Update: I have become to really not like this wig specially for the price I paid, the hair is now going really wavy at the top (haven’t worn it at all apart to try it on every now and then, and I thought it was a permanent straightened one) the hair looks fried from all the short bits all over the style (unnoticeable), I recently got a wig off of Temu just to try it and it is synthetic however that wig is absolutely stunning, the hairline is beautiful and looks like scalp with any way you part it and sits really nice. I am beyond disappointed in this human wig specially since it’s my first one. I honestly wish I could get a refund and send the wig back. I’ll never wear it in public.

Original comment: The hair is definitely platinum and a beautiful colour, my order was delayed and customer service was great within my order. However, the wig I received does have a wave in it unlike it being straight in the picture (still beautiful), lots of short hair at the top of the wig that makes it look static, I don’t think they are meant to be “baby hairs”. After the lace finishes on the top and goes into the material where the wefts are sown in, you can see the weft as the hair doesn’t cover it well due to being really thin at that spot. For a sample wig at a massive discount it’s great but I also don’t see the value in it apart for being human hair. My synthetics that are also 180 density cover all the spots where the hair is sown in. I definitely would not pay $1500-$2000 for this wig, even $800 (w discount code) I’m left disappointed. Can not return due to cutting lace and glueing down to see if it made much change with the “static” flyaways and weft being seen.
I’m on the fence with this wig quite a bit, it’s very pretty but the other noticeable features don’t justify it.

I placed an order and spent over $1,000 with Milk & Honey Wigs. They claimed to have shipped my order on 21 August, but Australia Post confirmed the parcel was never physically lodged. The tracking has shown nothing for weeks.

After countless emails sent, I still haven’t received a response. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to push the burden onto me to investigate with Australia Post – an outrageous attempt to shift blame when they are the sender.

The result? No parcel. No refund. No accountability. Just silence.

Their handling of this order has been woeful, and my experience is clearly not unique given the number of similar reviews. This is not a one-off mistake – it’s a pattern.

If you value your money, avoid this company at all costs.

I purchased two wigs – one synthetic and one human hair from Milk and Honey on 3 April 2025. They had a sale and these wigs were both showing as ‘in stock’ on the website. I needed a wig urgently due to advanced hair loss, so I was happy to have these wigs asap.
What followed was a complete nightmare and I strongly urge others to take caution when buying from this company.
One minute the wigs are on the way, the next minute they have been “lost” by AusPost. I was told they would be replaced, and then never hear from the company, even after repeated attempts to contact them. Eventually they offered a store credit for the synthetic wig and to replace the human hair wig, even though I requested a number of times for my money back. By that point I didn’t even want these wigs as I had to go out and buy from a different company.
By July I reached out to some other people who had purchased from M&H, and to no surprise, they had the same experiences as I did. The owner of M&H then contacted me, advising my situation was going to be looked into, and then no surprise, did not hear back AGAIN.
Only once I threatened to contact Consumer Affairs, my wig was magically ready to be shipped! Who could believe such a coincidence.
They also sent the wig to the wrong address, even though I provided my updated shipping details, so I had to go on a wild goose chase to collect it.
I received the human hair wig on 26 August 2025 it is one of the worst I’ve ever seen – you get better quality from Shein. I ordered the smallest size wig, yet you could fit two heads in this thing. It slides off my head, the cap construction is awful, and the front lace section is poor quality.
I can’t even resell it - straight to the bin.
This company will try to make you feel like it’s somehow your fault, they are rude and unhelpful and once they have your money, good luck getting a quality product out of them.
Please – if you have been affected negatively by this company, reach out to Consumer Affairs. Hopefully if they receive enough in-writing complaints they can look further into M&H.

I paid over $1200 for a wig from this company, and what should have been a straightforward purchase has turned into a nightmare.

Their website clearly states 30 business days for processing/shipping, yet I have now been waiting over 5 months. During this time, the company repeatedly made excuses – first claiming the wig had been sent and blaming Australia Post for delays. Later, they changed their story and admitted the wig was actually not ready. They then offered me a “different wig” that they promised could be shipped immediately, Unsurprisingly, nothing was ever sent.

When I asked for help or a resolution, they became dismissive, refused to take responsibility, and eventually ignored my emails entirely.

For a company charging luxury prices, this level of dishonesty and customer service is shocking. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from them – they do not deliver what they promise, and once they have your money, they stop caring.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve ordered from Milk and Honey a few times before, and everything was fine-until now. I placed an order on June 7th with express shipping and followed up a week later because my wig hadn’t arrived. That’s when I was told it was on backorder-something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere at the time of purchase, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered it.

What followed was over a month of slow, frustrating email exchanges. Their responses were extremely delayed, and I eventually filed a complaint through the Shop app. Unsurprisingly, after doing that, they suddenly replied promptly to all my emails. After all this back-and-forth, I was finally informed that they could no longer send my wig and were only offering either a refund or a different wig.

