I have a pair of Opticron binoculars which needed repair.
I contacted the company's service department and they were very helpful from start to finish. They have done a great job on them & even reduced the quoted price as they said it was quicker & easier to do than expected. I can totally recommend the service based on my experience

I ordered the item one day and it arrived the next day. It was well packaged and the item is useful and good to use.
I ordered a monocular for travel, wildlife and sporting use. I found it easy to set up and use even as a varifocal glasses wearer. Its compact in size with a decent case. It comes with a silicon lens cover for the eyepiece but its not attached - I will make a make something to attach it to the lug for the neck strap or it will get lost! I did order a spare just in case anyway! The lens cap for the other end is attachable by slipping over the barrel but it can get in the way when viewing and slips off easily - I may make something to attach that to the same lug too.
The monocular is apparently water and fog proof but that's not been tested yet this summer!
I have seen in reviews that people find the focussing ring is stiff but I found it fine and to be honest, I don't think I would want it to be slack and slip out of focus easily.
Its first outing was to a sports event and it was really useful to read fine detail on the scoreboard at the other end of the stadium. My daughter who was sceptical was a bit of a convert after 'borrowing' it repeatedly to check up on details!

I needed to replace an old pair of Opticron 8x32 WP DWCF.GA binoculars which recently got damaged, and are no longer made. These new ones, labelled Discovery 8x32 WA ED are even better. Wider field of view and a nice tight adjustment for the inter-eye separation. Just what I needed to close focus on butterflies.

Fast accurate descriptions and no non sensical questions during check out, payment simple and secure. Delivery fast using currier which is un-usual as the couriers tend to be SLOW and un-safe delivery agents. Nice product a little bulky but once you set the eyes correct then plain sailing.
