hay on Wye in Wales as the tracking started in China, and very poor inferior product. It’s a shame you can’t post pictures on trustpilot as the product looks nothing like the advertisement.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Total Rip Off
Would it were possible to give zero/negative stars. Can only fully endorse every other review here as have had exactly the same experience. Suspicions aroused when I tracked my handcrafted, quilted bag's delivery progress to find it had arrived on an international flight - from Wales! - and cleared customs. Bag bears no resemblance to the advertised item, apart from the design - plastic/nylon, mass produced inferior quality item. On complaining and requesting either a full refund or an item of the exact type and quality advertised, I got a quick response citing difficulties with a production partner and asking me to provide photos of the bag I received. These were sent, along with a further request for a refund. Their response to this and subsequent refund requests to date - total silence. Will write it down to experience but if you are reading reviews prior to ordering - would that I had done the same!- please don't go anywhere near this company!! Total rip off.
I'd give minus zero stars if I could
I'd give minus zero stars if I could. What a con! Extremely poor quality goods which are not made in the UK. Furious with myself for falling for this. I've since seen the same products advertised for sale under different business names but the sites are identical in detail. Facebook have refused to do anything about it. Definitely not the lovely items I hoped to gift to family.
This is a scam
This is a scam
Printed not embroidered bags and fully AI advertised
I was shipped via Evri from China a flat cheap plastic/nylon bag
Hides behind a London mailing address
Advertised as a company in Hay-on Wye…
Advertised as a company in Hay-on Wye making quality stitched and quilted bags.
Nonsense……. The bags come from China and they do not resemble the bags on the website at all. Total waste of money.
I should have read the reviews
I should have read the reviews - totally agree with them - it's a scam. Delivery took a long time and, according to tracking, was being shipped from outside the country and not made in Hay-on-Wye as per the false advertisement. If I could show a photograph of the badly stitched, low quality bag I would as its laughable in comparison to the bag advertised.
What a disappointment
What a disappointment - flat, thin and cheap. Don’t believe a word on the website.
Very very disappointed
Very very disappointed. Beautiful pictures of product of a quality bag. The bag arrived and I was very disappointed, basic stitching across the design, no raised padding, eyes etc. Not good and a rip off. Don't buy
This is a scam company
This is a scam company. Do not buy - you will receive a cheap and nasty bag which is not quilted and is not made in Hay on Wye - drop shippers. I unfortunately bought one of these bags and asked to return. I was offered 30% off then 50% off. I decided to accept the 50% off as it was preferable to receive something rather than spend £20 on postage to send back to China as this was pointed out to me in the message from oh so nice Olivia. However to date 2 weeks on I have neither received the 50% nor a return label despite having sent several messages to this bogus Company. How are these people getting away with this. I resolve from now on never ever to buy without reading reviews first. Expensive mistake.
Buyer Beware
Buyer beware. Two bags took longer than expected to arrive. When they did the package felt lightweight and small. On opening I was presented with two cheap-looking plastic bags with printed on pattern, not handcrafted or quilted. Very disappointed did not look like they were made in Hay-on-Wye. One of the handles was incorrectly attached. Emails rejecting the purchase resulted in request for photos, no return address was provided, eventually a 30% refund and “keep the bags” was offered. When this was rejected a 50% refund and “keep the bags” was offered. By this time I’d had enough so accepted the refund.
Website is really really dishonest
Website is really really dishonest. The bags are nice enough, but bear only a passing resemblance to the pics on the website. They are not made in small batches in England. They are shipped from abroad, almost certainly mass produced in China.
I feel a bit foolish for believing it, as it now seems really obvious.
Ah, hindsight.
That said, I bought them as gifts to use as beach bags and they work fine for that…
I fell for this scam and I’m kicking…
I fell for this scam and I’m kicking myself for being so naive. They say item has been delayed but won’t refund money or cancel item. I realise it’s not coming from Hay on Wye, very near me, and wish I’d seen these reviews first. Why doesn’t FB stop this scam? Or if there is a genuine company in Hay then they’re being sadly misrepresented.
