Louise Daly

Louise Daly, firstly I have to say that Louise is a super star and without her support I would have lost the plot on a number of occasions. Louise is calm, diligent, reliable & caring, she has the ability to spin many plates very successfully and with ease. Louise is the main lynch pin between buyers, sellers, solicitors on both sides, management companies and even councils should the need arise. All of which she manages with expertise, charm and professionalism. Louise is a wonderful human being, she is passionate, she makes sense and talks in plain English, she keeps you in the loop at all times, she works extremely hard and is a huge asset to Miles & Barr. I have nothing but praise for Louise, like I said at the start of this review she is a super star and speaking to some of her colleagues at Miles & Barr they all have the same praise for her. So thank you Louise you are a life saver in the midst of Solicitor jargon, I truly believe you worked harder, was more reliable and made more sense than the solicitors so you should be paid their fees.

Excellent service - both lettings and sales

I have let a house through M&B for over a year and just completed its sale. The service has been excellent and the team are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.

Great service start to finish

Communication was excellent throughout the process. Sales team and in particular the Senior Sales Negotiator were really good as were the office management team in general. All were very effective.

Rebecca was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Her professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were outstanding. She was incredibly quick to respond and kept me informed throughout the entire process with excellent communication.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made everything feel smooth, easy, and stress-free. I truly appreciated her dedication, reliability, and friendly approach. Property Sale

Miles and Barr (in particular Becky White) were very helpful during the sale and responded promptly with any questions i had. As i live overseas, it was important to have a local contact point that was able to help with a range of issues and concerns.

Not for the vulnerable .

I was less than impressed with the sales team who promised me the earth until they had our signatures on the contract, then coerced into dropping the price of our property in less than two weeks. We also had to deal with a staff member who was often rude and abrasive who upset both me and my husband. We are both elderly and a bit vulnerable and would have benefited from kinder handling. Once we had a buyer our sale and new purchase was coordinated by Louise Daley who I cannot praise enough. She chased everything quickly, kept us fully informed and was always very friendly polite and professional. I would have rated it lower if not for her.

The whole team was fantastic at…

The whole team was fantastic at assisting us with our purchase. We initially dealt with Joe and Maddy at the start of the process who were very helpful and accommodating. Once the transaction had progressed we dealt mainly with Melissa, who I may add is a star! She kept us informed the whole way through. Updated us consistently, we never had to chase or query nothing and she was always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions we had. This was our first time dealing with Miles and Barr and certainly won’t be the last!

Louise Daly was my contact at Miles & Barr for the purchase of a property in Margate. I am an Australian who was buying sight unseen ahead of a move to the UK. Being overseas throughout the process could have been difficult. Fortunately Louise made everything a breeze! She went above and beyond to ensure each stage of the purchase kept moving and helped navigate any challenges. Her communication is excellent and she always kept me well informed. As a first time buyer

As a first time buyer, I cannot fault Miles & Barr one bit. From point of viewing, all the way through to exchange I have felt supported, listened to, understood and well taken care of! For context, I have had a very difficult sale, that’s been going on for over 14 weeks that has caused blood/sweat/tears and sleepless nights! I was assigned Debbie Thwaites to my case and I have to say without her - I wouldn’t have got through it! Not only did she provide professional guidance & advice, she was emotionally supportive which was above all, the most important part to me. She listened when I needed to rant, she bigged me up when I needed a boost, she laughed when I needed cheering up, and was a shoulder to cry on! Debbie needs true recognition for her dedication to the role. Alongside this, I also had James Cussen step into the case and I couldn’t fault him either, he was extremely helpful, offering some really helpful guidance where suitable, very communicative, supportive, understanding and overall great. Honestly, without these 2 people I would’ve given up months ago. In addition to this, whenever I rung the Ashford office, I always had friendly voices answer the phone, which really helped & made a difference!! Miles & Barr really do care. I stand by that and will definitely coming back if I need to sell in the future!
