In 2019 Mr Patel performed rebuilding surgery after major surgery for cancer on my side,he is very professional and without him performing the operation I would not be here now.

I had a mastopexy (breast lift) on the first of December last year, and I truly couldn’t be happier with the results. From my very first consultation, Mr Patel was warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. He immediately put me at ease with his kindness and his clear depth of knowledge and experience. I felt completely confident that I was in very capable hands.

He explained everything thoroughly, including the realistic limitations, and set clear expectations ahead of surgery — which made me feel fully informed and reassured. Despite being honest and measured about the likely outcome, he actually exceeded my expectations. He took the time to ask detailed questions and made sure we were fully aligned on what I wanted to achieve, which I really appreciated.

Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. All appointments were well organised through his PA, and even after surgery — over the busy Christmas period — both Kristina and Mr Patel were readily available and supportive. They were always responsive and helpful, and I never once felt like I was being a bother.

Overall, my experience has been outstanding, and I’m absolutely delighted with my outcome.

Mr Patel performed my breast reconstruction surgery along with breast reduction on the opposite side. It was the best decision that I made following my breast cancer mastectomy and I am thrilled with the results. He was reassuring and extremely empathetic before, during and after the whole process. I feel incredibly lucky to have been treated by Mr Patel as he has done a fantastic job. I was able to ask him lots of questions prior to my operation and he was honest with me in terms of what he felt that he could offer to produce the best results for me. My experience was enhanced by a polite and friendly manner and excellent explanations of what was wrong and what was being done to correct this. Promptness and efficiency were very good. Uncomfortable surgery was made straightforward and the result was neat micro surgery with a very acceptable scar. My AFX skin tumour was successfully excised.

I had such a fantastic experience from the very start and all the way through with Mr Patel and the team! Everyone at Spire Leicester was incredible with me during my breast reduction surgery and nothing was too much trouble with any of the after care and my questions!

I can’t recommend Mr. Patel highly enough, from my first visit to him, when I needed extra skin excision following a malignant melanoma on my leg, to today’s follow-up appointment.

He is ultra-skilled!! He thought I would need a skin graft, but, astonishingly, he managed to do everything without necessitating that. The upshot is that the scar is a neat, single straight line instead of a hideous ellipse. A bonus was that he did the whole procedure under sedation, instead of needing a general anaesthetic, so I was awake throughout.

What a kind, professional consultant he is. Praise must also go to the anaesthetist, Dr. Leighton and Mr. Patel’s secretary Katrina, for their kindness and professionalism.
