Gave Up on Diveinn & Purchased from Mike’s
I’ve used Mike’s Dive Store multiple times and had a great service. Most recently I instead purchased a dive computer for a Christmas present from Diveinn based on price. The timescale quoted was 5 to 9 days. I received no updates after confirmation of my order. On day 9, I checked progress only to find out that delivery was now being quoted as a further 6 to 10 days. On doing some research I discovered that Diveinn mail all items from the EU, this is not clearly stated when ordering items, and there are lots of reviews on Trustpilot criticising delivery times.
I cancelled my order with Diveinn, I hope the refund arrives in a more timely manner. Nothing yet.
I then ordered the dive computer from Mike’s Dive Store. The item arrived next day as promised and I received timely communication about the delivery. My regret is not purchasing from here in the first place.

I hadn't bought any dive gear for about thirty years! Off on a liveaboard in a few weeks so needed to buy some vital kit and get my dive computer working again. Adam helped me, and spent just shy of two hours talking me through all the relevant BCD and regulator combinations (things had changed since I last bought!). In that time he also serviced my dive computer (now back up and running after a LONG sleep). Adam was very patient, nothing was rushed, and I left feeling I'd bought just the right kit for my needs. Very grateful, would recommend.

Awful mask and a waste of money
Awful mask and a waste of money. Called and spoke to them. Spoke about Cressi and Tusa. Sold me a Tusa, guessing as more expensive! Awful advice as even went through fit test with them as said was OK. Used on holiday. The mask leaked all the time. Constantly coming up to clear it out from the nose area and in the mask. Missed so much as having to clear out. Plus fogs up after awhile and uncomfortable. Cannot get a refund and bought two of them!! Both had the same problems. Also, the snorkel let water in at times and could not expel! Resulted in having to surface and choke as taking in water!! I would NOT use Mike dive store again or recommend. Just buy a cheaper one or Cressi from Amazon. Was an awful experience snorkelling due the this mask which was recommend!

He made sure we had the right gear and that fit and function were spot on. Spent over an hour with him trying wetsuits, boots, masks, socks and fins. He really knew his stuff and is a credit to the team at Mikes. Give this man a pay rise. I have never had better service. Truely Excellent!!

Served by Charlie. We/ I had a pretty good idea of the dive watch I wanted and Charlie's advice validated that we'd chosen the most suitable one. He was very knowledgeable (as you might expect!) but wasn't doing a heavy sales job on us, but was just making sure we got what we needed. We also treated ourselves to a new reg and BCD. Great experience. Charlie very good!

I purchased a prescription mask and…
I purchased a prescription mask and snorkel, had it delivered but they had installed the lens the wrong way round so I made contact with them to rectify the problem which they attempted to do. I was informed I had to send the original item back, wait for them to receive it before they would send a new one out. Upon receiving the item back, they did try to send out another one via DPD but DPD could not deliver as I did not have a secure PIN code to give them as my telephone number was written down wrong (by them) the last digit was wrong. They informed me that I would have to wait until the item was sent back again before they could attempt a 3rd time. I explained a this is not my fault could they send out another asap whilst they waited for the item to be returned as all of this was not my fault but they said no. Great customer service, not! I will buy from elsewhere and get a refund. Beyond fed up and annoyed.

Great service online and in the shop. Looking for a new mask, I got some great advice on features and quality online from Greg and more in the shop from Tom who helped me save some money showing me some more options. I also had a return that was quickly handled for a refund. Many thanks.

I recently visited the store to buy a BCD but wasn't sure which one to get. I was assisted by Charlie who went above and beyond to help me find the right BCD for my needs. He went through pros and cons of several models without any pressure to buy a particular one. I would highly recommend this store and will certainly be coming back!
