I want to start off by saying that I purchased the Metabolic Mastery Club Membership. I have had it for over two years. I did not buy any of the supplements or anything physical product. With my membership I get a monthly workout plan and meal plan. I do not do the meal plan but I do the workouts via youtube videos. I love them. They kick my butt and I have lost over 30 pounds and at 42 I am in excellent shape now. Not the best I have ever been (that was with a live in person trainer) but being able to do these workouts at home is a life saver. They range from 9-20 mins and really give you a way to burn fat and gain muscle. They give modifications and all you need is a mat and dumbells (or start off with just body weight and work up to the weights)

I am answering the question "Does it work?" In my experience, yes, it does and helps you create a personal sustainable approach to managing your diet and exercise.

I bought the base programme in 2020 for $37. It is a combination of an eating and exercise approach with an emphasis on doing what works for you, starting gently if required, building up to the step count and full exercise, and making sure you understand the importance of resting.

I did not follow it to the letter, neither did I use any protein powders (completely unnecessary in my opinion) or buy any add-ons. I also created my own menus, using ingredients available in the UK and food styles I enjoy.

Like most American on-line sales organisations, the sales process is too long, repetitive and completely unnecessary - I actually did my monthly work summary whilst it was running in the background! However, I found their customer services support very good. I accidentally ticked a monthly support option - this was refunded and removed immediately when I contacted them to say I didn't need it.

Here is my experience and results:

I more-or-less followed the eating bit and the walking. I didn't do many of the exercise sessions. I kept dipping in and out and eventually created my own routines that suited my life and willingness to exercise better.

I lost 16 kgs between May and October 2020 and, more importantly, less belly, thinner legs and arms and pulled my belt in 3 notches (eventually a new belt). I felt better and was sleeping better. I've kept going with this way of eating most of the time and have stuck to the "no sugar" or very little sugar in my case, as I still have a cup of proper tea first thing and put a bit in that. In the intervening 4 years, I have kept 10 to 12 of those 16 kgs off!

I'm giving it 3 stars, as the programme does work, but the hard sell process of signing up ruins the whole experience.

I bought the product a year ago. Am not satisfied and when I purchased it there was a 100% refund, no matter how long you held the product nor how much was left. Well, they have changed the guarantee to 30 days and would not honor the contract from a year ago. Should have known...

I had amazing results with this exercise program. I started it in 2018 and have continued it, with some breaks here and there. I did not follow the eating plan. I was already eating in a healthy way, healthy carbs but not excessive, healthy protein, including meat, and lower sugar fruits and veggies. But still allow myself "cheats". About a month and a half into the workouts, I began intermittent fasting. Before I finished the 12 week, I HD dropped 2 sizes and was more fit and lean than all the years I spent in the gym working out with a lot of weights, doing the stair machine and playing racquetball. When I began, I was 63. I am also on thyroid meds. I was very faithful to the protocol. Even when I went off course for life reasons, as soon as I would get back on track, the results were the same. Jade's SHMEC promise was 100% spot on. It was like magic. I have shared my experience with many people. I had little interaction with the site except for reading the info about my hormone type, diet tips, etc, so I cannot speak to that. If people are looking for an easy fix and don't plan to make a lifestyle change, it won't work any better than any other program out there. However, these workouts offer real science info throughout, regarding the"magic" behind each video. I've not seen this anywhere else. I also vetted the science myself. Each video has 2 modifications for all exercises and there is a private FB page for asking questions of the MR people. One hope is that they come out with new videos for those doing this long- term to avoid boredom. I am a fan!

They auto renew your products and then you have to pay to return them. They hassle you to buy products and then when you don't want them they make you pay to send back. Ridiculous.

I lost weight and tuned up, it was easy and not time consuming. I think its awful that all of these reviewers never actually did the program.

I cancelled this program for 37.99 plus shipping and handling when I my credit card company alerted me that I was charged 482.39 I cancelled the same day and they sent me a shipment I refused the shipment via USPS and as soon as they received it they sent out another one via UPS! I have tried calling them until I am blue, I sent an email and got a shipping label it cost me over $24.00 to send it back that was September 3, 2023 I am still waiting for a refund! Please don't be as stupid as I was you can't cancel they don't honor the word "CANCEL ALL ORDERS" the same day it was placed! I know they received it on the same day because they replied to my email

So I gave it one star because I can't write anything without doing that. So I have to ask. I have read all the reviews that talks about customer service being horrible. That being said..I ordered this program like 5 yrs ago and it sat on a shelf. I have been working out with a trainer and have hit a plateau. After much research over the years, the information provided in the book makes sense. So my question is has anyone actually done this and does it work? One reviewer Alex said that it did, but I would like to hear from more people.

