My experience with Optimus Coach Academy has been a blessing! I was really looking to align my research into neuroscience with a credible ICF certified coaching company. I had previously qualified as a coach with a top 5 global ICF certified coaching company a few years previously. I wanted to upskill and enhance my coaching skills with neuroscience, and positive psychology, and I was not disappointed.

The high value content, and attention to engage a group by the trainers whilst providing feedback to us in each session was superb. Not only that, it created an inclusive community, with other peer coaches, where support is ongoing after the conclusion of the course.

Whether you want to set up your own business, go on to gain further accreditation, or attend workshops/further training, it's all included. Furthermore, the course is updated regularly with new material for educational purposes, so you're getting your money's worth.

It has positively transformed the way I coach my clients, and my own personal development.

What stood out for me was the course being personable, and the nurtured support it provided for new and existing coaches, which was excellent.

A comprehensive course which teaches coaching in its purest form and to the highest ICF standards. Having researched several ICF accredited coaching courses, I chose Optimus Coach Academy for its diversity of content and I wasn't disappointed. The trainers are extremely professional and all bring their own unique style to the training.

Coaching is a subtle art of getting people to recognise what they need to do, and how best they can do it themselves. There is no magic formulae and no one-fits-all solution. Each client has their own way of working through their own issues and at best the coach is a catalyst to make it happen.

Instructors at Optimus are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have helped me explore the art of being a coach and have taught me skills I can use in social, personal and professional settings to be a better listener. This has helped me coach my clients to explore their life style, health, relationships, career, leadership challenges and much more.

To get the best out of the course, and all that Optimus offers, requires serious commitment of time, focus and energy. It will all be worth it though when I get my internationally recognised ICF certificate.

I joined Associate Coaching Diploma - Level 1 in March 2023.

Ruth and the team at Optimus have created a phenomenal offering in their coach training packages. I graduated in May 2023 after doing the professional diploma with them. The training provided with Optimus is second to none, with a huge focus on evidenced based practice and psychology underpinning it all.
I came to Optimus having already completed a coaching certificate but wanting to become a certified coach recognised by the ICF. The journey I went on by doing the course was one of enormous learning, self discovery and deep inner work. My peer coaches on the course were also there every step of the journey. In fact, I still regularly have peer coaching with several people from the course! They’re now friends and firmly in my world 🌟
During the course, life happened and became challenging for me. I reached out to Ruth and she was an utter rockstar at providing the support I needed. It wasn’t even a question. Her kindness and heart shine through in every aspect of her business.
The delivery of the programme is exceptional. The weekly sessions are in-depth, thorough and definitely fulfilled my need for learning. Each week, there was time and space carved out for peer coaching, whether it be pairs or triads and I was able to receive regular feedback on my strengths and areas for development. This was central to my growth as a coach. It was a tough slog - 4 hours every week - and it was a lot on top of full time work for me to juggle but it was worth it all.
At the start of the course, I had no idea where I wanted to end up or what I wanted from a future as a certified coach. What I know for sure is that there is no end to my learning and growth and Optimus is the coach academy for you if that’s what you value. No one is ever “ex-Optimus” because of the exceptional community Ruth and the team have created. Whether it’s the alumni group or HUB group, there is a place for everyone to continue on their learning and growth journey. That I absolutely LOVE.
Ruth is also a true life long learner. She continually strives to seek better ways to support people and is always looking for new and innovative mechanisms to create that support network. I had an incredible experience doing my professional coach diploma with Optimus. I learnt SO much about how to coach ethically and impactfully using the ICF framework. It covers SO much more than just the basics of coaching. Each session is fascinating, enjoyable with lots of discussion and observed practice each week.
 
The trainers (absolute rockstars) were so knowledgeable and supportive! Their invaluable feedback helped me develop into a confident, capable coach.

I am so glad I trained with Optimus. For one thing, the training provided a variety of different coaching approaches, and I really appreciated the emphasis on regular coaching practice with feedback from experienced coaches and mentors. Since qualifying, this has really set me up to confidently develop my own coaching style. I now feel I can adapt to each client based on their individual needs and what is appropriate for them. Ethical practice was emphasised throughout with a focus on the benefits of CPD and reflective practice. Trainers were all very experienced coaches and I felt I benefited from their support and mentorship for the duration of the training. This all supported me to feel very well prepared for coaching my first clients. Not only that, but the ongoing support is incredible, with regular sessions and connection with other coaches through the amazing Alumni group. I completed the ACC Diploma in September 2023 and have nothing but praise for Optimus Coach Academy. The trainers, course content, mentoring and wrap-around support, including Alumni support, is incredible!

I have coached in my career for many years, but was keen to consolidate my skills and practise with a qualification and ICF accreditation. I spent some time reviewing various coaching courses and providers, but was finding it difficult to know which to go for, because there are so many options out there. However, a chance conversation with a well-respected coaching acquaintance led me to focus my research on Optimus. I pursued their website, looked at their social media platforms and - crucially - attended some of the free workshops they offer in their 'workshop weeks', to gain a real sense of what the course content would be like.

Almost instantly, I just knew (and felt) that Optimus was the right choice for me. Ruth facilitated the workshops I attended, and I found her to be warm and knowledgeable, but in a super accessible and down-to-earth way. I especially loved the positive psychology focus and found the neuroscience elements fascinating. For me, another big advantage to studying with Optimus was the direct route to accreditation: all the training hours and mentoring requirements are covered within the diploma. As accreditation was a goal of mine, it was good to know that this process would be simplified by studying with Optimus. I was sold!

The course itself was brilliant! I thoroughly enjoyed my Wednesday morning training sessions; the cohort was small, and I genuinely haven't enjoyed learning this much for years! The course content was interesting, and practical, and delivered by ICF-accredited trainers who are very experienced and approachable. I can't praise them enough.

At the beginning of my Optimus journey, I expected to feel more confident and skilled as a coach, upon completion of the diploma. What I didn't anticipate was the profound effect this experience would have on me as an individual; the level of self-awareness I would gain and how better-equipped I would become at self-coaching. I have found the whole experience inspirational, and it has changed me, and my life!

I achieved my ACC credential (accreditation) last week. This wouldn't have happened without the support from Optimus, this includes their Alumni support, which is off the scale! My own Optimus-trained coach was also instrumental in this, which further demonstrates how powerful, and empowering, professional coaching is.

Ruth and the team are true professionals. I think what makes Optimus stand out is the quality of the instructors, their experience and level of qualification. It’s a first rate service that is slick, but not flashy.

The other thing is that with the Level 2 Diploma, everything you need for PCC is included - training time, mentoring, assessments. You just need to build the hours.

They are professional coaches too so they bring a whole range of experience and knowledge to the training. The training content is well-paced and there is a great balance of learning and practice. Being new to coaching, I extensively researched to find the best course and training facility to obtain my professional coaching diploma. Optimus consistently emerged as a top recommendation, and it lived up to its reputation! Not only did I undergo an incredible coach training program this year, but I also embarked on a journey of self-awareness that led to unexpected yet profoundly impactful personal development.

The courses are meticulously structured, providing ample time each week to work through the learning materials and theory, followed by coaching practice. Initially uncomfortable for me, the practice piece proved vital to the learning process, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

When I signed up to the Diploma course I thought I was simply going to learn what I needed to start a new career as a coach. It's gone beyond career change, it's transformed me and the way I approach life.
