Very happy!
I ordered 40 photo books. Pricing was excellent, and they shipped in a timely fashion and arrived in plenty of time. Beautiful quality, I was very pleased with my experience! The online editor is not highly user friendly, but Mixam support was very helpful throughout the editing process. Definitely will order again!

Great confidence in Mixam
This was the sixth time we have used Mixam to print very high-end hardcover books. The process is remarkably simple (especially once you've gotten the hang of the first one), and everyone is very pleased with the results -- with the sharp inks and beautiful heavy paper. The books always arrive when promised, and we receive regular communication along the way. Working on another one now. We will send it to Mixam with confidence.

Estimated delivery date slightly exceeded
On the website when I ordered my books, it said they would arrive on August 11th, which was perfect because I needed them on for an event on August 15th.
August 13th rolled around and they still hadn’t shown up. I was very stressed, but luckily they showed up on time. Just make sure if you’re gonna order books and you need them for a certain time, don’t rely on the estimated delivery date because you never know what could go wrong.

Beautiful Work
My project turned out beautifully - the quality was exactly as I expected.
Pricing is very high for a one-off book. It gets better with quantity orders.
Tracking was also smooth. I knew the status of my book the whole way through.

Black & White images need improvement
I had a sample copy made then a larger order but the the image contrast was not consisten between the two runs. Also, the book was all black & white images but they were not true B&W - more sepia with too much yellow.

Hi Tony, Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your feedback.
There could be a few reasons for the differences you’ve noticed between your test copy and the larger order.
If your order was submitted with a colour printing specification, greyscale looking images can sometimes contain underlying colour information within the files. This may result in subtle colour casts becoming more noticeable in print, such as the yellow or sepia tone you’ve described.
When a test copy is ordered, we also send a message advising that larger quantities may not necessarily be produced on the same press as the test copy. This is the case with your order, and differences between printing presses can result in some variation in colour and contrast between separate print runs.
That said, we’d be very happy to take a closer look and offer further advice. Please follow the instructions in the email linked to this review and log the issue with us, including clear photographs showing the differences you’ve described.
Our team can then review the images alongside your submitted files and advise whether the artwork is true greyscale or contains colour information, as well as what adjustments you can make to achieve a more neutral black and white result in future prints.

Tricky website but amazing product
At first, I experienced a lot of confusion towards the website’s set up. I emailed back and forth with customer service a few times and they were a great help. And, in the end, the magazines arrived early and in such beautiful condition; The end product exceeded my expectations and outweighed any frustrations I had dealt with earlier on with the website.

Wow Wow Wow
Wow! Wow! I'm just flabbergasted!
Thank you so much the whole Mixam Team for astounding production of my art book. First look an hour ago and I can't get over it. My art hasn't looked so good in decades, this makes all those little snap shops in a box so lame. Such a better way to appreciate all the art I did rather than looking at a digital screen, and it's a hard copy fail-safe back up if digital ever fails.
I'm loving my art again looking at this real book.
Print quality is the best, my choice of paper exactly right and love the hardcover Smith sewn binding. It'll be a great heirloom.
Mixam is an amazing company with top notch service, customer communication, shipping and so glad I didn't go elsewhere for my project. I'll be back with another project hopefully soon.
