I initially accepted an offer of £10,000 from MotorMoolah for my 2022 Kia Ceed Sportswagon and was impressed by the valuation. Unfortunately, the experience quickly became frustrating.

The first collection was missed entirely. I was later told that the driver had been taken to hospital, which I appreciate may have been a genuine emergency. However, no one contacted me proactively and I had to chase for updates myself, despite having kept the day free and needing to travel afterwards.

A second collection was arranged. The collector test drove the vehicle and then left without explaining why the sale had been abandoned. After contacting MotorMoolah, I was told there had been an intermittent brake warning light. I was informed that photos would be provided, but they never were. I was then told collection would be rearranged after discovering the vehicle inspector had not disengaged the handbrake fully, but I received no further communication.

The most frustrating aspect was the lack of communication throughout the process. Delays and issues can happen, but customers should be kept informed and provided with clear explanations when a sale is rejected.

In the end, after multiple failed collection attempts and a lack of follow up, I sold the vehicle elsewhere with no issues and at the agreed price.

While the initial valuation was competitive, my experience was overshadowed by poor communication and an inability to complete the transaction.

Quick collection and payment. Gave the car a good going over. I was surprised that the person that collected the car and drove off in it (after payment had been received!) was unable to provide any ID, especially not a driving licence. I feel this should be mandatory for all collections. I can't say we were overjoyed with the price offered for the car, but it was the best we were able to achieve in the circumstances.

Ibbs picked up my car today, super friendly and had a good laugh during the whole sale process. Genuinely such an easy process from start to finish. Got a significantly higher quote from Motormoolah than from other websites like webuyanycar and motorway and also didn’t get any of the ridiculous dedications from the originally quoted price for minor things like small stone chips which are expected on any car. Everything felt honest and fast. Thanks again to Ibbs for making the collection process easy and fun. Cheers brother!

Selling my car 🚗 was easy motor moolah was friendly and helpful from the start of the process I had an advisor called Imogen she was friendly and very helpful and guided me through the whole thing and I even called her to check I had done everything I needed to do. They came to pick the car up we went for a test drive 🚗 all went well. I was paid within 15 minutes and my outstanding finance was paid. I would use again definitely. Thanks 😊