I had to select one star for this review, but, if I could, I would not give it any stars! I bought the program online for $67, which included the DVDs and the written information.

Then, the next day or so, a representative called me. He explained the full program and said that I needed to start taking the supplements, which are taylored to my hormonal type. He said that I had a money back guarantee with the program. So, I took the bait.

When the products came, I began taking them right away. Then I began to have abdominal cramping and, let's just say, ISSUES! So, I stopped taking them for about a week. My system went back to normal, and then I decided to try taking only one of the supplements, and at the lowest dose. Well, the cramping started again.

So, I stopped taking that one and tried the other, with the same results. Then, finally, the last supplement and that caused digestive issues also. So, I sent a message to the representative. No call back.

Then, I called his phone number, and waited on hold for about 40 minutes while listening to the same recording over and over. Finally, I gave up on that attempt. Then, a couple of days later, I tried again, but this time, I followed prompts to speak with a rep about receiving a return lable.

When I did speak with someone, she said that my 30 day limit had passed, so she could not authorize a refund or send me a lable. I explained that I had attempted way before my 30 days were up, but she said that in my file it says that I had spoken with someone and that person told me that my 30 days was up. That was not true! I don't know where to go with this now. But, buyer, beware!!

When you order online you can't go pass the 1st purchase until you purchase everything else they are offering. They charged me almost $300 for stuff I didn't want. Then they give you a hard time refunding your money.

I purchased the digital version of suggestions for 'my' hormone type. After the purchase, I had to wade through five upsell videos to finalize my purchase. I have not downloaded my purchase yet, but in the 72 hours since my purchase, I have received four emails AND three phone calls including voicemails. No. Nope. Nada. I'm done. UPSELL is the game here folks and it's ALL about the money! Just ask Tarryn Botes, Metabolic Scheduling Assistant. Over it.

Don’t waste your money. The videos are somewhat creepy as he cheers you on. Like someone I would completely avoid at the gym. Then you will get emails trying to get you to buy products because you may have low estrogen. The emails read as “is your belly drooping or your vagina drying out or you feel like a bloated, shapeless, sweaty old hag…”.
No time for age-shaming, misogyny that this programs delivers. (And that is all it delivers)

I was interested in the system and did purchase the initial $50 startup pack with the online course. My cart automatically offered additional products (protein powder, supplements ect.) and while I did add them, after reviewing my total cost ($151) and looking up some company reviews, I decided not to purchase the products and closed my browser WITHOUT checking out or agreeing to pay for the products.
Somehow, the site charged my card and shipped the products. I attempted to say that the charge was unauthorized via PayPal (since it was), but the claim was denied. Upon emailing the company *I work third shift, so calling during the day is difficult* I was directed to call customer service. Despite the misleading prompts, I did speak to a nice gentlemen who assured me that if I emailed they would send me a return label for the box, and once it was received, my refund for the total order would be processed. I emailed (again), and waited almost a week for a response, which was the same. Call the company. Frustrated, I called and explained to the woman what was going on. I understand these companies have a set script to read, but after I said no three times to keeping the products for increasing discounts I was more then irritated. I was put on hold to go to a 'retention specialist' for over 5 minutes, and then was back on the line with the same woman. Then she finally got to telling me about the return shipment and how I would be charged to send the box back to the company- despite never purchasing the products to begin with! Needless to say after a rather difficult conversation with the customer service representative, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold, yet again, and rather then speaking to someone above this woman, she came back to the line and said 'just this once I've been authorized to issue a return label free of charge'. I was then told that once the return was received, it would be two weeks to process my entire refund.
I can't begin to describe how salty I am over the whole experience. Goes to show you, always read the reviews BEFORE falling for their traps!

