Having worked in estate agency for a number of years, I have never come across a solicitors as poorly as My Law Matters. I have been dealing with this company as they are involved in a chain with our client and they are appalling. They do not reply to emails or answer their phones. Even by being given a direct number, you try and contact the conveyancer who will not pick up the phone and then waste another half hour trying to get through to main reception. You repeatedly get given the same update every time you speak to them. Even by placing a complaint and copying Head of Conveyance into to the email, even he does not have the decency to acknowledge the email. Absolute shambles!

I had an excellent experience with My Law Matters during the purchase of my residential property. From start to finish, their conveyancing service was professional, efficient, and extremely well organised. Communication was clear and timely at every stage, which made the whole process far less stressful than expected.

Trusted partners with some really knowledgable and experienced lawyers. Felt very safe and confident working and sharing my personal information with them. Documents handling was professional and even though things were taking time due to external reasons but we were so well informed that never felt disconnected.

FTB with no chain so simple case should have been completed in 8-14 weeks. We’re 30 weeks in and our case hasn’t been touched in 3.5 months with no end in sight. They will not progress our case or talk to us on telephone. The updates we get on email are the same ones we’ve had for months. They are ruining our lives and have caused us considerable anxiety and stress. They do not care and are really unprofessional. I do not recommend the and stay away for your own sanity. Pay the extra and go with somebody who is actually honest and reliable.

My ex-wife instructed My Law Matters to act in the purchase of the family home. However, after nearly four months and more than seven separate requests for updates, there was still no meaningful communication or indication of progress on this case.
The firm showed a complete disregard for client expectations and failed to provide even basic correspondence. There was no consideration for the pressures of a property chain, and their lack of responsiveness caused significant delay and stress. As a direct result, I incurred losses in excess of £3,500.
Based on my experience, this firm showed little respect for their clients’ time or needs. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative conveyancing firms.

I am not a customer of this solicitors but having worked with them on behalf of their client a purchaser of a property through my estate agents I feel it is important for anyone considering their services should know how appalling the service they offer is. I have copies of many emails they sent to their client. I have worked as an estate agent for over 15 years and this company have been by far the worse I have ever encountered. Their total lack of care and the stress they caused their client is most unacceptable. They never returned calls or emails, charged extra to expedite reviewing the replies to enquiries and then took many weeks to report to their client. No sense of urgency and at the stressful time of buying a house and having children to get into school this company were totally useless.

Very professional and clearly communicated well during my consultation sessions. I will be back to using their services in the future

received excellent service throughout my experience, and the online portal was extremely useful and easy to navigate, making the whole process much smoother. I would highly recommend this firm to others. The solicitor was very professional, approachable, and supportive at every stage, taking the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly step by step. Completely incompetent! I don't think I can even recall all the things they did wrong. I've used many solicitors over the years and these are by far the worst.

- They refused to use information already precured by a previous solicitors, despite saying they would do to speed up the process.

- Missed there own deadlines.

- Do not update there own status tracker.

- Fail to respond to emails and voicemails. Even emailed me for an update once. My response was "I am waiting for you to respond to my email from last week".

- The final nail in the coffin was after emailing them on 10th Dec to ensure I could remortgage before the offer expired on the 3rd Jan. After over a week of chasing I finally got to speak to someone:
a) They said I needed to move out. Until they released you don't need to move out when remortgaging your own house.
b) Said it was too late. Offered no apology. Never advised me this would be an issue

we are acting as estate agemts for a client and they were absolutely shocking they were and in my 24 years of doing this job they are quite possibly the worst firm i have come across for a wide variety of reasons throughout the transaction they very nearly cost our client their sale and i would avoid at all costs. They even had to ask the buyers solicitors what they were supposed to be doing !

Can not believe that I was recommended this company through my mortgage advisor. My law matters have completely failed to meet any of their own deadlines (they set themselves) and do not reply to any e-mails that you send them. They will only reply when they feel like its, which could take up to three weeks. They set their emails to 'on annual leave' regularly, I highly doubt the fact they are on holiday. Even my estate agent says they are awful and to avoid at all costs

This company has been horrible to deal with. they keep saying that each task would take 5 - 7 days. The employees, such as, Sereena do not reply unless messaged, repeatedly. Each 5-7 day task takes up to 20 days to complete. Lazy and uprodcutive company
