One of my favorite places to buy minifigs from

I have been a TMC customer for about a year and a half, and this company has become one of my go-to places to buy custom minifigs, bodies, and heads from. The prints are very detailed and top quality (especially with the 360-degree leg printing). The pricing isn't too expensive either, making it easier to army build with their figs.

I am not sure why so many people complain about it, but I have placed about two dozen orders and have never experienced one single issue with customer service. The only thing I can agree on is that shipping can take a while, but it usually doesn't take them longer than a week to ship my order out after I placed it online. I did have a couple missing items in one of my last orders, but I reached out to customer service and they responded in 24 hours and sent me replacement items almost immediately.

Over 2 months and they haven't shipped…

Over 2 months and they haven't shipped the figure and won't provide a refund. Owner is rude also in emails. Had to go through paypal resolution just to get refund. Even after all that they still spam me with texts about ordering again.

Don’t buy as tbey take your money and dont ship for months and are rude. I ordered stuff January 3 and its now February 15th still haven’t received thats bogus . Stuff from china ships faster. They are extremely rude and never answer

Seller doesn’t do refunds

Placed an order and an item was missing. They gave me credits to spent on their store.

I asked for a refund instead and it was denied multiple times.

I have never not had a refund if the seller did not provide the product or service that I bought.

Customers should be able to choose whether they want credits or a full refund.

The minifig companies products are…

The minifig companies products are amazing. But their customer service, interactions with customers, business practices, an attitudes towards customers rate among the worst businesses I have ever experienced. After being a loyal customer for several years, I subscribed to one of their subscription boxes, had an issue with the returns and requested that my subscription be canceled due to my inability to cancel it on my own. After being charged two months in a row, receiving no replies to my emails, and no product from the second subscription box that I was charged for. When I attempted to contact the minifig company, I explained how I was upset about the quality of their customer service experience. I was met with a series of disparaging comments, and push back from the owner saying " maybe I should have tried a little harder" when trying to locate a cancel subscription button that was not clearly displayed, nor easily accessible, instead of trying to explain to the customer how the process works. I am one of many customers who have experienced similar situations with the minifig company, including items that I did not receive, despite paying for them, or being sent the wrong parts and not being refunded or sent the correct parts, and having negative interactions with the business owner, who doesn't seem to care about his customers in any way shape or form aside from absorbing money from their wallet. If the minifig company were to change their business practices I might reconsider bringing my business back to their company, but for the time being until they change management I have no desire to do business with a company that doesn't even attempt to accommodate their customers in the smallest way possible when they have an issue or we're wrongfully charged.

terrible customer service, evidenced by your initial reply to this: 'this would be believable if you ever emailed us (you didnt), or if you ordered from us (you didnt).'

Seriously though, what sort of company is TMC where your initial response to an unsatisfied review is to lie and attack. You haven't even asked what the issue was.

The Minifig Co Is Great, But This is How I Truly Feel About This Company

The Minifig Co Is Great,But this actually true becuase you can see that the other reviews also say it too and many people say "it's bad." But you can see how they act on this very page of these reviews.
This company is so childish because the owner always wants you to agree with what he or she says. Sometimes, just to be honest the owner or workers steal the design from other companies and list it as there own product but however, it's bacally the smae things. But I did have a purchase of a USMC Torsos a little while ago and emailed them on when they PROCESS and SHIPPED MY ITEM because I was kind of old to Minifig Co and so I did not expect them to change. They also use the same excuse almost every time Minifig Co gets offended. And somehow, I got a reply and it say they flagged one of reivews down and even though it counts. My review is not fake because I see how Minifig co reply's to their customer and they are kind are threatening and they do use the backup excuses. Just saying what I noticed here. Truly the minifg co trys to flag down bad reviews and try to make it mostly good reviews so that it looks like they are not lying when they are some times. Compared to Brickmania where Brickmania always updates everyone and they fix some problems that do occur for example like a misprint like the misprint from the usmc dress uniform and they sent the right version of it after unlike minifig co like really. Also, it says ''my review counts.''

Extra long order times, and Poor Customers Serives

On Aug 18, 2021, I ordered a few parts from this company. I was not until I opened a dispute on my order around Sep 10, that I had any communication from their customer services on my order. So almost a month, so much longer then the 10 to 14 days of processing time. On Sep 12, I got a notification from them, that a shipping label had been created and was ready to be sent out. Now according your website this process will take between 3 to 7 business days. Its now 9/19. When asked about all of this, after I opened up the dispute, this was the response that I got from there customer services.

"As we clearly stated, and you did not read, USPS must scan it in for it to update. That’s not our problem. This isn’t a review place, so there’s zero need to mention the remaining. We’ll be glad to service customers who are patient and not complaining/making cases against us." So in other words, what they are telling me, is that they are not willing to help out their customers when they have a problem and open a dispute, or get back to them when you email them about their orders, which I did a couple of times, and they never emailed me back in some cases.

In other words, I would not at all recommended this company to anyone, because if it takes over a month just to try and get answers about an order, then its not even worth ordering from that company. I wish I could give them zero stars for the way they have handle this whole order.

