I would like to start by saying that I am very happy with the quality of the repair work carried out on my vehicle. The repair itself appears to have been completed to a high standard, and I appreciate the efforts of the team involved.
Unfortunately, my positive experience was initially overshadowed by what happened at the end of the process regarding the courtesy car.
When the courtesy car was returned, two very minor dents were identified on the nearside front door. These dents were almost unnoticeable and were identified by a different member of staff from the person who originally handed the vehicle over to us. The inspection was carried out at the repair centre by what appeared to be a very enthusiastic new starter. At no point was any evidence provided to demonstrate that these dents occurred while the vehicle was in our possession.
We took exceptional care of the courtesy car throughout the time we had it. Given the nature and visibility of the dents, and the lack of any documented evidence showing they were not present beforehand, I do not believe it is fair to assume responsibility for them.
What added to my disappointment was the £40 charge that was applied. There was no explanation of how this figure was calculated, nor any apparent pricing structure or assessment process to justify the amount. It felt like an arbitrary charge rather than one based on a clear and transparent policy.
As the main driver, I was unable to return the vehicle myself due to work commitments, so I arranged for my wife to be insured to drive it back. She had not been involved in either the original handover or any discussions about the inspection process. Understandably, she did not feel in a position to challenge the decision or question the charge at the time, despite our genuine belief that the dents were not caused by us.
While I remain pleased with the quality of the repair work, I was extremely disappointed with how this matter was handled. The circumstances surrounding the identification of the dents, the lack of evidence, and the unexplained £40 charge leave me feeling that I have been treated unfairly.
A couple of days later I did receive a call from MBW who apologised for the way it was handled and offered to refund the £40 and change the way future handovers are undertaken with the aim of avoiding these discrepancies in the future.

Delivered my car to MB Weston for repairs to the front of my vehicle. was met by the lovely staff at 0830hrs and had a smooth transition. during the repair period i was contacted by the team in reception twice weekly and was given updates consistently, without the need to chase the garage, like i have done in the past in other repair outlets.
when the vehicle was ready for collection again really smooth easy transition.
What has surprised me the most is that the car now runs better than when i had it from new.

Used them earlier this year on the recommendation of Kia following an accident. Needed some other repairs done and really happy to use them again. Yet again after I think a royal mail van glanced my car after parking too close MB came to my rescue! Car now in perfect order once again and I can't praise motor bodies enough! Laura and Emma on reception very friendly and professional, Simon the technician doing a perfect job, even ringing to confirm the works required beforehand and estimator who's name I'm sorry to forget assessing the work online and setting things in motion. Shout out also to whoever cleaned my car, the valeting was a surprise and even blacked the tyres, love MB, I'll never go anywhere else!!!
