Rebecca very diligent and supportive, better contact on actual day would have been helpful.

The stars are for the personal contact, initial office personnel, keeping us informed especially Rebecca. The lost star is for the confusion at the end of the process. We were to the wire with our seller’s agent constantly giving us updates. When I rang Miles and Barr we were told the money was with the solicitor, we then rang the solicitor to be told no, it was 4: 45pm before we got the keys. Very stressful. Hiccups along the way not of your making.

The sales team were very helpful and…

The sales team were very helpful and friendly and during the sale period Denise the Miles and Barr liaison person kept us up to date with the progress, ie for the solicitors, surveys etc.

Miles and Barr were great in finding us a buyer so soon after a previous sale fell through twice!

Miles and Barr were great in finding us a buyer so soon after we put our flat on the market, even after we had previous buyers fall through and the disappointment that comes with that.

The process was great overall and the employees were always on hand to help.

Louise Daly was particularly helpful managing the sale process for us once a buyer had been confirmed. She was always available to call and discuss every update along the way which is invaluable in the situation of buying and selling a property.

Her knowledge, professionalism and overall approach was very much appreciated.

DATA BREACH & INCORRECT INFO

I keep being contacted in relation to a property I have not been on the tenancy agreement for since Nov 2023. Despite being told it was an error on previous occasions and records would be updated...the last communications (after I responded to an email) advised I was still on said tenancy and it would be looked into. I forwarded proof of my release from the tenany and have been advised ''we'll look to get you removed'' this has been over a week and communications have been lacking and I am completely in limbo with what's going on. This is also a blatant GDPR breach.

Since leaving this review, the matter has now been rectified promptly following a formal complaint. I would particularly like to thank Jeanette, who could not have been more helpful, understanding, and professional once the complaint was received. I very much appreciate the speed with which the issue was ultimately resolved. However, I did experience over a week of unnecessary stress and uncertainty beforehand due to poor communication and unclear information being provided throughout the process.

Emily at miles and Barr has been excellent she has kept us updated every step of the way and been supportive and empathetic to the stressful and long process of buying and selling a home. She is very knowledgable and has brilliant customer service skills. 5 star!

Great experience

Louise and the whole team made the experience of a first time buyer as hassle free as possible, any and all questions were answered in a timely and professional way and each step explained and and I was fully informed at all stages

Miles and Barr (Deal) made my selling and buying a stress free experience. Everything went smoothly from start to finish with the invaluable help of Emily Strickler. From the day she introduced herself to the day of completion, Emily kept me informed of everything that was going on with regular phone calls. She answered any questions that I didn't understand. Thank you, also, to Luke that showed me around other properties and accompanied me to my final house on a couple of occasions.

Excellent Progression Service

The after sales service with Louise has been brilliant.
Excellent communication by email and phone. Very quick to respond to any emails we sent her which helped lower the stress levels!

Excellent communication was key!

Working with Miles and Barr has been a pleasure, right from the start. We met Scott who was clear and upfront about everything. The team supported veiwings throught and always kept us informed. Debbie Thwaites continued the excellent support in a professional manner and keeping us informed throughout. Without Debbie driving through essential communication with the buyers solicitors and our own. Without this communication to all parties, being key to keeping things on track, we would have been lost. Thank you to the team and especially Debbie.

Unsure. Starting off the selling process but costs seem excessive. A marketing fee of £299 and checks for another £60 seems excessive. Is this normal? Debating changing
