The hotel Wyspianki was very well located 5 minutes from the main square. The guide Duncan was very professional and looked after the group the whole trip. The highlight was the professional guide called Thomas who took us around Auschwitz-Birkenau, Newmarket must use him as the guide for all of their trips.

Was my first holiday with Newmarket Holidays and I enjoyed it very much and was very impressed. Tony, the Tour Manager was excellent and really went the extra mile in looking after the group and myself. He was caring, thoughtful, highly organised, experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour, places we visited and everything to do with the holiday. He was professional yet friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. He gave good commentaries as we travelled along and kept us entertained with his humour and jokes. He even sent a text to me the day before the holiday to introduce himself and said I would then have his mobile number incase of any problems and I needed to contact him for any reason. I thought that was kind and thoughtful to do that in his own time. I really appreciated that. As an 66 year old female travelling solo it was nice to feel looked after by a considerate and caring Tour Manager. Andrew, our coach driver was a careful and professional driver making me feel safe on the coach and journeys at all times. He was experienced and friendly and helpful. Having an excellent tour Manager and Driver really adds to the enjoyment of a holiday. The hotel was good. I enjoyed the buffet meals and there was plenty of different choice apart from desserts which were always different gateaus so it would have been nice to have had more choice on different desserts rather than always gateau. Tony had arranged for our group to have all our meals in The Drury Room, a lovely dining room just off the main dining room. It was nice and quiet and more private for our group to be all together than the noisier, busy dining room. The 3 train excursions were excellent and saw some dramatic and magnificent scenery. Other visits on the coach were great too. I especially loved seeing the reindeers at the Reindeer Centre and enjoyed the talk given by one of the herders there. Very interesting. It was a very enjoyable holiday and have wonderful memories to remember and cherish. I am already looking to book another holiday with Newmarket Holidays and would have no hesitation in recommending the company. Thank you.

Very easy booking online and Musa on customer service was brilliant at sorting out an error made during the booking.

I had a couple of queries my upcoming trip so i spoke with Mtee and he answered all my queries and helped me access the airline to book my seats.

Really helpful and understanding customer service Sharon was so helpful answering my numerous queries and then talking me through booking process. I am slightly deaf and need time to evaluate information. Sharon couldn’t have been more helpful and considering she was not aware of my impairment until we had completed transaction her efforts were exceptional. We booked this trip because we were so impressed with holiday Padusas of Spain we went on this year. We were looked after so well we decided Portugal would be worth doing

We have recently come back from Newmarket holiday Capri, Pompeii and the Amalfi and it was very good .The trip was well organized and the pick up for the trip were from outside the hotel and we had the best local guides ever and if you ever have the Mena and Chinzi double act well you will need a holiday after a weeks with them. We stayed in the Hotel Carvel which while it was good and the location was good the food was not really up to the standard but at least it had a shuttle bus in to Sorrento with it's many restaurants and bars. The pre departures service had been great and the holiday lived up to what we hoped

A fantastic experience for all four of us. First time on a plane & out of the country for my mom but it was the only way she was going to achieve her life’s ambition having been an Elvis fan since the age of 7 in 1956. Julie the Tour Guide was great, really knowledgeable & good fun. Very good at her job. Mike the driver was great & a real character - they worked really well together. Lots of laffs which made the driving between destinations & across states more bearable. Very well organised on the whole. The only gripe I have is with the admin side. My mom has cancer so we upgraded her with my sister so she would be comfortable. Their seats were assigned almost immediately. I wanted to to be close to where my mom was seated so I could support my sister / help my mom should anything have happened. I contacted the Travel Village / Newmarket but was told I would have to wait for the flight locator. I understood there were processes & procedures but not everything fits into a neat little box, I was just looking for some understanding & a bit of humanity really. I contacted Virgin but they couldn’t assist (despite wanting to) because I & the other member in our group were included in Newmarkets block booking in Economy. Anyway, the flight locator came out but by then the closest seats to my mom were an additional £40 each way which we booked & paid for. So tgat added £160 to the overall cost. Also since getting back I have emailed the Travel Village / Newmarket as I would like to contact our Tour Guide Julie but was told that it’s not possible as they don’t have contact numbers for their Tour Guides?? I’ve written back & asked if they can email then? How else does a business engage with its employees otherwise?? Anyway, that aside - it was a trip of a lifetime for us all, a real ‘shared’ experience.

We have had a fabulous holiday in Lake Como and experienced all the amazing trips on offer. Our tour manager Eleonora (Ellie) Cipollina was brilliant so knowledgeable and a great asset to Newmarket. As were all the coach drivers and airport transfer drivers. Hotel Bazzino was ideally situated overlooking the lake and ideally situated for the ferry and also local buses. The hotel staff were all very nice and very helpful too. Newmarket Holidays are considerate of what they offer and I would definitely recommend that you try one or more of their holidays. A 5 star experience

The Scottish rail route holiday was a great success. In the 5 days we did 3 rail journeys in Scotland that we would have struggled to manage ourselves. Tony, the tour manager, met us at the airport to guide us to the coach to take us to our hotel. Some reviews of our hotel highlighted long waits for checking but Tony had arranged for our group to be seen quickly and we only waited a few minutes. We already had an itinerary for the week but Tony managed to add in a lot of extras along our route along with a description of important local sights and interesting history of the area.Toilet breaks were arranged along our route which also gave an opportunity to buy lunch and have a quick look around the town such as at Pitlochry. Although the hotel was fairly basic in many ways, we were lucky in that Tony had arranged for our group to eat in a separate room away from the large number of other diners; it was Scottish half term with a lot of young children.
We cannot speak highly enough of the way Tony managed our holiday, we felt safe and secure knowing that we were in good hands and we look forward to our next tour.
Equally, our coach driver for the week, Andrew, really took care of us. A careful and skilful driver who was always on time, knew the best routes to take and took care to pick us up and drop off in the safest and most convenient places.

Very good service answered query we had on upcoming holiday very quckly and efficiently even though it was Sunday