I opted for the replacement wig, which I’m happy with, but it’s still not what I originally wanted. The whole thing turned into a 2.5-month ordeal that should’ve been avoided with better communication and transparency.

I have ordered several wigs since my first purchase to give them a real go. None have arrived on time and waiting up to 4 months to receive an order. Communication is very poor and you are always following up with M&H. Not sure they can make custom wigs as the one ordered was wrong. Quality is good. Synthetics are good. Won’t refund your money even when it’s their fault. Note: Their policy is no refunds only credits. Had their wigs evaluated with another manufacturer and they confirmed they are not locally custom made and made offshore.

I purchased a wig in April just as I was losing all of my hair due to Alopecia. After 7 weeks I received the wig and it was the complete wrong colour. I contacted costumer service and at first they were so supportive and incredible and offered a replacement. I sent back my wig I had received and since then I have been battling for over a month for a respond. Over a $1000 spent and nothing to show.

I have since lost every single hair on my body, truly the most challenging thing I’ve ever gone through and then to be taken advantage of on top. I have requested a full refund.

Worst company ive ever dealt with. Said 9 in stock. Then renegs and tells you custom made almost a month after purchase. Only sent after almost two months the day after I put complaint in. Hard to get an address for return or reply and then won't even send the store credit once they receive. As they say this is the only option even when wig not only faulty but a cheap mess of a thing. I just bypassed all that I contacted my bank and got my money back that way. Full refund from my bank was issued. Worst company ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with please save yourself the hassle and Stear clear (reply) I also have screen shots to prove they lied to me about being custom made I wouldn't buy nor recommend anyone to buy anything of your site as you tried to scam me personally. And part of your honouring your return policy was to get product back and never give my refund in any form whatsoever! was it? Went over the maximum production date that was given to me. When you knew i needed for funeral! As i have alopecia! This is not what you want to be dealing with at the worst time in my life! Was only sent because i put in a complaint or I'd probably still be waiting! You didn't even want your cheap nasty knock off a product back! Took over a week of non stop emails just to get a return address! No one would want what I was sent especially if it was custom made ive brought $20 dollar wigs of ebay 100 times better than that. The company tried to scam me for the wig I purchased and then the money I paid as well ridiculous company and worst customer service ever. Did not honour return policy either please beware this was a most horrible experience ive ever had. And just know you can get around all of the run around and still get your money back.

Poor quality products even though it states to be an award winning Australian business. Product is shipped from a China warehouse and it takes weeks. Shipping updates are unavailable or unclear. Customer service dismissive. Quality of wigs is poor. One had hair falling out constantly brand new. Really disappointing experience, I would not recommend purchasing from here.

NOT WHAT I ORDERED
I ordered a brown ombre long wig. It looked perfect in the picture. I hàve alopecia and have bought many wigs from other companies and been very happy with them. When I received my $100 wig it wasn't brown... It was a burgundy colour which does not suit my skin tone. The way it was made meant that it even looked like a very bad wig and not natural at all! I'm very disappointed and have asked to send it back for a refund. I will never buy from Milk & Honey again. The Wig Outlet and others are far superior wigs. This "thing" they sent me was just plain awful. Never again.

I purchased a human hair custom wig and didn’t receive any update until 5 weeks later that it was on the way, I had sent pictures, discussed color & style etc when purchased, when the wig arrived it was not anywhere near my color I had sent, so I’ve had to shave my head during chemotherapy which is stressful and was looking forward to finally feeling normal with a wig, I patiently waited 5 weeks for my wig to come, and it being so far off what we’d discussed, on top of all that I had to chase them up on email, fb & ig as I was getting no response. They offered to exchange to a platinum wig that I now have to send to my hairdresser to see if she can try and color match my hair, $1700 a new bill I have to cover with my hairdresser and now almost 6 weeks later I still don’t have a wig. So disappointed.

Made a purchase and received my order number . Haven’t heard a word since .
Sent through multiple emails following up on my order but they haven’t responded .
After placing my initial order I checked out some of the reviews which were not good at all . I honestly think I have little to no chance of receiving my product in a timely manner or a refund . It’s very disappointing to be let down this way . Whilst I understand some items maybe out of stock , on back order etc , it’s not hard to follow up with customer emails to let them know what is happening .

Yasmin helped me find the perfect wig to have while I undergo chemotherapy for the foreseeable future. I felt confident with her advice and it made an otherwise confronting situation very calm and easy. The service was beyond amazing, I'll have this beautiful wig for my wedding as well ❤️

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY- Scam!!! Paid $1491.50 for a wig on the 18/09/2024 and still have not received on the 29/06/2025
They offered me a store credit to purchase $1500 worth of shampoo & hair care products instead, which obviously is just ridiculous.
As a 15 year hair extensions wearer, the weft hair extensions are not up to quality, especially at the weft area- very frayed & when sewn in, becomes itchy and irritating.