I bought the program to help as an anti inflammatory food program for arthritis and weight loss. I followed the food plan and exercise exactly for 45 days, while it helped with pain, I gained 9 pounds and developed kidney stones. My doctor said I was eating too much dark chocolate, spinach, kale, tea, almond milk, processed meat and nuts; this was a lot of the meal plan. My doctor suggested I look at the nutritional facts of the recipes and meal plan and make adjustments since it worked for pain. Metabolic Renewal does not have the nutritional facts and will not provide them. I joined the Facebook group which is supposed to be supportive for paying customers but they do not respond and will not post your questions/comments if they are not fully positive or inspirational! Natural health Sherpa does not stand behind their products, if you aren’t calling to buy more they hang up on you. Making any kind of return is impossible. The people running the Facebook page are very rude and disrespectful with their comments if you do not worship Dr Jada advice which often doesn’t even match Dr Jada’s advice in the book.

This company promises a lot and while yes, the actual hard work is on the client, they don't stand behind the very high priced products. The supplements take a scatter gun approach at you particular metabolic needs using Asian herbs and vitamin combinations. The shakes, that are "an important" in the weight loss journey, left me feeling shaky and hungry.

You have 30 days to return products that tout a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Well...keep your shipping insert cause it is pretty much the only way to find contact information on this company. If you use Flsocial media, you may be able to get them there, but I never could find the correct group on a regular basis.

I would not recommend them nor will I ever use them again. What a waste!

Complete and total scam. My credit card was charged for this “service” and I spent 4 months battling for a refund for this fraudulent charge. The company doesn’t answer phone calls or emails. I got my bank involved. I received an email confirmation that my refund was processed and I’d see that money in 5-7 days. Never got that money back and I can’t reach anyone at this scam company for help. I have reported them in hopes nobody else gets taken advantage of. $187 taken from my account without my knowledge or permission. We don’t even live in the state that the package was delivered to!! I’ll never see that money again! Please DO NOT give this company your credit card.

Oh wow, I came here to share that I found their aggressive marketing offputting, hoping they tone it down, but some people’s reviews are way worse!
I will leave a more detailed review than I intended.

For the context, I have spent years studying different aspects of wellness, longevity, metabolic health, etc. I keep many different data points about my weight, health and wellness (including private tests on cellular death, oxidative stress, gut microbiome, etc.) - yes I am a weird person.

Hormones were my next thing to learn about, as I am getting older.

I came across the promo video for this program and really struggled with delivery.

I deeply dislike fleshy, loud stuff like this. However, what he was saying was adding up with things I already knew, so I grudgingly kept going. How the info was presented made me doubt the credibility all the way through, but what he was saying kept making sense and passing the smell test, almost to my surprise.

Because of the presentation style, I was expecting him to say something ‘wrong’ so I could get a confirmation that this was nonsense. He didn’t, up until the end.

When I went to buy the program I didn’t like that they made address and phone number mandatory, so I left the page. However, after sleeping on it, I still felt that the info might be good, so I finished my purchase. I bought one of the most useful little books like this in the past and didn't want the seller's poorer marketing training to get in the way of me getting value.

I got the materials promised. It was A LOT of reading! I found the roadmap document quite interesting and helpful. I don’t know who would read and process this much, though! In my case, I already knew probably 80% from other books and programs I read/took before, but I still found it wasn’t a light read. I enjoyed how it brought together other bits of understanding I already had. Especially around different side effects of hormonal fluctuations, including the positive ones. The diet suggestions were very close to how I eat already, but still a good confirmation. I am still struggling to adapt the workouts, a bit too intense for my taste, but from what I know, it’s a good approach. I got good results from similar types of workouts in the past.

Though I don’t have much weight to lose, my goal has been to mostly recomposition (lose a bit of fat and replace it with muscle), not sure how well these would perform for weight loss goals alone.

After I got the program, a lady called me 6 times! I don’t pick up unknown numbers, so I discovered 6 voice messages later. I find this kind of thing extraordinarily annoying, so I blocked the number. Based on the calls, I think the cheap program is just a lead magnet to upsell something. Nothing wrong with that I guess, though it looks like they are scaring most of their potential customers early on.

I just felt I should mention this is not a scam, though it might be more what other people expect.

This company is bogus. They amke promises then when they co tact you they increase your price b_c you "need" supplements. And then when you wish to cancel they out you thru the ringer (even after 2-3 hrs upon researching their legitimacy)

SCAM!! I didn't even click to complete a transaction but had an immediate charge to my credit card!

This product has a very chemical after taste, but blends well. My one star is because they have no way to cancel your subscription on their website and just keep stealing my money. They won't let me cancel or edit / remove my payment method either. I feel like this is a scam.
