£10 for postage and then they take £15 off for a return. I lost £25 on postage fees for one dress worth £80. Won’t ever buy again

Very similar experience to many other reviews. The return was extremely expensive due to additional fees that were not made clear at checkout.

When I emailed to query why my refund was so much lower than expected, customer service repeatedly avoided being upfront. Initially, I was told the amount charged was simply the remainder of my order. After several back-and-forth emails, they finally clarified that it was due to additional fees/taxes.

To add to the confusion, I was first told I had not been charged for the return, then later informed in a separate email that I had in fact been charged £15 for return shipping. The information provided was inconsistent and unclear throughout.

Overall, this was a very poor and stressful experience. I have effectively paid around £110 for a £55 dress. I would not order again.

Delivery took much longer than they described. Won't refund for duties and charge £14 for returns so hugely out of pocket if an item needs to be returned. Would not recommend if outside UK

Never order from here! Just had to pay 90 pounds just to return dresses (tax and duties apparently) absolute joke.

Very disappointed with Meshki. My dress arrived damaged and instead of a full refund and free return (as any decent brand would do), they refused a proper return and only offered 30% of the whole purchase! Won’t order again and don’t recommend them if you care about quality and customer service.

You can't return, exchange or even get store credit for Final Sale items. The items aren't clearly marked and there is no mention of this at checkout before you make the purchase, even though it says in their FAQs that there should be.

Now stuck with a dress that completely doesn't fit and isn't as expected which I wouldn't have purchased if it was made more obvious before payment that it couldn't be returned.

Everyone knows how hard it is to purchase a dress online. You always have to get a few options and see which one fits best. Well don’t bother purchasing it from Meshki.
They’ve charged me £52 for the return. Never ever shopping from them.

Absolutely appalling customer service, extremely high fees to return items. Poor quality clothes. Stay away from this brand. Misinformation of their website. Meshki is awful.

To start off the issue with my review is not based on the clothes, the issue relates to the return policy, faulty items, fees and taxes. I live in the UK, and I understand that for us customers we have to pay more delivery expenses, but if in any cases the sizes are not met and need to change size, or if you receive a faulty item, you will be charged duties and taxes on your return and deducted from you return.

As much as I like the styles, It’s just not worth the hassle or loss of money and I therefore will not be ordering again, unless there are consideration to worldwide buyers, and I advise all to be aware before making an order.

DONT BUY FROM THEM!!! They should make it more clear that if you return from the uk, you have to pay over £14!! They instead hide this all the way at the bottom of the returns page in small print. Horrible quality of clothing and and not worth the price tag!

After all of there ridiculous fees, a £72 refund became £48. What a joke. Never buying from Meshki again and will never recommend.

Horror returns process and wish I read the reviews beforehand .

Such a shame as I really liked one of the dresses I bought and only wanted to return the other.

I had issues printing the return label so reached out to their customer services team. Was told I could ask Royal Mail to print the label, tried that and obviously they couldn’t without a QR code.

Went back to them and they said I could ask Royal Mail to scan the top left barcode on the label and they would be able to print. Tried this again and obviously this didn’t work.

Then received an email to state my return was being processed . I reached out AGAIN and was told they’ll be back in contact within 48 hours. Not heard anything and reached out to their chat with no response .

I now have the label printed and due to send the package off tomorrow .

The worst service I’ve ever received from a brand .

Avoid as they charge a significant return fee and do not refund your taxes despite using a European depot. This cost €28 on a €103 dress. They operate out of Australia and treat you as such.

I wish I had read the reviews!! Brought a dress to try on for my wedding reception dress that was £225 , just checked my receipt and got charged £252 as the added taxes! And then have to pay for a return so I am only getting £200 back! Disgusting , will be disputing this with the company as it’s day light robbery. Also the dress was poor quality and poor fit. Folded in , no boning and material is scratchy

I have received my refund to find it £75 short (the price of an entire product) which has been explained as “duties” taken by the government this turns out to be an invisible charge I paid initially when checking out. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company & have had it returned so I urge anyone who has suffered the same thing to do the same.

Very disappointing experience. I wasn’t refunded the import duties after returning my order from the UK, and the return shipping fee was unreasonably high. Thus level of service and transparency is unacceptable.

Extremely poor quality for the price. As an online-only store, they seem to rely on making money from returns (for example, not refunding VAT, which is illegal), as they know they cannot hope for repeat customers. If you want to lose money, you’re better of gambling it away than spending it here.

If I could give a zero, I would. They don’t allow returns if you bought a final sale or if you used discount. I paid £15 for shipping and the sizes are off. I should burn these dresses down! so useless customer service. It should go be out of business.
