Untruths
This company are rouges. Ive emails and messages but theyre all to no avail. They even offered me a 25% refund as a gesture of good will. £69 isn't alot of money to some people it is to me. Elena is quick to reply but its all false.
Lying cheats
The product itself work oķ for what you pay but they do have a hiss but I only use them for watching TV there was a problem with my order snd was promised some ££ returned to my PayPal account 3 months on and countless emails still nothing
stay well away
would give Zero Stars if it was possible, constant whisle from the hearing aids and they do not amplify the full range , high frequencies are not catered for at all. When I tried to return them under the promised warranty I was told I had to return them tracked to China which would cost a lot and reading their terms and conditions I find they will also deduct the original shipping charge from the refund, how much they will keep is not stated. wish I had found this review page before ordering, my advice stay well away

Hearing devices hiss and do not amplify and there is terrible feedback. Like others, told to return them to China (at great cost) for a refund - and if I did I doubt that one would be made. Even though less than £100 I will try to get a refund through my card company, but anyone thinking of buying through HearMel (and they are advertising many different ones) beware!! Note: they are also being sold under different names - including Hearmel.
Think seriously before buying these hearing aids
I have very narrow ears and purchased these only to find out you must return them to China, which is where they are manufactured, costing £19 from UK (no mention of that on their advert). If you look on Trust Pilot under Meluxa (this is who they really are) you will see 1-star reviews. Even if you do decide to send them back, they sit in customs for up to 2 months and then they return them to you and Meluxa refuses to give a return label. They advertise as a UK company but when I asked for their UK address three times, they refused to give it to me, I believe because there is no UK address. Their UK contact number is a mobile number (red flag). They offered me a 25% refund if I kept them, basically charging me £51.75 for something that is of absolutely no use to me. I have not returned them as I want a full refund. I have reported them to Facebook.

If possible lije all the others would give no stars if possible for a start they advertise as hear aids they aren’t they are amplifiers they are also rubbish high pitched screeches white noise they don’t fit comfortably in ears in fact they are a piece of cr*p . Have been trying for 3 months to get a refund same story as all the others offered 25% to keep them said no offered 40% said no offered 50% and as I am fed up hearing same old excuses from Elena who is obviously a bot they have now blocked my emails and still no refund have contacted my bank today hoping they can help me as a pensioner get my money back .

HearMel defective hearing aid
I hope many customers of the Hearing Aid Device by HearMel, get great satisfaction of their purchase, £69. I didn’t.
I accept that any manufacturing process occasionally can include a defective item; unfortunately my Hear Mel was it!
I reported this to the supplier HearMel and expected an apology, a return label and 100% refund.
I got an apology and lots of questions and proposals:
- keep the product and get 25% as a goodwill gesture;
- keep the product and get 40% “or perhaps pass it on to someone who might benefit from it”.
I never got the promised 100% refund.

Shocking scam
Shocking scam, please stay away. I requested a refund as the product is huge and didn’t sit in my ears. It’s too expensive to return the product as the return address is in Beijing. They offer a 40% refund and keep the product but nothing comes of it - emails from a robot called Elena saying it is being escalated but nothing - 4 months and 10 emails later I am sadly giving up! So annoyed with myself for falling for it!
Possible company operatimg a scam for hearing aids
the company seems to be a scam based opertion. I ordered a set of hearing aids and they took a good while to arrive. I had a tracking facility that din't work/ I contacted the company and asked where they wer and they effectivley told me thy were on their way but gave no information. The comany states on their advert thet they are a UK based company. Tis is true except the goods come from a Chinese comany and despatched directly from China.The did eventually riive but just didn;t work in the way tat the advert said they would. I tried to contact the company but it was difficult with no direct telephone number nor an address. I eventually found an email address and told them I wanted a refund in accordance with their 60 day no quibble refund policy. Thats when the interesting stuff started. I explained why they were not suitable and they replied with severl things to try whic I did. But nothing changed the fat y=they just dod not peform as described. I asked fo my money back and an address label to send them back. I never got a lbel but got an offer od 25% discount if I returned them to China. I said no so they later offered a 40% discount which I have refused as they are no use to me. I am now waiting for an email to say where they should be returned to. I wont accept that I am responsible to send them back to Chine as I bought them from the UK which is what is stated in their advert. I still await their response. Since then I contacted my bank and have refistered a fraud complaint and I have had my money refunded via Visa and they will investigate the company to see if they say anything. I have all the proof of their delaying tactics in emails and of course all the posts on trustpilot. I believe they are a cam company most likely someone operating feom the back room, ordering in China and getting the items sent direct. However they appear to have a return address in this country which means you dont have to send them to China but to the address in the UK, however as most posts I have read no one has yet had any refund so I would suggest you contact the bank or credit card that you pid with and raise a fraud query. and let them have the hasle of trying to sort it out. I have my money pin in today and pending the investigation if I get the money from the company I then pay back what the bank has given me. I now await a response from the seller and the bank. The good thing is I now have my money back. My next step in a week or two is to contact Trading Standards to see what if anything they can do with a company scamming folk. For those of you waiting good luck with getting your money back
Don't believe the full refund quote
if you have to send back for whatever reason, don't bother just take the discounted refund they offer. I had to send back as they didn't work for me. Cost £15 to post back , sat in customs for 2 months then the plonkers sent the item back to me and I still didn't get a full refund. They won't give me a prepaid label to send back again as it is not their policy and have offered me a lousy 25% refund and told. me to keep the aids which didn't help my tinnitus at all and just made high pitched noises in my ears.

Dishonourable company
I ordered and received the hearing aids relatively promptly. They did amplify sounds but were producing feedback and or "white noise" during quiet periods, i.e. I was hearing noise when there was no noise to hear.
So I opted to take advantage of their 60 day money back promise. This is where it all goes wrong. Having applied for a refund they said that they would offer a 25% refund "as a goodwill gesture". So I said no, then there was a return offer of 40%. Again I rejected it and eventually they said they would refund 50%. Which I reluctantly accepted especially considering the costs of returning the item to China! However their latest email states they are going to process a refund of 25%. Which was not what I agreed to. I have subsequently emailed them to say that I think I have been "ripped off" but no reply to that one, yet! Surprise, surprise!

Very short life
The hearing aids supplied were initially quite good, but after about a dozen uses they were completely useless with absolutely no sound coming through.

A disgraceful company. Effectively taking money from the most vulnerable (mainly pensioners who can least afford it) for a shoddy item that does not do what it says on the box! Or follow the promises they purport on line, about refunds. Just wasting time,. rather more seriously, I believe they could be handing over card and bank details to another company. Just returned from my bank trying to trace a fraudulent payment taken, bearing no relation to me
