Customer Service at it's best
Right from my initial contact in the metrocentre branch the service has been faultless.
It was a special purchase for my husbands 60th birthday & on speaking the Matty in Middlesborough he was extremely helpful & offered so much information around the items I was considering, nothing was too much trouble for him. Even couriering them for me to decide upon to the metrocentre branch where the staff were also so helpful & made me feel like my custom was important to them.
All the staff from Matthew in Boro to the Gentleman who served me instore today I can't fault any of them.

Never received the bangle .Purchased…
Never received the bangle .Purchased online from in sale on Xmas Day .. waited till 2nd Jan still hadnt received so called them to be told they are out stock and couldn’t provide which is annoying because I could of purchased else where in the sale but missed out because I didn’t know & they took my money .. won’t be shopping with them again .Did give them another option of the gold one but failed with that too .

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your experience. However, we would like to clarify the timeline of events as some of the details you have shared are not entirely accurate.
Your order was placed on Christmas Day. As clearly stated via our website at the time of purchase, our Head Office was closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, resulting in a short delay with reviewing orders placed over the bank holiday.
As soon as we reopened and identified that the bangle ordered was unfortunately out of stock, we contacted you via email on 30th December to inform you - not on the 2nd January as stated in your review.
Following this, you asked whether the bangle was available in a gold tone. We advised that we don't stock the item in gold, and the only alternative available was the rose gold tone. As such, we are sorry if there was any misunderstanding, but we did not 'fail' to provide an alternative that was not part of our online product offering.
We understand how frustrating it can be to miss out on a sale item and regret the disappointment caused. Your feedback is much appreciated and helps us continue to improve how we communicate during peak holiday periods.

Professional, polite and friendly staff
I went into market cross jewellers on Teesside park before Christmas and was met with a lovely friendly assistant she was so professional and extremely knowledgeable in her work she couldn’t do enough for me I believe she was called Jess, I was looking at buying some nominations for my two sisters and also mentioned I’m wanting a nice watch for my husband and she helped me hugely with her professional advice so big thank you Jess I’ll be back in again soon she is a credit to the company

I went in today too ask if they could make my late grandmas ring smaller to fit me what she left me, she had a face straight as a pin and straight away said ‘ well we can only go down 5 sizes otherwise there would be problems with the ring strength‘ without even knowing my actual ring size. Seemed as though I’d brought her a problem? She then said well you won’t get it back till after Christmas, I said I know that’s fine ? She said I think ur better off waiting or coming another time ? Like eh? Then I asked for a price estimate and she said very sharply that she doesn’t know and that would be a estimate after it was sent off, no smiles, no customer service just pure rude , after my grandma only passing 2 weeks ago I thought I’d be greeted with some compassion maybe but it felt like she couldn’t be bothered to help me and just wanted me to go somewhere else. I will never again go to this shop dissapointed is an understatement she’s actually ruined my day as I can’t go tell my grandad I’m any further forward. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t hide your moods or smile!

Great a service as always from Market Cross Jewelers
Called intoMarket Cross jewellers Guisborough to have watch strap repaired, it was going to have to be sent off for pin fitted ,this could take 6 weeks,lady in shop saidI could take link out of strap instead ,but this may make strap too small.She said I could do it now,she did this and watch still fits perfectly. What great service.saving me a great deal instead of sending it away for repair.Have used Market Cross in past,always great friendly knowledgeable staff. Thanks Neil Wheldon
