Spoke to jake from mcrbikes last week viva email responding quickly and effectively no messing about. We soon spoke on the phone not long after and to night I met jake for the first time and what a lovely friendly lad, very knowledgeable to. Would recommend.

I found Mcrbikes on Instagram, and loved their content. Jake from mcrbikes spoke to me and recommended a great budget bike, the Boardman MHT. After discussing it, I believed the bike was right for me. I then purchased the bike off their website and within 3 days of purchase, the bike had arrived at my doorstep. The packaging was superb and customer service was great. Will be back in the future!

My experience with Mcrbikes was brilliant. Jake went out of his way to make the whole process of valuing and selling my bike very easy and transparent. I got a fair price and would definitely use Mcrbikes again.

Customer service was great. Took my DH bike in for a full service and needed a new crankset on there. I interacted with Jake from Mcrbikes. He was a top guy, very friendly and easy to get along with. He was telling me about the business he has been running since he was 16 and explaining to me about how it is a very big passion of his. Very easy to get along with. He then completed the service within a day of me dropping the bike and it felt like new. Installed the new crank set and the job was done. Would recommend and I will be coming back in the future.

I would highly recommend Jake if you want to sell your bike, emails were responded to quickly and overall top bloke would use again if needed in the future.

I contacted them last week regarding 2 bikes I wanted to sell.

They were very unresponsive taking ages to reply after the initial reply. I sent them one chase message and then finally I gave them a call after 3 days of no answer.

I said it would be good to know either way if they were interested or not.

The quote that they sent me felt like they were taking advantage of me. They wanted £600 for the two bikes. One of them was brand new worth £1000 and the other one was in perfect conditions from 2019 worth now around £500.

I replied to negotiate and said that it was very unreasonable and then again no reply from them.

The feedback for them is:
1) Be responsive with your customers if you are and if you are not interested in the offer
2) Be reasonable with your pricing/quotes and don’t try to take advantage of people. Or at least explain your position.

Overall my experience with this company was very disappointing and I hope this feedback encourages them to improve.

I was selling a bike I no longer used, I contacted Jake from mcrbikes yesterday and he turned up this morning with an offer I couldn't refuse, upon talking to Jake I learnt a little more about the business he's established, wether it's selling, buying or repairing your bike I couldn't recommend mcrbikes enough, top lad honest and very respectful

Excellent customer service the bike I bought was as described and the delivery was spot on. I was kept informed throughout the whole process by Jake who was friendly and efficient I would not hesitate to buy another bike from them. Recommended

Fast pleasant transaction from Jake when he bought my sons bike