Customer service is horrible!

The products are amazing, wonderful and high quality. The customer service and communication with the seller is abysmally bad.

I originally attemped to communicate with the customer service by sending a email with my order details, never got a response and after 3 business days i resent a email. To no response. I even attempted to contact them via other means such as their instagram. But no response. Not even left on read.

And one last thing. On the website there is a banner at the top which says order ship in 10-14 buisness days which is understandable. But currently in at 19 business days and my order is currently still unfulfilled.

Sadly i cannot recomend this website in terms of buying lego minifigures.

As a response to tmc's response. I have read through the FAQs, i have been patient. You avoid the topic of customer service as you say just be patient.
I would really like to know why my order (1 of 3) taking 19 buisness days. All the others have been shipped on time.

After writing this review my order was cancelled by tmc, i recived a full refund and i am thankful for that. But the reason my order was terminated is "Order #35567 was canceled because we suspect it is fraudulent and your payment has been refunded."
I havnt been able to get in contact with tmc still.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I purchased items from them in May 11th, by the 17th I received a notification that it had shipped. Checked tracking and it said the label had been recorded. Fast forward to June 3rd, still no update on tracking. I reached out on Instagram to see what was going on. They ended up reading my message last week and chose to ignore me, I sent an email as well and never heard a thing. I got tired of seeing their stories of them bragging about new merch drops and of people thanking them for their orders, so I did my own thanks minifigco story in which I posted a screenshot of my ignored message. Funny how they can post about new products but can't manage to take a package to USPS in 27 days. Ended up getting a refund and blacklisted from the company, but it was SO WORTH IT. TMC is a Terrible company who apparently doesn't care about good customer service. Never dealing with these people again.

Hasn’t sent order from March and refusing to answer my emails

Awful owner who neglects customers. Made and order on March 20th and also April 9th, both orders are yet to even ship. My orders supposedly processed on April 4th and April 26th and haven’t had any update since. I contacted UPS as I had no update on my tracking and they said that both the items were still with the sender so there is nothing they can do. The owner has not answered multiple emails regarding the problem so refuses to give my money back which in total is over £100. Can’t open a claim with PayPal as I didn’t pay that way and route insurance wasn’t available for some reason at the time of one of the orders.

EDIT: Have never been told about any 'backorders' and I don't want to receive your products I want a refund. After responding to my review the owner has disabled my account on their website. Just shows how messed up this company and owner is. Seller also partially refunded a past order I made after the item I ordered went out of stock. I ordered 3 items and was only refunded for two after not receiving any, this also came after months of waiting and no responses to my emails asking where my order is.

Update: Never received the items the seller said I would in response to my review, or a refund. So that was a complete lie.

OPEN PAYPAL CLAIM AND ASK FOR REFUND

Terrible experience, almost 2 months between paying and receiving shipping tracking, placed 2 order in 2 days and asked to combine them in a single shipping to save money, the seller didnt even answer me and sent me 2 separate package anyway. I wrote like 20 emails, and i never got an answer (until i opened a paypal claim)

After receiving the goods i noticed that some items were missing (instead of 3 items i got 3 totally different items) so i asked paypal for a full refund, which i got after shipping back the items.

Please note that SHIPPING COST for the return of the goods, if there's a mistake by the seller, IS REFUNDED BY PAYPAL; so if you have a terrible experience like me, stand up and claim your rights, because you cant let people like this theminifigco dude win.

Open a Claim with paypal and you will always be refunded if there's an error made by the seller.

I cant stress this enough, but i think that dishonest sellers like this guy should never be given money by anyone, he doesnt deserve honest customers because he's at best an incompetent, and maybe even a deliberate scammer.

If you dont believe me, read all the others feedback you can find here, he's just the worst.

PS: after opening paypal claim i got an email from the seller telling me i'm banned from the store, like if i would even think of buying something from him again lol

PPS: seller claims i did not read terms of service, i did read and screenshotted it, and when confronted him by saying that their own terms proved them wrong they simply asked me to send back all goods or i wouldnt have refund.

It's nice to see how triggered they are by honest reviews from unsatisfied customers, this says a lot about them

Very good products

Very good products, could improve on customer service and how they handle commission products.

Some of the points made here are valid such as no transparency with commissions. They will tell you one deadline but keep changing it.

Outside of commissions, this is a top tier company and a good amount of these reviews are being made by non purchasing TMC customers such as Jeremy 22 who is known for sending damaged goods, B_M_4 who does not purchase TMC, and dash bricks who purchases TMC to destroy.

This is without a doubt the best place to purchase stock items but they are not good for commissions.

Company makes thinly veiled threats

Company makes thinly veiled threats towards customers, but that’s only the start. They have made minifigures of Hitler and SS soldiers, selling them to children. Not to mention their shady business tactics, sometimes taking years to deliver commissions. They do not even listen to criticism or critiques, instead of building a toxic fan base. Only buy from the Minifig co if your heroes are war criminals, otherwise, there are plenty of other options far less toxic and bigoted. Buff Emancipator would be disappointed in you.
