My Danish Roots Opiniones

I did not know where to begin tracing the Danish roots. I came across My Danish Roots and Niels was amazing with all the information he was able to find. Incredibly greatful for his work.

I hired someone in the U.S.A. to find people in Denmark, and after a few weeks no one was found. With My Danish Roots, all the people were found within three days. Absolutely fantastic, and a pleasure to work with. Their experience really shows.

Det var hurtigt svar og meget tilfredsende svar

Niels was great to work with and kept me updated along the way. I was visiting Denmark and was able to visit one of the family parishes while I was there, which was an experience I will never forget.
If you choose to use this service, you won't be disappointed!

I had been trying fruitlessly to locate any information on The Coast Hospital on Ræfnæs located on the Westcoast of Zealand. Within hours I received 4 informative links from My Danish Roots. Excellent communication and service! Highly recommend if you're trying to find someone / an institutions, etc.

My Danish Roots did a wonderful job finding my Danish ancestors! Christian was very helpful, answered all my questions and provided the requested information ( and more) in a timely manner! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to research their Danish genealogy! I will be hiring them again soon, for a deeper dive into my family roots.

After inquiring several weeks ago, I got an automated acknowledgment and this review but no response to my question as yet. Is there one coming? Who knows?
It's not in my spam folder for March 11. Would you kindly just send the response again? I've received two emails from my Danish roots delivered to my inbox but not the response you said was sent

I utilized My Danish Roots for some family research prior to a family trip. The service provided was very helpful and they were very responsive.

Niels was a great help. He was able to confirm some of what I knew but find out so much more about my grandparents. I was always excited to get his emails. I would recommend anyone who is researching their forebears to use My Danish Roots.

Very quick and informative response from Neils. Thank you.
Neils was able to help us understand how our last name was derived from the geographical area name of Vendsyssel. For 60 years this has been a puzzle after my piano teacher (a Danish emigre named Hanson) told me that my last name was not a family name, but a geographical name in northern Denmark. There are still some loose ends to this question as the 1638 tax records in Oster Hassing list his name as Mads Thomasen Wendelboe. It is still uncertain how he took the family name of Wendelboe as a derivative of Vendsyssel.

Working with Niels was a great experience from start to finish. He works very detail oriented and the results are always supported by solid sources. He went above and beyond to make sure our work is fruitful. During the process he always kept me updated with reports on his progress.

I will turn to him again anytime my path leads me to Danish genealogy!

I would like to thank Niels for his very prompt responses to my enquiry regarding my husband’s gt grandfather, born 1850. It looks as if Niels may have managed to find the family in Denmark and I now intend to ask him to take the research a step further.

Very pleased with the services. Niels took the bit of information I had and was immediately off to the races. Many interim updates, wth clear proof and next steps outlined to make sure I was aligned. Was impressed with how much information they could find within the time allotted.

Only emailed over the weekend - received informative reply Monday! Information very helpful and really appreciate ability to follow up as more questions arise! Friendly, responsive, helpful ! Great service!

Oh my gosh, what a great experience. Would rate a 6 star if I could. I originally started working with Niels a year ago but I didn't have enough background information for him to continue (to me, that spoke of his integrity). My sister recently found some additional information and I reconnected with Niels. The floodgates opened and thanks to him we have a pretty comprehensive picture of our Danish ancestry. He's very good at providing the supporting documentation of his findings which I really appreciated. Based on my experience I highly recommend My Danish Roots.

Jeg elsker denne side, jeg har fundet mine forsvundne forfædre i folketællingen

I really want to thank My Danish Roots. This site was able to have me connect the past with the present. I enjoyed corresponding with Niels. He was able to provide me with the information I was seeking. I had technical problems with payments over the internet, so they were willing to take payment the 'old fashion' way via mail. I recommend that anyone looking for their Danish ancestors to use this site. I cannot thank My Danish Roots enough

The experience working with Niels and Christian was excellent. They presented to the National Danish-American Genealogy Society and our members were impressed with the depth of their knowledge and the range of resources they are able to access. Our organization has many members who are serious amateur genealogists. It was clear that Niels and Christian have the skills and ability to overcome common roadblocks that our members find in their research. They have access to data bases available only within Denmark, they read old Danish script and are familiar with the creative spelling of words that is often found in old records. They also are sensitive to the best ways to contact possible relatives in Denmark within the social norms of the culture. They are professional and clear in their communication and it was easy to work with them.

Fantastic work - Niels was incredibly helpful.

I give the highest recommendation possible. We were searching Denmark for a hard to find birth record, and Niels went above and beyond in his efforts. His knowledge of the local systems were invaluable. We are very glad that we found mydanishroots.dk and the results have made a big difference to our family. Thank you
