I was happy with the better late than never ties we received, dissatisfied with the delay etc and it kind of got to me when after all the messing around another invoice for delivery was raised I think if this was waived it would have sweetened the experience. I know the mistakes were not intentional or McDades mistake but it was McDades I was making the purchase from

Firstly, I would like to apologies for the delay on your order. We pride ourselves with high standards and are glad you are happy with the final product. On rare occasions our strict production process can be delayed if the initial sample is not correct requiring it to be re-sampled. At the time, this was explained to you by myself, and I thought you had taken on board that re-sampling would add time on thus delaying your order. We instructed our weavers to turn this around quickly but were in turn let down badly. This is rare but can happen. As owner of McDade’s, I cannot allow our standards to drop and at no stage will I allow for cloth samples to go through production that are not 100% correct. It is part of the production process and faults do occur (we are human). I am sorry that we have let you down and we will endeavour to make sure this does not happen again.
On completion of your order, you were notified the order was ready for collection as per your instructions and upon your request it was changed to postage as you were unable to collect. The secondary invoice was raised for payment on transport charges, and at that point you agreed to the extra charges. Please feel free to contact me at your leisure to discuss and find a suitable solution that can be implemented.

First International Caps for Surfing
We used McDade's to produce our first ever Scottish International caps for Surfing to recognise our outstanding athletes who have been selected to surf for Scotland. Could not have been happier with the product or service and the caps were fantastically well received at our first athlete award ceremony during our 50th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Scottish Surfing Federation in 2025.

An excellent product and great service
An excellent product (presentation rugby caps) delivered on time and at short notice. I wouldn't suggest anyone else does this at short notice but I'm very glad they could do it for us this time. Also, as a first timer placing an order, though the club has purchased before, I found the process was very good and I was able to talk through my instructions by phone. Very good service. thanks
