I have a third test due to be delivered…
I have a third test due to be delivered as the 1st 2 failed. Apparently my photos of the test were too blurry. It's very difficult to photograph the test results as you cannot use the flash or camera light. Would not recommend, easier to see your doctor. Really disappointed as would have been an amazingly easy alternative to making a GP appointment. Test kit really easy to understand and use. Just the photo part, therefore actually getting results was a let down. Would be better with a guide of how to read your own results.

Life changing
To be part of such a widespread movement to understand the human body on both an individual and as a mass across all people and backgrounds I could not wait and felt that finally we could make a change for the better. It was just a simple finger prick test that highlighted certain aspects of my blood count that outlined my health. The knowledge gained has already been used to treat medical conditions around the whole world helping patients and medical teams endlessly. Results differed from GP's
The results (lipid profile) were different from the bloods I got done at the doctors. The process of taking the blood myself was also unpleasant. This was more than two years ago. (Trustpilot didn't allow me to mark it as more than a year before.) Hopefully they've improved or my imprecise results aren't the norm. N.B. This might say unprompted review but I've had two emails from PocDoc asking for it.

Impressive and worth doing
Initially when I first received this healthy heart check I did put it off for a while as I found it quite daunting having to take my own blood!
However I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. It’s actually really easy and there is step by step videos to guide you along the way.
Taking blood wasn’t nowhere near as bad as I thought and I hardly felt the needle for more then half a second.
Once done you wait for the results and you get quite an in depth report. And you can have a pharmacist to arrange to speak to you about the results too for free afterwards.
I’m really impressed I must say.
